Looking through the old posts on this blog... most of the stuff I've drawn and posted here more than a month or two ago makes me frown and it makes me want to delete everything on here. But, sometimes I look back and I rediscover some pieces I really like, and sometimes I look back and I remember the passion I had for the hobby, or for the subject, or just for improving and learning. I look back and I'm nostalgic and a little melancholic thinking about how things have changed so much, but I am very happy to have grown so much. I can't say everything that's happened along the way (art related and not) has been great but I am incredibly proud of myself. I think I'm a changed person, to a great extent. In fact, I don't think the snake is my favorite guy in this drawing any more. I like the dead fish and the hairy-legged guy. Just some thoughts :)
