ok so I just realized this and I don’t know where else to put it. I’m relatively new to otherkin stuff so I’m not familiar the community or anything so I don’t know where to ask stuff like this.
I realized that I spend a lot of time thinking about being a fictional character in media that I like. Not like in a way where I kin a character (tho I do do that too) but more like imagining myself in the media and the fan interaction that would occur if that were the case. I’ve made self insert OCs for pretty much every fandom I’ve liked for the past one or two years which I always chalked up to being like “I’m having fun and imagining scenarios and being cringe and stuff” but more recently I think I realize it’s more like I feel like ideally I would like to be a fictional character in the same way I feel about my other kintypes.
So that’s my thing! I’m just putting this post out there because again I don’t know where to ask about this stuff and I don’t know if there’s a name for this because looking thru “character kin/characterkin” tags is all just fictionkin stuff which isn’t what I’m looking for. So. If anyone knows more about this than me plz
