hiatus !

i’m going to be pretty busy for about the next week and a half, because i’m preparing to go out of town for a convention and i just have a lot going on right now, so i figured it would be best to go on a short hiatus.

(if anyone’s interested, i’ll reblog photos from the convention when i return! my friends and i have a huge haikyuu!! group, and i’m going to be hinata!)

The ace heard the soft sniffle from the small crow as he entered the room, face growing concerned. At their question, Bo actually looked up, always falling easily for such things. "The roof?" He voiced, before looking at Hinata, tilting his head slightly. "You alright?"

Hinata nodded and smiled. “Yeah, of course! Why wouldn’t I be?

He gave an awkward laugh, scratching the back of his head.

Hinata isn’t even his teammate, but Bokuto is proud of him, and the exuberant redhead is well deserving of a little (or, in the case of Bokuto, a lot; Bokuto is incapable of doing things in moderation when he’s riled up) praise for his efforts. And so his hands have found themselves nestled in the unruly nest that is Hinata’s orange locks. He ruffles the younger boy’s hair with all of his usual enthusiasm, a huge grin threatening to split his face.

“Good job, good job! That was awesome!”

“Thank you, Bokuto-san!” he says with a giggle.

One of his favorite things in the world is being recognized by his seniors. They’ve been training and playing for years longer than he has, but they still go out of their way to compliment him on a particularly good play. He especially loved it when members of other teams complimented him. They were in no way obligated to give criticism, positive or otherwise, to him, which made it all the more special.
