Ā Ā There was one thing about the wedding that bothered him, more than anything. There was a part of him, a large part, actually, that was Jealous of Hansol, Minho, and Song Ah. Heād been planning on proposing to Sunok for a few months now, heād had it all planned, the last thing he needed was a ring. He was going to do it next month, God it was only a few weeks away, but the happy threesome had gone and ruined it. He couldnāt propose to her now. Stealing his leadersā thunder wasnāt really a polite thing to do, no matter how close Hansol was with Sunok. Especially given Hansol and Song Ah had very particularā¦.personalities. Which meant heād have to hold off, wait even longer to ask for her hand in marriageā which killed him inside. Being here, surrounded by such happiness, seeing Song Ah walk down the aisle, it all strengthened that jealousy inside him. He wanted it for himself, So badly.Ā
Ā Ā Heād soiled the surprise already of course, but Sunok had coaxed it out of himā somewhat. She knew him better than anyone, so of course sheād gotten to the bottom of his attitude quite quickly. She knew he was planning to propose, which made him hesitant to do itā he didnāt want her expecting it, but it would be more worth it to have her as his wife than to surprise her. He swore to himself that heād propose to her the day he got the ring. But, there was no use wasting his evening being bitter and jealous when she was so beautiful and so close.Ā
Ā Ā He stumbled at their sudden pause, brows raised as he looked her over, curious why she would halt without warning. Her words were soft, her touches even softer, causing his blush to deepen, his cheeks tinted so red it was impossible to miss.Ā āN-Noona, I-iām..ā He was struggling to accept the compliment, like he always did. He decided to write it off, looking at the floor for a moment, struggling to do so with her body pressed against his own. His eyes flickered back up to her, an awkward smile curling on his lips, brows lightly furrowed,Ā āI canāt wait to go home. I just want to hold you tonight.ā
The week leading up to the wedding she wasnāt sure how well it would go, she was happy about the event, but there was a lot of things that made her question how smoothly it would go. She heard that Hansol hadnāt been the easiest when it came to planning it, it wasnāt too much of a shock, he was her best friend ( one of them.) and she knew how he could be. Ā It seemed that they had worked out anything that had to do with that, the wedding was lovely- everyone of them looked happy to be married and any thing that might have happened didnāt matter, at least from her perspective. Ā
Then her boyfriend had been grumpy about the wedding, for most of the time she wasnāt sure what had made him react in such a way, just that something was getting to him. He revealed it to her eventually, though probably not meaning to. It was an unexpected confession at first, but the more she thought about it marriage being on his mind made sense. And the discovery didnāt scare her, or make her uncomfortable like it might have in the past. She remembered how nervous she was when getting ready to admit to him that she loved him, before him it was harder for her. Her feelings of care normally left unsaid, there for the person to decipher through her actions. She thought maybe when marriage had been brought up sheād feel the same as she did then, but she didnāt. When he admitted that he was going to propose, she was surprised, but the idea only made her smile. It wasnāt scary, it didnāt make her nervous, it just made her happy. Sunok couldnāt imagine her life without him, he made things better, and she was happy his mood had turned before the wedding date. Ā And then came the snakes, which probably would have been the biggest problem if her friends hadnāt decided to let it slide. Even if them being there brought her mood down for awhile ultimately everything had turned out fine. It was going smoothly.
His blush grew at her words and he started to stutter a bit, but that was normally how the situation got when she complimented him. She loved the way heād blush, it was something so prominent about him it was hard not to fall in love with it. Sunok watched as he tried to brush it off, attempting to look somewhere other than at her- which probably would have been easier for him if heād choose to look at the wall and not the floor. Ā When he mentioned home, she smiled a bit, remembering the topic she wanted to bring up to him once they were there. Ever since heād admitted his plans for proposal sheād been thinking about a life with him, and although he probably wasnāt going to propose soon it brought something up. She didnāt know why they didnāt live together, heād come over to her apartment enough and he lived in a crowded one with roommates.Ā ā We could go home.. if you want toā She offered, moving one hand from his neck and to the side of his face.Ā ā Weāve been here awhile, Ā no one would blame us for going home. Itās been a long day.ā She finished smiling at him. Dressing up and being in heels normally got uncomfortable after many hours, so going home sounded nice.Ā ā If we went we could probably get peppermint, and get changed out of all this. You could hold me, we could cuddle, Ā maybe more.Ā ā She paused, leaving time for him to figure out her hint.Ā ā Then just talk and Ā spend the rest of the night together.ā
