What’s the name about?

Originally “Sunshine” “Frisbee” and “Laserbeam” were stage names for Andy (“Sunshine” because his songs were all about cheery things like death), Ralph (“Frisbee” as he was playing with a Frisbee while we had this discussion), and Pete (“Laserbeam” because he wanted the cool name, and because Distophia’s manager had previously nicknamed him “Hotrod”).

Also after a while of trying to come up with something cooler it became apparent how ridiculous it is to try and come up with a hip name. The songs are the important part, the rest’s just meant to be fun. So the same way Ace Bushy Striptease started every gig by shouting, “ACE! BUSHY! STRIP! TEASE!” as sort of an ice-breaker, hopefully being called Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam has a similar effect.

We tend to put any remaining stock up on the bandcamp, but if you want a copy of something that’s not on there, get in touch and we’ll see what we can sort out.
