Concept: I finish school. The job I work isnāt my dream job but I enjoy doing it greatly still. It pays enough to cover everything I might need. My bills are never overdue. Money is not a thought in my head. I have a place to live. So do my dogs. It is nice and warm, I have some plants, my bookshelves are full, my sheets are always clean. There is time to read at the end of a day. I read a lot. Thinking is a good thing. I meet up with friends regularly, old and new. They love me. We make memories. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I travel a few times a year, always different places. The places I see steal my breath away. The people I meet teach me of life. They are good. There is no war. The sea calls to me and pay visit. I am independent. I am content.
Why can't you just differentiate between who you are on tumblr and who you are in real life? Maybe you are taking this blogging thing too seriously.
I can't even think of how to answer this bc the thought of being two diff people so to speak to have a blog makes no sense? I basically said I want less screen time and more real life time. I think the fact I'm going to delete shows I don't take this seriously at all.

Going to completely delete this soon... I love it in a sick way, it has a collection of moments in my life, things that make me happy or soothe me, but it's also not real. Instead of looking at pictures of beautiful places I want to experience them. I don't want another social account to scroll through. I think I'm reaching the point where I've just matured out of it. And I need to cut myself loose. I won't make the plunge right this second, but I feel like it's best for my mental health and lifestyle to do it very soon. Friends I've made here, or consider friends even if we don't talk a lot, I have you on fb and insta...and snap chat....I'll still be on all those. I definitely value the small group of horse people I've found on here especially @weareescapingvelocity since I'm pretty sure we've talked each other thru pretty much anything exciting or super shitty. Also shout out to @jumpsandbumps bc I think you are a beautiful person and idk why we don't talk more! Glad I met you guys and I'll keep in touch:) others I haven't named same to all of you!!
Donāt be fooled by thinking itās just a D-ring in a horses mouth. Often times, itās just a disguise for a double twisted wire (shown left) or even a mikmar (shown right). Many illegal bits go unnoticed at shows due to their D appearance on the outside.
do they not do bit checks where they actually open the horseās mouth? is that not standard practice?
I canāt remember the last time Iāve seen a bit check. Probably a good 5 years ago in hunters.

In eventing? They didnāt check mine a year ago when I did a test at a dressage show
They check for the dressage phase in eventing, and are super strict if they see anything like blood in the mouth or even spur rubs when horses are running xc

Tbh, I find it really odd how people defend the stereotypicalĀ āhunter eqā with the basis thatĀ āthese horses jump huge and you need to ride a certain way to show them offā but then some of the same people shit on event riders forĀ ābeing left behindā orĀ āsloppyā etc when really they need to ride more defensively to be safe, are slipping the reins therefore not catching horses in the mouth and are staying out of their way.

May have just jumped on board to do a hunter pace on ana the day after my first overnight emt shift. I'm pumped right now...probably going to be hating myself come Sunday morning š
