WIP Wednesday Last Sentence You Wrote
Fourth Wednesday in July…how is that possible?! 😳 I guess that means it’s time for sentences, though!

The uninventively-named Club Grand Tatra was already hopping when the friends arrived, the beat throbbing through the thick walls and leaking around the doorframes.
Hello Monday night and the last sentence I’ve written… (Technically not true, because I wrote a sentence or two during a read-through of part of this weekend’s writing Tuesday afternoon, but I don’t remember which one(s) it was.) The mikerowave5year fic continues to be the only thing I’m actively working on at the moment, at least until I can free up some time to verify Chapter 2 of the Bishova Hunger Games AU has indeed covered everything I need it to—and maybe I’ve finally hit my limit on “working on three fics each week” after pairing those two with the Pride fic in June and the National Mac and Cheese Day ficlet the first half of this month.
Hope Mikaelson paced back and forth across the mouth of the ambulance bay, eyes darting to and fro as she wore a path into the dirty linoleum tiles. Her fingers were equally restless; she didn’t know what to do with her hands. Maybe she should have kept that little fidget toy her cousin Nik had given to her when he was five; that would at least provide some outlet for her nervous energy.
Surprise! (Sorta.) Last week I also finally started the next installment of Scenes from Mikaelson Memorial Hospital. I had the opening line for Scene 4 come to me, and I added a couple more, too. Aside from maybe fleshing out this opening a bit more, there’s not much more I can do until I sigh reread the first three fics in the series—and if there’s anything more difficult than writing smut, it’s rereading smut scenes you have written 🙄 So I’m not actively working on this fic right now, and even after I’ve refreshed my memory, I don’t expect I’ll make a lot of progress—but one of the plagiarists posting a new chapter might really piss me off again and motivate me, too, so you never know…
