[NEWS] Topp Dogg's leader P-Goon takes to his SNS to demand justice from former producer Cho PD
On December 14, Topp Dogg’s P-Goon took to his Twitter to leave a very serious post regarding Hunus Entertainment’s former CEO and producer, Cho PD.
Hunus Entertainment, which used to be called Stardom Entertainment or Brand New Stardom, was originally created as a hip-hop label by rappers Rhymer and Cho PD, before Rhymer left in 2011 and Cho PD took over as the CEO. In 2015, the label merged with Hunus Entertainment, due to the its financial instability.
P-Goon wrote on his Twitter:
“Hello. This is Topp Dogg’s leader P-Goon.
I would like to demand an honest explanation from our former CEO and producer Cho PD-nim, regarding Topp Dogg’s 8-performance Japanese showcase tour which was carried out in association with Timo Music, and the 300,000,000 KRW (~254,000 USD) which was never recorded in a statement of accounts and has been neglected until this day.
After having looked over the statement of accounts for Topp Dogg’s activities and promotions for the last 3 years, we realized that the revenues earned from the Japanese showcase tour were never recorded in the statement, despite the fact that the 8 performances have been wrapped up successfully.
Currently, Cho PD-nim is in the midst of a lawsuit with Hunus Entertainment, home to Topp Dogg, due to issues with past balance accounts; he is no longer a part of Hunus Entertainment.
We demand an honest explanation from Cho PD-nim.”
Topp Dogg, who debuted in 2013 as ‘the idol group created by Cho PD’, started out with 13 members, but have now become a 9-member group after 3 members left and member Jenissi put a halt to all of his promotions after an SNS controversy.
