     were things normal, this would be quite the sight to see for anyone from remnant. cinder fall, out in a public diner so early in the morning, drinking shitty tea and sitting alone at a table among other lost souls in the diner. when they look up from their mug, they spot the blonde sitting at a table of his own, just one table over, looking. what sticks out to them is that monkeyâs tail. he is not new, cinder thinks. heâs from remnant. Â
     ah, yes, itâs coming back to them now, times of oldâ the vytal festival, the boyâs partner having a fear of water, the entirety of their fight being utterly laughable. as they look him up and down, fall knows it would be idiocy of them to deny that theyâre making eye contact. surely, the boy knows them, the titan to rip down beacon by the pillars of its foundation. yet all they remember of him are flashbacks to the festival. he seemed to hang around blake often. insignificant.
     after a few seconds, they finally acknowledge his presence.  â itâs awfully rude to stare, boy, donât you think? â
@sunsgunsâ, AWKWARD COSTCO DENNYS INTERACTIONS.
familiarity bares itâs fangs as his eyes befall the figure sitting mere tables away from him. tail curls and his hand tightens around his cup as his body tenses. the memories flicker by; heâs never met or faced them personally but he knows all too well of the force that managed to tear down beacon and steal powers that werenât rightfully theirs. it was HARD to NOT have heard of them, especially given how close heâs with people directly affected by their actions.
heâs been staring. he made an attempt to keep the glances brief but the bright blue eyes that focus on them arenât subtle â apparent when their eyes meet. sunâs head turns away but he continues to look over, his mind going over various scenarios. should he ignore them? perhaps heâs wrong? what would he even do in this situation?
thoughts are snipped short as â oh, great â heâs been confronted first. his eyes narrow and he frowns a bit.
â you tell me! â he shrugs a bit, setting his cup down, â âcause iâm pretty sure you were looking over here, too. got a problem? â when itâs necessary, especially in defense of those who matter most, heâs ready to get a bit more hostile. it sure is a good thing this place is crowded, huh?Â
