Aksys has announced four new otome game titles they will be localizing in 2022 for the Nintendo Switch!

Piofiore no Banshou - Episodio 1926 - “The sequel to Piofiore: Fated Memories. Episodio 1926 -BURLONE- The story is set in Burlone, a city in South Italy, shortly after WWI. Autumn, 1925. The events that occurred in Burlone have settled down, and the protagonist, Liliana, enjoys a brief reprieve in peace. In the following year, 1926. Having overcome the clash of the Burlone mafia with her lover, the protagonist is once again dragged into conflict. What are the troubles that await the mafia, who are struggling against the tides of time? Episodio 1926 -ALTERNATIVA- The incident in 1925 ended, but death of the mastermind was not confirmed. In the following year, 1926. Burlone seems to have regained peace. However, the Burlone mafia face plots of the government, the church, as well as a new enemy. Once again, they join hands to deal with the situation. As the key to the solution, the protagonist acts with them once again. Episodio 1926 -HENRI- Some time after the finale of the incident of 1925. The two left Burlone and lived peacefully in France. However, due to a certain incident, they had to return to Burlone. This is a tale of how these two who care for each other become lovers.”

Lover Pretend “Protagonist Chiyuki lives alone and spends all of her time studying for university and doing part-time work. She has two dreams in life. Here is my opinion as a recruiter (of course recruiting is highly subjective and everyone has their own biases in hiring)

1. If its your first job after a gap, don't say its a health reason. They will probably not ask more but they'll probably mentally downgrade you because 'Are they really okay to come back to work?' If it's further back, it'll be less of an issue. This goes triple for any job that is physical.

2. Depending on hiring person, I find 'I was caring for a family member full time' to be a good reason for a gap that I won't question.

3. If you have the opportunity while in a gap, get a certification or degree. Then you can use that as a reason for your gap and it could potentially turn the view of that gap from negative to positive.

4. If you have a "good" reason, most people understand. I speak to people daily who were a Covid layoff and we don't count this gap against them. I also sometimes talk to people who have to explain gaps around 2008 with "Well that was during the financial crisis" and I go say no more I understand.

4. If you don't have a "good" reason, pretend you do. Don't lie but make it sound like the gap was a thing you chose. "I had the opportunity after leaving my last job to take a few months before looking for work again." "I was able to work on building my home business (Ebay, etsy, etc), but now I'm looking for something more stable."

im so enamored with stories that portray love as something soft and kind because i do think that love at its core is an act of kindness. its part of the reason i prefer the idea of growing into love instead of falling in love because when i think of growing into love i think of a garden, like love is something to cultivate, to tend to daily, a steady progression of growth with some setbacks, a few dying leaves here and there, having to move to a bigger pot and a spot with more sunshine, but it’s still something that at the end of the month, or a year, or a decade, or a lifetime you can look at and see the product of your dedication, see exactly what it means to pour your heart into something. i just! love reading about kind love!

honestly i think the secret to staying happy in fandom is to take no shit, spread no shit, and find your people. don’t get too invested that you can’t laugh at it all sometimes, and don’t seek out negativity. the more you look for a pattern of ugliness in an assortment of people who all happen to like the same thing, the more you’ll find it. if you try to be positive, considerate, and empathetic, fandom will reflect that back at you.
