About the Mods:

I'm a traumagenic/mixed origins median system, there are a few of us here, but you're probably only going to see the host running the blog.

The host, Ford, is a 22 year old autistic trans man, He/Him or It/Its only, no we aren't going to talk about our trauma, and no we aren't going to provide our other diagnoses. It's none of your business.

If other system mates show up they'll be introduced, otherwise feel free to ask. Good faith questions will be answered.

Mind the DNI, but be aware I'll be responding to things in the system tags as they come. Everything will be tagged as much as I can remember, but tbh I'm not the best at tagging.

Reminders for Plurals

•You don't need to worry about what anyone else thinks of you. You can't please everyone, and accepting this is actually liberating. You don't need to put so much effort into trying to please others that may not like you for who you really are.

•Take care of yourself. You (and your headmates) should be your first priority. You can't pour from an empty cup.

•You can take a break from being online if you need one! You can scroll past things you know will make you feel worse. You are not obligated to doom scroll. You are not obligated to scroll through hateful posts, either.

•You know your brain and how it works better than some random person online probably does! No one else can tell you how your system/collective works.

•Take care of your body. It will make you feel better. Practicing grounding (being more present and in your body) can help you get a sense of what your body needs in the moment.

•You are loved. ♡

If your system functions differently to everyone elses, that doesn’t mean that it’s less real. Plurality is such a varied experience and no two systems function the same way. You’re real, you’re valid, and you’re no lesser for being different.

here’s some positivity for systems with borderline personality disorder!

whether your bpd affects everyone in your system or just a few symptom holders, we know how hard it can be to live with this disorder! if you:

- struggle with a fear of abandonment, either by other people in your life or other headmates in your system

- have bad rejection sensitive dysphoria or are told that you’re overreacting when you get turned down or rejected

- are denied support and care because of how “hot and cold” you are, or lose friends because you’re seen as “wishy washy”

- struggle to find good representation in books, movies, or other forms of media

- get called “crazy” or “insane” simply for trying to live with bpd

- or deal with any other issue that can arise from having bpd

please know that we love and care for you just the way you are! Having bpd does not make you an intrinsically bad person, and you are deserving of kindness and respect, regardless to whether or not you display the “bad symptoms” or your bpd isn’t palatable to society’s taste!

It’s unfortunate that we live in an ableist world, but please know that you are not alone, even when it might feel that way! You are important to those in your life, the headmates in your system, and us! Please don’t be too hard on yourself for having a disorder that’s outside of your control.

Remember your feelings are real, valid, and worthy of acknowledgement. If you’re frustrated or upset, our askbox is always open for vents, advice, or just a listening ear! Our system also is diagnosed with bpd, and we know what it’s like to lose friends because of it.

Know that you’re never gonna lose us though! We’re here for you and we’re rooting for you! We hope you’ll find happiness in life, and loved ones who will accept you as you are!

Embracement of quoi- for whatever identities it can apply to. Not queer-exclusive. So this post is for people who are quoiromantic, quoisexual, quoigender, quoigenic, quoiluntary, or any other quoi- label or combination of.

“Quoi” implies a critical look at how a community is defining its options and what room it allows for pushback against binaries and strict categories. You don’t have to take on a quoi- label to ask these questions: Is it necessary for the aspec community to divide its members along a scale from “most” to “least”? Is it good for the plural community to expect from its members a singular reason why they exist? You don’t have to call yourself quoigender specifically to ask “do I really have to label myself with one of these pre-defined words when gender is such a complicated and nebulous concept anyways?”

If you don’t know, that’s fine. You don’t have to know. Knowing the name for your feelings is not a requirement for having them.

If you don’t care, that’s fine. You don’t have to choose a label ever if you don’t want to and you certainly don’t have to tell other people what you chose. Your acceptance within a community should not hinge on telling them all everything about you.

Not gay as in happy but queer as in fuck you.

Not questioning as in “ask me again tomorrow” but quoi as in “what are you, a cop?”

You know what’s cool as hell? Saying “fuck you” to the dictionary definition. Bisexual lesbians. MLM trans women. People who pick “all of the above” on every form. Autistics with alexithymia and borderlines with no identity stability and anyone else who might never know. Plural systems who are formed by trauma and also not formed by trauma at the same time. People who contradict themselves and own it. That's what quoipunk is here for. Even if they don’t identify as quoi. Quoipunk is also here for self-determination.
