"I can't believe this," Katie was shaking her head, watching you apply lipstick. "Are you sure you want to go through with this?"
"No," you said, snapping the lid of the lipstick closed. "But, I'm going to do it anyway."
"What about afterwards?" She was almost pleading with you. Katie had been with you for every aftermath with Alex, had seen you not get out of bed for weeks, had picked up the pieces for you.
"I don't know, Katie," but you felt a bit guilty. "Look, whatever happens, it's not your responsibility."
"I'm not getting at you," her tone softened. "I just- want the best for you. I don't want you to ruin yourself all over again."
"I respect that. And I'm not relying on you to fix everything for me after."
"I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't."
You smiled at her, sitting down on your bed next to her and resting your head on her shoulder. She put an arm around you.
"I also wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't tell you the truth," she said knowingly. "But it looks like I can't change your mind. So, you already know my one truth, my second is that you should wear the red dress. It's sexier."
You grinned. "You think so?"
She nodded defiantly. "Definitely. Go with the red."
The doorbell rang. "I'll get it, you change," Katie hopped up.
"Don't be mean!" You shouted after her.
You changed into the red as Katie went to answer the door. Pulling on your heels, you grabbed your bag, sprayed some perfume that you knew Alex loved, and took one last look in the mirror. You looked hot, a change from the way you looked earlier at the office, your makeup smudged from crying.
You made your way downstairs. Alex and Katie were standing in the hall, Katie barely able to contain her glare in his direction. Alex looked slightly uncomfortable, but as he watched you come down the stairs, his expression changed. There was only one word for it - desire.
He cleared his throat. "Hi. You look- amazing."
"Thanks," you grinned. "So do you."
He was wearing denim jeans and a brown leather jacket, his hair messy around his shoulders, his countenance now relaxed that you had entered the room.
"Have her home by ten," Katie joked, and you and Alex both laughed, until Katie shot him another glare.
"Is she okay?" Alex asked, as you closed the front door behind you.
You smiled a little. "She's fine. She has the same opinion as us, that this probably isn't the best idea."
"Can't blame her for that, I suppose," he shrugged, leading you towards the car and opening the passenger door for you.
You got in, and he closed the door before coming around to the driver's side. Once he was in, he just sat, looking at you.
"You okay?" you asked, noticing that he made no movement to start driving.
"Don't know if I can wait to kiss you," he muttered, his flicking down to your lips, before moving back to your eyes.
You blushed, feeling 16 again, excitement filling your stomach. "Then don't."
You moved towards each other, your lips melting into one another's. God, you missed this, the feel of his lips exactly as it had been that night at the Blur concert, and all those years prior. His hands found your waist, trying to pull you closer, but the gear stick was separating the two of you. So, you crawled into his lap, and he groaned at the touch.
"Jesus Christ," he panted, when you pulled apart for breath. "I'm a fucking idiot, letting you go. You're just like I remember."
His eyes burned into yours as you straddled his lap. You shifted a bit in position, making it seem like you were just getting comfortable, but really, you were teasing him. You wanted to get him riled up, you knew from experience that with a bit of teasing, was when you had the best sex of your lives. You traced a finger down his chest. "So, dinner?"
You could see in his eyes that he wanted to take you right then and there, but part of him wanted to play your game too. It was all in the tension, and the longer it built up, the more you begged for him. He knew how the game worked too, but he had his own hand to play. "Dinner," he agreed.
He drove to the restaurant, a relaxed hand finding your thigh while he drove. In retaliation, you shifted again in your own seat, letting your dress ride up a little higher than was suitable. You weren't going to break first.
When you got to the restaurant, you chatted about your lives, Alex talking about the overnight success the band had had, asking questions about your degree, the internship.
"Feel a bit bad for that lass earlier, Jenny," Alex laughed. "Getting caught in the middle of that."
"Oh, I wouldn't worry, Jenny's pretty experienced," you were nodding, taking a sip of your wine. "She can handle egotistical artists."
Alex cocked an eyebrow playfully. "And you?"
"I also have experience in that area," you smirked at him, shrugging, before the two of you let out a laugh.
The food arrived, the conversation continuing. You listened to him talk passionately about his song-writing process, admitting you hadn't really listened to any of their music because it would have been too hard, which he understood. "You're missing out, though. I mean, I'm egotistical for a reason."
"Shut up," you reached across the table to push his shoulder, as he chuckled.
"You've always been such a flirt," he taunted.
"How?"
"Playfully pushing my shoulder like that?" He raised his eyebrows again. "Come on, just admit you want to touch me."
"And I'm the flirt?" You shot back, smirking. You dropped your voice lower. "Just admit you want me to touch you."
"I have no problem admitting that."
"Well, you should have just said that."
You slid your foot out of your heel underneath the table, running it up his leg gently. You laughed as he nearly choked on his drink, before regaining his composure. "You think you're going to win this game?"
You paused, just smiling at him, letting your foot caress his calf slowly, before you moved it up to his thigh. "You think I'm not?"
"Definitely not, I'm just getting started," he said, reaching under the table. He gripped your foot gently, tracing patterns over the arch. It felt ticklish, and you nearly flipped the table over trying to free it from his grip.
"Not so smug now, are we?" He took a sip of his drink.
You rolled your eyes. "That's not fair. You know I'm ticklish."
"Well, the whole point is to use the other's weaknesses against them."
You slipped your foot back into your heel. "That's true," you nodded, before knocking your fork onto the ground. "Oops," you said, your voice like silk. You stood up, back to him, to bend over and pick it up.
You sat back down, biting your to suppress your giggle, knowing that you had triumphed. He tried to hide it, but his eyes showed his hunger more than ever.
"You're good at this game, to be fair," he admitted.
"I know."
"Don't be cocky," he said, taking another sip of his drink, but the corners of his mouth twitched.
He paid the bill. You went to the bathroom to freshen up, and when you went outside to meet him, he was leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette. He knew you were attracted to this kind of persona. Sure, you could tease him in obvious ways, but this was Alex's strength. Luring you in indirect ways.
You walked towards him. "Thanks for dinner."
He had a mischievous glint in his eye. "No problem, love. So, should I drive you home?"
You paused. He was playing his cards now, trying to make you beg. And honestly, you weren't far off it at this point. The teasing you had performed earlier hadn't just got him riled up, but yourself as well. Watching him stand there, smoke his cigarette with his brown leather jacket hanging loose off of his shoulders, you wanted him to push you against the wall and kiss you. "Do you want to drive me home?" You asked, putting the question back to him.
He took another drag of his cigarette, smirking down at you. "No," he said, lowering his voice, before moving his face down to your ear. "I want to take you back to my hotel room and ruin you. But I'm only going to do it if you say it."
"Okay, you're good at the game too," you folded your arms in mock annoyance, the both of you laughing.
"You may know my weaknesses sweetheart, but I've memorised yours," he said. "I dream about you succumbing to them."
"You do?" you said, moving closer to him, fiddling with the buttons on his shirt. "Because I dream about you making me."
"You want to succumb to them tonight?" he whispered.
"Definitely," you whispered back. "Please..."
He grinned, moving towards the car and opening the passenger door once again for you. On the drive back, neither of you spoke, consumed with the thoughts of what was about to happen. He led you into the hotel, quite a fancy place, which you had assumed it would be, with the success he now had. Walking quickly through the lobby towards the elevator, he held your hand, pressed the button and you both waited, for what felt like an age.
The elevator dinged, the doors opened, and you were both inside. Alex barely waited for the doors to close, before he had you up against the mirror, his mouth on yours like he was starving. You couldn't help but moan into his mouth, and it spurred him on. His hands were all over you, running down your waist to your ass, squeezing it.
"This is so wrong," you gasped when you broke apart, staring into his eyes. "I'm going to hate myself for this in a few days when you're gone."
"Why does it feel so right then?" He said, desperation evident in his voice.
"I know," you agreed, and your hands gripped his hair, pulling his face back to yours.
The elevator opened, and he led you to his room. He lifted you up in his arms, kissing you once more, before laying you down on the bed. He discarded his jacket and his jeans quickly, like he couldn't wait any longer. You did the same, pulling off your dress, your bra and your panties and throwing them to the other side of the room. You both stood naked, you kneeling on the bed, just looking at each other.
"You're fucking perfect," he breathed. "Can't tell you how often I've dreamt of this. Let me see that pretty pussy of yours," he ordered, and you obliged. You laid on your back, bending your legs up to give him the perfect view. He fell to his knees at the sight.
His fingers ran gently through your folds, collecting the wetness which had been gathering there all night. "So wet for me, baby. You've been dying for my cock, haven't you?"
You were completely at his mercy now. "Yes Alex," you whimpered, as his fingers traced your clit in small circles.
"Need to taste you first," he said, and his head was between your legs, his tongue licking from the bottom of your pussy to the top. "Tastes so good. Haven't been able to stop thinking about it."
You grabbed his hair in response, your sighs of pleasure echoing around the room as he inserted two fingers inside you, pumping them quickly as he sucked your clit.
“Oh, right there!” You moaned in pleasure, your head thrown back, his fingers working you quickly alongside his skilful tongue.
You could hear him groan in response against your pussy. The sound of him mixed with the pleasure he was giving you was enough to make you cum, and your first release came. The pleasure was overwhelming. But he kept going, like he didn’t want to stop.
“You’re gonna cum again for me, baby, aren’t you? Fuck, I think I could just sit here for hours and make you cum over and over.”
You were seeing stars now, tears in your eyes. He inserted another finger inside you, stretching your pussy open and sucked on your clit which was now so sensitive from all the exposure.
“Oh my God, yes!” You were practically screaming now, and you didn’t care if people in the next rooms could hear you, they weren’t even in your thoughts. It was like you and Alex were the only two people in the world.
“Let everybody know how good I make you feel,” he growled, increasing his pace even more. Your pussy tightened around his fingers as your second release came, leaving you gasping for breath, your chest heaving. You lay there for a second, before sitting up quickly.
“Stand up,” you were ordering him now. He looked a little surprised, but did as you told him. He was used to be doing the dominant one in these situations.
He was rock hard, you almost whimpered at the sight of him, your pussy pulsing. You spit on your hand, before taking his length in your hand, pumping it a few times and then taking him in your mouth.
He hissed in pleasure, taking your hair in his hands to make a ponytail and moving your head up and down his cock. You were moaning all over him, all the while looking up at him innocently through your eyelashes.
“Fuck,” he hissed, throwing his own head back as your cheeks hollowed, and you took him deeper in your throat. “Need to memorise this. Your pretty little eyes looking up at me. You love this, don’t you?”
You fluttered your eyelashes in response, not being able to speak. You took him even deeper, his cock hitting the back of your throat, making you gag. His expression looked almost pained as he panted in pleasure at the sight and feeling.
All of a sudden, he pulled you off. “That was fucking amazing,” he said, hoisting you onto the bed. “But you were gonna make me cum. And we still wanna have more fun don’t we?”
You nodded, biting your lip. “I have even better news,” you pulled his face down to yours as he hovered over you. “I’m on the pill now, so you can feel all of me. Can’t wait for you to fill me up with your cum.”
“Fucking hell,” he breathed. His eyes burned into yours once again at your words, like he could have just devoured you right there. You’d never had sex with Alex without a condom. “You want me to fuck you raw?”
“Please,” you begged him.
He smirked. “Knew I’d have you like this. Looks like I win the game.”
You nodded. “You always win. You could have me anytime, anywhere. And I’ll always beg for it.”
“Fuck, I could cum and I’m not even inside you yet.”
“Better get a move on then,” you giggled, lying back comfortably.
He lined his cock up with your entrance, pushing himself in with a groan. “You feel so good,” he said as he bottomed out, watching your face for every expression and noise you made. He had you right where he wanted you, at his mercy, begging for him, his fucking dirty girl.
He fucked you rough and raw, pounding into you with a brute force as he pinned your arms on either side of your head.
“Alex!” you were screaming his name again, the pleasure overtaking you. “Your cock feels so good…”
“You’re my dirty slut,” he proclaimed. “No one else gets to touch this pussy. It’s fucking mine. Tell me.”
“It’s yours!” you cried, as he hit that spot over and over. “No one else’s, oh my God- fuck-“
Then he pulled out. “Turn over, sweetheart. And get on your knees.”
You did as you were told, with your face down to the bed and your ass perked up, once again giving him the perfect view. You felt his tongue again for a moment, before you felt his huge length push inside you again.
“You love being fucked like this,” he said, slapping your ass hard. “My dirty girl. Tell me you’re mine.”
“I’m your dirty girl! I love when you bend me over...”
“That’s right,” he growled, panting again as he pounded into you. “Feels amazing, feeling your pussy raw like this. I’m going to fill you with every last drop of my cum.”
His words were killing you. “Please, I want to feel your cum inside me..”
Tears once again leaking from your eyes as he gripped your waist, roughly pulling your ass back and forth over his cock. Then he pulled you up against him, your back to his chest, and continued fucking you forcefully, while his hand moved to your clit. His hand was sloppier now, moving in quick circles around the sensitive bud. Your hand made its way to his neck, pulling you closer to him. Your third release of the night came, and as your walls tightened around him, so did his.
“Fuck, I’m cumming,” he panted, moaning in your ear. “Ah, fuck, yes- take it, that pretty pussy is gonna take all my cum..”
He spilled his load inside of you, and he was moaning himself now at the feeling. The both of you stayed there for a moment, panting, before you pulled yourself off of his cock, leaning forward and letting him see the mess he’d left, the cum dripping from your pussy.
“Filled me up so good,” you whimpered, making his expression weak again as he watched.
“Yeah?” he asked, not able to take his eyes from your pussy. “Felt good?”
“Fucking amazing,” you turned to face him, kneeling on the bed and kissing him, his hands finding your arms and caressing them.
“It really was,” he echoed, the two of you collapsing on the bed. You lay there for a few minutes, both still panting, before you stood up.
“Where you going?” Alex said worriedly.
“Just the toilet,” you laughed. “Why? You want me to stay?”
“Obviously.”
“Okay, I will,” you giggled. “But you’ll have to explain to Katie why I wasn’t home by ten.”
“Okay, but if you don’t hear from me in a few days after I tell her, then call the police.”
You both shared a laugh, before you both headed to the bathroom to clean yourselves up and brush your teeth. Alex flicked water at you from the tap, making you squeal playfully, before he picked you up his in arms again, carrying you back to bed. This time, not to fuck you, but just hold you tightly.
He didn’t want to think about leaving Manchester. He knew that he was going to ask you to come with him, but he wasn’t sure what you would say. Deciding not to ruin a perfect evening, he pushed it from his mind and focused on the present, the sweet scent of your hair in his nose as you cuddled, the warmth and softness of your skin, and the gentle flutter of your eyes closing as you drifted off to sleep.

Part Three
finally named it lol sorry the title is boring!!!!
Part One
Part Two
no smut in this one (am i ok???) i was going to put it in but decided to split chapters, the next one is coming so soon!!
warnings: angst mainly, that's it really
And so you did go back to Manchester, and you didn’t see Alex again. You thought about him though, and you never forgot that night. It lingered with you for months, and even when it faded to the point where you didn’t think about him every day, his face hosted a flash mob in your mind as the university years passed and you had sex with other guys and new boyfriends.
Alex couldn’t forget about the night either. He was devastated when you went back to Manchester. Even though he knew you would, he didn’t care. He would devastate himself over and over, if it meant that he could have you to himself for a moment. Even though you occupied his mind like a thread that had no end no matter how much you pulled at it, things with the band had picked up over the years and he had become a busy man. Arctic Monkeys had blown up on Myspace, got a record deal, and at this point in time, had just released their third album, Humbug.
Jack was long gone by the time you had finished your degree, and you managed to secure a paid internship on a small music magazine. You were aware of Arctic Monkeys’ success, but you actively tried to avoid engaging with it. When their songs came on the radio, you switched stations; on the TV, you changed channels; in public, you left the room. You told yourself that ignoring their existence would help you forget about Alex, and to be fair, at times it did. You were single now, and honestly, having a boyfriend was the last thing on your mind. You were right where you wanted to be: getting paid to write about music, feeling confident in yourself, and living with your best friend Katie in a rented flat.
You had interviewed a few underground musicians, but your main job was typing up the transcripts and taking notes. You were a pretty speedy typist, and had got a bit of a reputation for it around the office. You’d even had competitions with the others on slow days, with no one else able to beat your record of 75 words per minute. You would have preferred to be doing the main interviews, rather than sitting in on them and typing up the transcripts, but you knew this was the price to pay to make your way to the top, and you were happy to pay your dues. It was a Monday today, and it was looking like a pretty normal day, until your boss stumbled in from the stairwell, looking flustered.
He addressed the floor, panting. “Arctic Monkeys. Coming here, today. We managed to swing it with their manager. One hour.”
“You’re kidding!” One of your colleagues gasped, as a bubble of excitement filled the floor.
Your stomach dropped, and you’d also taken the wrong time to have a sip of coffee, as it was spat out on your desk upon receipt of the news. You scrambled about your desk for tissues, trying to clean up the mess. No one else seemed to notice your predicament, far too preoccupied with the prospect of Arctic Monkeys coming to your tiny office.
“This is the biggest act we will have had on the magazine,” your boss was saying. “This could mean great things for us. I need everyone to be on board. No one will be working on other projects today; they need our full attention. Now, Jenny, as you have had the most experience, you will be interviewing.”
You felt like you were having a panic attack. This couldn’t be happening. You hadn’t seen Alex in years. The sensible voice in your head was trying to tell you, no, you don’t want to see him, you’re just now getting over him, but you knew deep down that this wasn’t true. You did want to see him, and you weren’t over him. He was the only man you had ever loved.
You snapped out of your trance at the sound of your name. Everyone in the office was staring at you, including your boss.
“We have no time for daydreaming today, people!” He said angrily, addressing the whole room, before turning back to you. “Did you hear me? You’re going to type up the transcript, okay?”
“Oh, um- I’m not feeling the best..” you said awkwardly.
“I’m just going to pretend I didn’t hear that,” your boss said, exasperatedly. “Okay, everyone, one hour. Let’s get this place sorted out, and Peter, follow me into my office so you can make a note of the band’s coffee orders.”
Everyone scrambled to tidy up and once the door to your boss’s office closed, excited chatter filled the room. You just sat there, feeling as conflicted as ever, not really knowing what emotion you should feel. You felt nervous, excited, happy, sad, eager, hesitant - all at the same time. It was looking like it wasn’t going to be a normal Monday after all.
The hour passed by in a flash, and everyone waited at their desks with bated breath. You stared down at your knees, fiddling with the thread of your jumper. You heard them enter the room, but you couldn’t bear to look up at them.
Your boss was speaking to them, telling them little bits about the magazine, before handing over to Jenny, to take them into the interview room.
“Get in there!” your boss hissed under his breath at you.
They hadn’t seen you yet. They entered the small room first, then Jenny. This was it. You needed to hold your head high, no matter how much you wanted to pull a paper bag over it. You stood up from your desk, and followed Jenny, your laptop under your arm.
You entered the room with a quiet confidence, not really looking at them. But when you sat down, you looked towards them, and saw Alex in the flesh, for the first time in four years.
He looked very different. His hair was long, down to his shoulders basically, and he had to keep flicking it out of his eyes to see. He also seemed gloomier, a brooding presence in the room.
When you looked up, he was staring at you, shock evident on his face for a millisecond, before it seemed like he caught himself, and his face turned blank. You tried to smile, at all of them, but the silence in the room was really distracting, until Jamie broke it.
“Hey!” He said cheerfully, addressing you. “How’ve you been?”
“Hey,” you said back, trying to match his tone. “I’ve been good. Was going to ask about you guys, but that’s not really my job," you gestured to Jenny with a laugh.
"Wait, you know them?" Jenny asked in surprise.
"Um, yeah," you said uncomfortably. "From school days."
Alex scoffed. Everyone turned to look at him, but he made no further comment, so Jenny started the interview.
"So," Jenny said brightly, "You made quite a name for yourselves with your first two albums. I have to say, though, Humbug may take the top spot for me, personally. It feels more personal and confessional than your earlier stuff. Was that intentional?”
Alex leaned back in his chair, thumb dragging along the condensation on his water glass. "I guess people only write honestly when they run out of ways to avoid it."
"Any particular experience inspire it?"
"Yeah." His eyes flicked to you for half a second. "Losing somebody."
Your fingers paused over the keyboard.
"But," he added with a careless smile, "that makes it sound more poetic than it actually was."
You saw Matt, Jamie and Nick exchange looks. The air in the room was very awkward. The interview continued, Jenny asking about sound, influences, the normal stuff. You glanced at Alex, who you could tell was doing his best not to meet your eyes. You looked back down at your keyboard, focusing on typing.
After a discussion of touring, Jenny redirected conversation back to the album. "One of my favourite songs is Cornerstone. What’s the story behind that?"
Alex paused. "It’s fictional," he said simply.
Jenny tilted her head slightly. "Where did the inspiration come from?"
Alex paused again, longer this time, like he was weighing what version of the truth he could safely say out loud. His eyes looked at all different parts of the room besides you.
"It’s about looking for someone in places they’re not," he said.
Jenny smiled politely. "Romantic."
"I didn’t say it was romantic."
She leaned forward a little. "It feels like it is. There’s a kind of… yearning in it. Mistaking strangers for someone familiar."
At that, something shifted in his expression. Not quite a reaction, more like a memory brushing against the surface.
"Yeah," he said quietly. "That’s usually how it starts.”
Jenny glanced down at her notes, then back up. "So it’s a character doing that? Or you?"
"I guess we’ll never know."
His eyes finally landed on you. Jenny noticed it, looking to you with an expression of What is going on? She let out a practiced laugh, attempting to diffuse the tension. “Classic artist mystique.”
Alex didn’t smile.
"You’re very quiet," he said, and you knew immediately he was talking to you.
Jenny blinked. “Sorry - me?”
His voice stayed level, conversational. "You know we can all see you."
The air tightened. "I think I'm missing context," Jenny laughed, awkwardly this time.
“I’m… literally just transcribing," you said sharply. You were starting to get annoyed at him putting everything out in the open, trying to get a reaction out of you.
Alex shrugged. "Okay."
Jenny’s smile faltered for half a second before she rebuilt it. “Okay, I’m definitely missing something here.”
"Lucky you," Jamie said cheekily. The rest of the band laughed, the tension cracking for a moment. Even Alex smiled then, brief and reluctant, like he hadn’t meant to.
Jenny cleared her throat, still smiling slightly like she was trying to recover the shape of the interview.
“Well,” she said brightly, closing her notebook, “on that deeply mysterious note, I think we’ve probably got enough.”
A chorus of relieved movement followed.
Chairs scraped back. Jamie immediately started taking the piss out of something Nick had said twenty minutes earlier. Matt stretched like the entire interview had physically exhausted him.
You looked back down at your laptop, saving the transcript more aggressively than necessary.
“Can you send us a copy before publication?” Jenny asked, slinging her bag over her shoulder.
“Yeah,” you said. “I just need to clean it up first.”
“Good luck with that,” Matt muttered.
Jenny laughed, and the band slowly filtered out of the room around her, conversation loosening back into something easy and familiar.
You kept your eyes on the screen, almost shaking with anger. You didn't realise that not everyone had gone, until the door clicked shut.
Alex was still there, leaning back against the edge of the table now, his hands in his pockets like he hadn’t decided whether he was staying or leaving.
Your stomach tightened immediately.
“You forgot to go,” you said.
“Did I?”
The room felt strange and even smaller, if that was possible, without everyone else in it.
You looked back at the screen. “I’m working.”
“I can see that.”
“You’re distracting.”
“You used to like that.”
"Don't do this, Alex," you pleaded, your voice breaking. "I- I can't go through this again."
He seemed to lose some of his cool, his face faltering. "Me either," he admitted.
"So, let's just leave it, okay?" You stood up, closing your laptop. "The timing has never been right, and it doesn't seem like it ever will be." You were still shaking, but your anger had worn off, to be replaced with an intense sadness. Your eyes were burning from holding back tears.
He moved slowly towards you. He slid the laptop out from your arm, putting it on the table. Then his arms wrapped around you, and it all came out, you were sobbing into his shoulder, he was stroking your hair, muttering that it would be okay. He smelled the same, cigarettes mixed with aftershave, and you felt like you were somewhere else entirely, possibly Heaven, and not the tiny office that had felt like Hell for the past two hours.
You pulled away, and he brought his hands to your face, using his thumbs to wipe away the tears under your eyes. "You're right, but I have to say I don't care if the timing isn't right. I- I'll go through Hell again if I can just have you for a moment."
"Don't say things like that," you whispered hoarsely.
"Why? It's what I feel," he said quietly.
"It makes me weak," you admitted. "It makes me- want to fall in love with you all over again."
"I'm in Manchester for three nights," he said. "Let me take you to dinner."
"This definitely isn't a good idea," you laughed, wiping under your eyes.
He grinned. "No, but I don't care."

i feel like people always peg (lol) early (wpsia/fwn) alex as this shy unaware baby boy who’s too pure for his own good (maybe due to his uncomfortableness with interviews), but like.. r we listening to the same albums??? he’s a cheeky little shit lol. and it’s no shade to anyone who’s a fan of that characterization of alex, but liek.. shy / pure and introverted are completely separate things, and i feel like a lot of introverted people (alex included) all get categorized as one specific archetype of introverted, due to them not being automatically readable. n e ways, i say all this to say, would you mind writing something based off of this? with dom!fwn alex in particular? maybe it’s like reader is inexperienced (but not born yesterday!!!!), but too flustered to talk about that topic in particular, but he’s experienced, which she didn’t expect but is pleasantly surprised? maybe they’re friends, and alex had been checking her out anyway? idk but i’ve been craving it and barely anyone writes it, but the material is legiterally right there!!!! thanks :p
here you go my love <3 hope this is ok and what you were hoping for! if i got anything wrong/missed anything let me know :) happy reading xx

It was another night of ending up at an after party. Heavy nights of drinking seemed to be the defining part of university life, with your assignments sitting on the back burner. It was your final year now so you were used to the routine. A big group of you wandering the streets drunkenly, trying to find an off-license that was open late, always one trying to weasel out of chipping in.
With cheap vodka, wine and a crate of Budweiser secured, you all stumbled towards the student house of one of your friend’s boyfriend’s, Matt. Linking arms with the girls, singing “Half the World Away”, too drunk to care about how much you were probably annoying those poor souls in the other houses along the street, who were due up at 6am for work in the morning. Windows had been flung open on previous nights, voices shouting down angrily, threats of getting the police involved. However, it never seemed to deter you all, the alcohol usually responsible for the behaviour and erasing any feelings of embarrassment or shame.
You had been to Matt’s before. Due to his relationship with your friend, Phoebe, you often found yourselves out with the other three lads he lived with. You knew them from around university, having some of the same lectures, but since Phoebe started dating Matt a couple of months ago, a group had started to form. You liked the lads well enough, Jamie was cheeky, Nick quiet, Alex reserved, but not unconfident. You definitely fancied Alex, but he intimidated you slightly. He wasn’t the type to people-please, if you made a joke and he didn’t find it funny - he wouldn’t laugh just to make you feel comfortable, that sort of way. In a way, you found it quite attractive, being a people-pleaser yourself and knowing the difficulties that came with it. For this reason though, you found him inaccessible and didn’t really speak to him all that much. You sometimes thought you could see his eyes on you, watching your movements, but with his expressions usually being unreadable - you couldn’t jump to any conclusions.
You made it back to the house, and the speakers were immediately blasting The Strokes. You and the girls danced around the house, had long conversations in the bathroom where you often lost track of time, until one of the lads started banging on the door, shouting to hurry up.
You and Phoebe were having such a conversation right now, Phoebe sat on the toilet and you on the side of the bath.
“Matt is so good with his hands,” Phoebe was telling you. “Ugh, he’s so sexy.”
“You think so?” you said, slightly uncomfortable with the topic, not really sure what to say.
“Of course!” Phoebe assured you, unrolling a wad of toilet roll. “How about you? Any guys in your life?”
“Oh, not at the minute, no.”
“Well, I’m telling you, Alex definitely fancies you. He was eyeing you up all night.”
“I don’t know about that,” you laughed. “He’s really hard to read.”
“That’s true, but I’m sure of it. Matt thinks so too.”
“Alex told him that?” Your interest peaked.
“Not specifically. From what Matt says he’s not particularly talkative about that stuff. But we both think he has a thing for you, deffo,” Phoebe was nodding with certainty, as she pulled up her tights, and turned to the sink to wash her hands.
Your heart couldn’t help but race with excitement at the thought. Alex had a quiet, dark horse presence that you couldn’t help but be drawn to, despite your fear.
You went downstairs with Phoebe. It was getting late and some were scattered about on sofas, their heads nodding with tiredness, others still lively and keeping the party going. You went into the kitchen to get a drink, finding Alex there, pouring himself one.
“Oh, hey,” you said awkwardly.
“Hey,” he said. “Want a drink?”
You nodded and he poured you one, handing it to you. You lingered awkwardly, leaning against the kitchen counter. He took a sip of his drink, his eyes meeting yours above the rim.
“So, you enjoying the party?” You asked, shifting your weight from one foot the other, trying to seem aloof.
Alex’s indifference on the other hand, did not seem to take as much effort as yours did. He shrugged casually. “Just the same old stuff.”
Silence fell between you again, the sound of laughter from the other room filling the void. Alex made no movement to join the others, however, so you stayed rooted to the spot.
“You have a boyfriend?” Alex asked, his tone once again nonchalant.
“No,” you answered truthfully. You’d never had a boyfriend really, having “situationships” here and there, that never really seemed to evolve past the talking stage. “How about you?”
“Have I got a boyfriend?” Alex smirked. “No.”
“You never know, might happen for you soon,” you laughed, earning a chuckle from him. It wasn’t often that you drew emotion from him in the times you’d spoken either one-on-one or within the group, so your stomach flipped when you heard the sound.
He didn’t reply, just kept looking at you with interest. You felt kind of flustered under the intensity of his gaze.
“Surprising you don’t have a boyfriend,” He said finally. “Thought you would have.”
“Why’s that?”
“Well, look at you.”
You blushed, laughing awkwardly, while you watched the corners of his mouth twitch at your reaction. At that moment, some of the girls came in, chatting about walking home for the night. As you made to follow them out the kitchen, you heard Alex’s voice again.
“You not up for a couple more drinks?” He asked. “I’ll walk you home after.”
“Sure,” you said, trying not to seem too eager.
The girls left, Nick and Jamie retiring to their respective bedrooms, Matt and Phoebe giggling as they made their way upstairs. You sat on the end of the sofa, as Alex flicked through the CDs, settling on Queens of the Stone Age. You discussed music for a bit, chatting about your favourite bands. Conversation with him seemed to be becoming easier the more you spoke. It shifted again to relationships.
“You ever had a boyfriend then?” He asked.
You shook your head no. “Never. Is that embarrassing?”
“No,” he said casually, shrugging. He opened his mouth as if to say something else, but decided against it.
You pressed him. “What?”
“Have you ever kissed someone?”
“Yes!” you said defensively. “I’m not a prude.”
Alex held his hands up in mock defence, laughing. “Don’t worry, was only asking. Just think it’s mad you’ve never had a boyfriend. I mean, you’re like, really hot,” he said matter-of-factly.
Your stomach flipped again. “Well, I’ve had ‘things’,” you said. “A one night stand, which was like, one of the worst decisions ever.”
Alex raised his eyebrows. “Why?”
“Well, it was just really clumsy, and not what I expected. I didn’t really like the guy that much, we had nothing in common. But I just wanted to get it over with, you know, because it was kinda my first time,” you shifted uncomfortably in your seat.
Alex just stared at you, with that intense gaze again.
“And only time,” you blabbed, trying to fill the silence.
Alex raised his eyebrows again, but didn’t say anything. He took a sip of his drink, then stood up and set it on the table in front of him. When he sat down again, the space between the two of you seemed smaller. “So you’ve only had sex once, with a guy you didn’t like?”
You nodded.
“That’s unfortunate. Way better when it’s with someone you like. Like me, for example,” the corners of his mouth twitching again, cheekily.
You scoffed, but the heat that rose to your cheeks revealed everything. “What makes you think I like you?”
“Oh come on, I’ve seen the way you look at me,” he said.
You just rolled your eyes, trying to appear indifferent, even though the butterflies in your stomach were dive-bombing. Your composure broke when he shifted closer to you, placing a hand on your thigh and leaning close to your ear. “You not seen the way I’ve been looking at you?”
“You’re hard to read,” you tried to laugh, but your voice just came out shaky. You could feel yourself getting wet, excitement rising in your belly and your panties.
“That’s fair,” he murmured in agreement. His finger traced patterns on your upper thigh, nearing the edge of your skirt. “If you could read my mind, you might be shocked.”
You turned to look at him. “Why’s that?”
“You wanna know?”
You nodded. He watched your face for a moment. He knew you were hanging on his every word, and he took advantage of it. He wanted to drag it out, leave you begging for him.
“Like to imagine bringing you upstairs, ripping off those short skirts you wear,” he said softly, his eyes fixed on you. “Tasting you. Bet you taste so sweet.”
His face was an inch from yours now, and he slowly closed the gap, pressing his lips to yours. You leaned into the kiss, and it escalated quickly and messily from there. His hand moved up your skirt, one finger tracing your pussy up to your clit. You gasped at the feeling, and he took advantage of the opening, sliding his tongue into your mouth. The kiss was rough, messy, your hands flying to his hair. One of his hands was wrapped around your waist, holding you in place, while the other continued beneath your skirt, his fingers tracing the hole, his palm pressing hard into your clit.
“So wet for me,” He said, smirking at you. “Knew you fancied me, don’t you?”
You nodded, biting your lip, his intense gaze no longer making you uncomfortable, but turning you on to an enormous degree.
“Need to taste you,” he said, sliding off the sofa and onto his knees. “Been dreaming of it for fucking ages..”
He reached up underneath your skirt, gripping your panties and pulling them down in one quick motion. Then he dove straight in, placing his tongue flat against your clit, providing you with the relief you had been craving. The sounds you were making spurred him on, as his hands gripped your legs, holding you still. He moved one underneath your skirt, placing two fingers inside you, starting slow - then suddenly increasing the pace.
“Fuck!” you gasped, your eyes locked on him as he looked up at you from between your legs, his mouth sucking your clit, the wet, sloppy sounds filling the room amongst your moans. “Oh God- Alex, that feels so good..”
“I was right, your pussy is so fucking sweet,” He murmured against you, his fingers working you faster. “Gonna make you cum on my tongue.”
His words floored you, you could feel yourself reaching the edge as he fucked you with his fingers and his tongue flicked your clit with ease. “Let me hear you darling,” he commanded you. “You gonna cum for me, let me taste every drop?”
“Yes Alex, fuck-please don’t stop!” You pleaded, gripping his hair between your fingers.
“Knew I’d have you begging,” he sounded pleased with himself. Your release came, legs clamping around his head as he rode you through it, crying out his name in gasps.
He ran his fingers through your folds, emitting a slick sound before moving his face in front of yours. He held up his fingers to your lips. “Taste yourself,” he ordered, slipping his fingers inside your mouth. You sucked on them, looking up at him through your eyelashes as you did so. “Jesus Christ, you’re so sexy. Can’t wait to fuck you. You want me to fuck you, baby?”
You nodded, your cheeks hollowed around his fingers, before he removed them from your mouth. “Need to use your words,” he just said.
“Please, Alex, I need you,” you begged. “Please..”
“Well, since you asked so nicely. Come on, stand up.”
You followed his instructions, and he picked you up in his arms, your legs wrapping around him. He carried you up the stairs, your mouths on each other’s again, his tongue forcing its way into your mouth. He carried you into his bedroom, closing the door and dropping you onto his bed. You could see how hard he was through his jeans. He removed them, and his boxers, letting his cock spring free. “Take off your clothes,” he commanded you.
You quickly tore off your shirt and skirt, your eagerness shining through. You removed your bra, your panties already discarded. He pumped his cock a few times in his hand as he towered over you, watching you undress for him.
“Even better than I imagined,” he said, as you lay back, your legs slightly bent, giving him a full view of your body and dripping pussy. He grabbed a condom from a nearby drawer, rolling it onto his cock.
“Gonna fuck you deep now,” he growled. “Gonna show you how it’s supposed to feel.”
He lined himself up with your entrance and pushed into you, your pussy swallowing him whole. The sound from his was otherworldly, he groaned as he bottomed out, pushing deeper into you with every thrust. “So fucking tight,” he groaned, grabbing your arms and pinning them above your head.
“Oh, Alex-feels so good,” you whimpered. “You’re so big..”
“Taking my cock so well,” he said. “Good girl.”
He moved slow, stretching your pussy out with every thrust. You ached for more, faster, whimpering under him as he had your arms pinned above you.
“Faster, Alex, please,” you begged.
“Look at you begging for me,” his expression was readable now, a change from earlier. He looked so smug as he moved slowly within you, making you feel every inch. “Dying for me to fuck you rough, aren’t you?”
“Yes Alex, please, please fuck me, I need you…”
Suddenly he increased the pace, slamming his cock into you, a smug grin on his face as he watched you throw your head back in pleasure. He fucking loved seeing you like this, completely at his mercy. He panted above you as he gave you what you wanted, fucking you rough, his thrusts hitting the right spot over and over.
One hand remained holding your wrists above your head, pressing them hard into the mattress, while his other hand found your clit again, rubbing in rough, messy circles as he fucked you raw, the sound of skin slapping hard filling the room.
“This pussy was made for me,” he affirmed, his eyes burning with desire as you nodded in response. “Only I get to fuck you from now on. You’re fucking mine.”
You were nearly crying now, as you could feel another orgasm coming. He knew it too, slamming into you with a brute force, his fingers working you clit with a chaotic speed. “You gonna cum babe? All over my cock? C’mon, let go for me..”
And you did. Your orgasm came over you in shocking waves, you don’t know how long it lasted. All you knew is that your brain went blank, the only thing that mattered was his cock inside you, everything else disappearing. Your walls clenched completely around him, making Alex himself start to lose his composure. “Fuck,” he hissed. “Gonna make me cum.”
Then came his release, his eyes narrowed and fixed on you the whole time as he came, rough, guttaral moans spilling from his mouth and his load spilling into the condom. He collapsed on top of you, the both of you panting hard. The experience left you weak but completely fulfilled. You were still trying to catch your breath, lying still as he shifted off of you, tossing the condom in the bin and cleaning himself up.
“So how was your second time?” He asked playfully.
“Amazing,” was all you could say, and he laughed. You sat up, perching on the edge of his bed. “Um, are you okay to walk me home now?”
He rolled his eyes. “Shut up. I only said that so you’d stay. Here,” he said, throwing you one of t-shirts and a pair of boxers.
You pulled them on, curling up in his bed. He fell in beside you, lazily throwing an arm round you. “Staying right here with me,” he murmured softly into your hair.
“Good, cause I don’t think I can walk,” you said truthfully as he let out a deep laugh.
He kissed your forehead, and you nestled into his chest, the both of you exhausted. It wasn’t long until you drifted off to sleep, both of you blissfully unaware that your panties were still downstairs, where Jamie found them the next morning.

Over the summer after Leaver's Night, you and Alex became inseparable. You got a summer job at the book shop, and he would come and pretend to be browsing the shelves. When your manager wasn't around, he would lean on the counter to talk to you about everything from what movies you had watched lately, what books you had read, to your plans for the future, your family history, what your deepest fears were in life. On your lunch break, he would steal you away for 45 minutes, bringing you sandwiches and crisps and lemonade. You would sit on the same bench every day in the local park (God forbid someone else sat there), taking bites of your sandwich in between kisses, his arm around you, trying not to think of the minutes passing when you would have to go back to work. He took you on dates, every Saturday you went to the cinema and every Sunday he cooked you dinner. He burned CDs with songs that reminded him of you. He played the guitar to you as you lay on his bed in one of his shirts, his voice dripping with love and affection. You had passionate conversations that lasted hours, learning everything about each other in great detail. It made Matt and Katie feel sick, really.
Alex was obsessed with you. He wanted to know everything there was to know about you, every part of you that you were too afraid to show to the rest of the world. You were like a drug, except that he never found himself chasing the first high - because every time you revealed something new about yourself, he found that it was even better than the last time. And the sex - Jesus Christ. You knew just how to coax him out, you said all right things, you moved exactly the right way. He was addicted to you. He tried not to think about going to university, because then you would be apart. He wasn't even that fussed on the band anymore, you consumed his mind, you were his everything. His favourite time of day was when you finished work, he would come to meet you at the door and you would walk home together and he would finally have you all to himself.
When the summer ended, it was like the whole world had come crashing down. You were going to university in Manchester, him in London. You discussed long distance, in hopeful tones, that neither of you really believed.
The first few weeks were Hell for Alex. You called each other on the phone, but soon it turned to never catching each other at the right time, instead a constant array of messages from either side. You planned visits with each other that never seemed to materialise, because you both were bogged down with assignments and lectures and freshers weeks and university societies.
If he thought the first few weeks were Hell, after a month and a half, was when he really entered the fiery pit. After weeks of messages, you finally caught each other at the right time. His excitement was soon crushed, when you said the fateful words, "I don't think this is working."
"You don't think so?" Alex tried to make his voice sound even.
"I'm sorry, Alex, I don't think it is," your voice breaking. "I just - I don't think this is good for either of us. It's killing me not being able to see you."
"You have no idea," Alex said, pushing his hair back with his hand in frustration. "I think about you all the time."
"Same here," you replied, your eyes starting to burn with tears. "I can't do it anymore. It's making me too depressed, and I need to focus. I've spent my whole life dreaming about coming to university, and now I'm here, I can't concentrate."
"Don't do this, please," Alex begged. "Please, we can work it out. You were going to come visit at Christmas."
"And then not see you for months after?" You said. "And spend the next six months of my life in misery?"
"Please. I love you..."
"I love you too, but I'm sorry."
And the line clicked, and you were gone.
***
You sobbed in bed nearly every day. You lived in a student house with Katie and some others you met at the beginning of the year, and the group of them tried to encourage you into coming out, having drinks, getting back on track. Your assignment scores, which had started out well, were dropping. The visit at Christmas, never happened. The months passed by in misery, until finally, January came and Katie had had enough.
"Okay, that's it," She came barging into your room at 4pm, wrenching the curtains open, flinging the window open, and pulling back your covers. "Come on now, it's been months."
"Katie please, just leave me alone."
"No, I've left you alone for too long. It's time to move on."
She cleared your desk, taking half drunk cups of mouldy tea to the kitchen, filling black bags with rubbish, taking loads of washing back and forth from the laundromat. She dragged you to the library, and forced you to work. She brought you coffees and pastries in the afternoon when you finished essays, seeing them as an incentive. She nagged you into showering. And after a couple of weeks of productivity, things started to feel normal again.
"Okay, we’re going out for cocktails,” Katie proclaimed one afternoon. “Tonight at 7.”
You didn’t feel like it, but there was nothing else to do, and you knew Katie would nag you if you protested. So you got up, got showered, put on a short black dress with flowers embroidered on the front, and straightened your hair. It was quite fun to be back to normality as you and Katie sat in your bedroom, playing CDs, sipping Smirnoff ices and doing your make-up. You found yourself laughing again, as Katie did impressions of one of your old, cantankerous lecturers, played fuck marry kill with members of the Beatles and rounds of never have I ever.
You departed for the cocktail bar with the rest of the group from your student house and the antics continued. Shots of tequila, disco dancing, and cheering Katie on when she ended up making out with a guy in the corner of the bar. You were having so much fun but you could feel the drink rising to your head so you stepped outside for some fresh air and a cigarette.
You flicked your lighter three times clumsily, realising there was no fluid left in it, when a voice came to your rescue.
“Need a light?”
You looked up, and a guy from one of your lectures was smiling at you. You had noticed him in passing, he had a sort of young James Dean thing going on, with dark hair and kind eyes. He held the lighter up for you, and you bent forward, cigarette in mouth to ignite the end.
“I’m Jack,” he said. “You’re in my Victorian Literature class, right?”
“Yeah,” you smiled, introducing yourself.
“What do you think of old Mercer then?”
You laughed into your drink. “That depends. Are you asking academically or emotionally?”
“Emotionally.”
“I think he’s one bad lecture away from snapping and locking us all in a room with Wuthering Heights.”
He chuckled. “Yeah, but you’ve got to admit he makes Victorian literature sound kind of interesting.”
“That’s because he talks about doomed marriages like he’s experienced at least three.”
He let out a laugh. “You’re brutal.”
“You started the conversation.”
He stubbed out his cigarette in the ashtray. “I’m glad I did,” he said with a grin, his eyes fixed on you, waiting for your reaction.
Heat rose to your cheeks, maintaining eye contact with him, despite a voice in the back of your head whispering Alex.
“Me too,” you said, tilting your head to one side.
“You wanna continue it tomorrow over dinner?”
You exchanged numbers and agreed to meet at seven tomorrow. He reached over slowly, dropping his lighter in your pocket, letting you inhale his scent of cigarettes and aftershave. His hand lingered a second longer than it needed to, as he kept his eyes on yours, flickering down to your lips and back up to your eyes again. "Keep that one," he murmured, before turning away from you to make his way back inside.
***
The dinner went well, and the dates following that were great. Jack was charming, flirty and there was no doubt about his good looks, but you couldn't shake the feeling of guilt sitting deep in your stomach every time you agreed to meet him again. You knew that you had nothing to feel guilty about, you and Alex had been broken up for 10 months now, and you were sure that he would have moved on. You tried to comfort yourself with this thought as the time rolled on and things escalated with Jack, to the point where you ended up staying at his a couple of nights a week. It didn't help that every time you had sex, you compared it to Alex, and it never seemed to measure up. You found yourself touching yourself some nights, dreaming of Alex.
"So, Blur are doing a gig in London," Jack told you one evening, as you lay on his bed beside him. "I bought us tickets, I thought we could make a weekend of it?"
"In London?" you shifted uncomfortably, Alex's presence in your mind making its way to the front again.
"Yeah, don't you like London?"
"No I do, it's just-" you paused, not sure how to proceed. London was a big city, Blur a big band - you probably wouldn't even see Alex. "Nevermind. I'd love to go with you."
***
10 months had passed since your break-up, and Alex was finally starting to feel like himself again. The band reuniting had helped, giving him something to focus on and pour energy into, aside from university which was hectic the last couple of weeks. He submitted his final assignment for the year, and met up with the lads for pints that afternoon.
"Thank God that's over," he said, with a sigh of relief. "This year has been shit."
"Break-ups are hard," said Jamie with a playful grin. "I should know - we had the same one."
Alex nudged him as the lads all laughed, but it was all in good fun. Jamie had been understanding about the whole relationship, despite going out with you himself a year prior. You and Jamie had got on well, but it was a young, fairly short-lived romance. Jamie knew that Alex loved you in a way that he never had so he never had any hard feelings about the situation. He had been even more supportive to Alex during the break-up, trying to urge him to talk as much as possible. It was Jamie that had helped reignite Alex's passion for the band.
Topic turned to the Blur concert next week. "You better have that money you owe me for the ticket, Jamie," Matt warned, as Jamie rolled his eyes. "This isn't a bank. I'm a struggling uni student."
"Yeah, yeah," Jamie laughed. "I'm skint now but I get paid next week. I'll give you it then."
"But you can come out and buy pints?"
"That's different, that's necessary for my health and mental wellbeing."
The week passed by in a flash. After sticking on a t-shirt and jeans, spraying himself with aftershave and clumsily shoving wallet, keys and cigarettes in his back pocket, Alex departed with the lads to the pub nearby the venue to get a pint or two in before the concert.
Jamie came back to the table holding a tray of shots. "Payday," he explained.
"This is why you have no money, mate," Nick joked.
"Worth it," Jamie shrugged.
So they all downed the shots amongst pints of Stella and discussed the concert in excitement. Alex was happy, properly happy, for the first time in what felt like forever. The happiness came crashing down quite quickly, though.
"So I was trying to chat her up, and my boss completely gets in the way, saying something about 'You can't flirt with the customers?' And then-" Nick stopped dead in the middle of his sentence.
"What?" said Alex.
"Nothing," Nick shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
Jamie had noticed before Alex. "Will we head into the venue now?"
"Why? It doesn't start for another hour."
"I know, I know, but we can get a pint in there..."
But it was too late. Alex had turned his head, and there you were in the corner of the bar, sitting close to some guy, who had his arm around you and was twiddling with your hair. You looked good, too. A low-cut top with a gold, heart-shaped necklace just resting above your bosom. Your hair falling at your shoulders, a glint in it when you turned, a catch of the light. Your skin looked so soft, his imagination was so strong in that although you were sitting a bit away, he could almost smell the fruity scent that was always previously stuck to your skin. It awoke something in him again, something that he had tried to bury and he felt a twitch in his boxers as he imagined again holding you, hearing you gasp in his ear, moan his name, grasp at his neck and his back.
You were laughing at something the guy said. As Alex watched the scene before him, he felt his heart literally ripping in two. The complete separation happened as he watched the guy lean down and press his lips to yours, your hand rising to rest on his neck - the same way that it had rested on Alex's neck many months ago.
"Fuck sake," Jamie muttered. "Look, don't worry about it mate. Let's just go and enjoy the gig."
But to Alex, Jamie's voice sounded like it was coming from really far away and he could barely even process what he was saying. All he could do was stare down at his half-finished pint, and fight the urge to pick it up and smash it over that guy's head.
Matt appeared with more shots, which Alex took willingly. 20 minutes before the gig was due to start, they made their way into the venue. Alex could see you from out the corner of his left eye - you were standing in front of that guy, who had his arms wrapped around your waist from behind. Alex could feel the rage bubbling inside him. The more alcohol he consumed, the worse it became.
So much for London being a big city and Blur a big band, because you spotted Alex in the venue. You and Jack stood in the crowd, his arms around you, when you glanced to your right and saw them - all four of them standing together, pints sloshing in their hands. Alex's eyes met yours, you could see the ferocity in them, and God, you were a terrible person, being here with Jack, because all you could think when you saw Alex's face and the anger that seemed to be within it, was Please fuck me. His hair was slightly longer now. You were finding it hard to not look, and because Alex always seemed to have had a skill for reading your mind, particularly when it came to this sort of thing, you were becoming panicked. The more you tried not to imagine him fucking you, the harder it was to get the images out of your mind. Bent over as his hand rested on the curve of your back. His words of praise and encouragement warming you from the inside out. Rising back up so that his chest aligned with your back. Gripping on his neck as he stood behind you, slamming into you with the force of a man who couldn't believe what he had, but would do everything in his power to protect it and keep it for himself. You could feel your panties getting wet as you stood there.
"I-uh, I have to go to the bathroom!" you blurted out to Jack over the noise of the crowd, as Blur started to appear.
Jack looked confused at your tone. "You okay?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine - just not feeling well..."
You left him and said you would meet at the same spot, and made your way through the crowd to the back, behind the bar where there were toilets. The sound was muffled here and it was deserted, everyone out enjoying the concert. You stumbled into one of the toilets, closing the door standing in front of the individual sink, breathing hard.
All the feelings were coming rushing back. This was a mistake, coming here, and you were kicking yourself for not trusting your gut instinct. It was almost in you to just run away now, but you couldn't leave Jack. You touched up your make-up, fixed your skirt and hair, sprayed some perfume on your neck and wrists and opened the door, to see Alex standing against the wall in front by himself.
The distance was too close now to ignore, it wasn't like in the crowd, when you both could just look away from each other. Alex was staring straight at you, the flame still present within his eyes as he looked at you. He took a step towards you, and you to him. No words were spoken, but suddenly - you were on each other. Your mouths met with a ferocity like no other, he forced his tongue into your mouth and you were stumbling back into the toilet, holding onto his hair as he shut the door and locked it behind him, never removing his mouth from yours.
When you finally did break apart, he held you in his arms, running his hands and eyes up and down your body, taking you all in, as if he feared you weren't real.
He spoke first. "You're doing it again."
"Doing what?"
"Making me jealous. And we know how that ended last time."
His face was at your neck now, taking in a deep breath, inhaling your scent before his mouth touched your neck, sucking and biting - marking you for all to see. His hands ran over your body, squeezing your ass roughly before one hand came around the front, feeling underneath your skirt.
"Fucking hell, you're soaking," He said, as one finger ran over your clothed pussy. "That better be for me."
"It is," you breathed, not being able to help yourself - God, you really wanted him.
"Yeah?" He asked, continuing to tease you through your panties. "How do I know that? How do I know you're not thinking about him?"
He slipped one finger inside your panties, agonisingly slow, as your eyes burned into each other's. You let out a gasp as he pressed his finger right against your clit. "You want me to keep going?"
You nodded, biting your lip in desperation as you longed for more of his touch.
He removed his hand completely. "You're going to have to prove to me that you weren't thinking about him, then. Touch yourself and tell me what you were thinking about."
He watched as your own hand went into your panties, collecting the wetness and bringing it back to your clit. You started to move your fingers in small circles as he stood there in front of you, watching your every movement. "Tell me, then," he ordered.
"I was thinking about how-how you used to bend me over," you trembled. "And fuck me from behind."
"You always loved that position, my dirty girl," he growled, as he undid his jeans and ran his hand over his length, through his boxers. "Ok, what else?"
Your eyes followed his hand, watching as he palmed himself slowly. You were desperate to see his cock, hold it in your hand, and the desperation showed in your voice. "I-I was thinking about your cock," you whined, as you increased your speed with your own hand. "I was thinking about how big it was inside me, and how it felt so good.."
He reached into his boxers, taking his cock in his hand. He collected the precum at the top on his thumb, sliding his hand up and down his length. "Can he fuck you like I can?"
"No, never," you said immediately. "I always touch myself after and think of you."
That did it for him, he couldn't wait anymore. He grabbed you then, pushing you against the wall, wrenching your hand out of your panties and replacing it with his own. He massaged your clit at such a speed where you threw your head back, crying out his name and gripping his neck. "That's it baby, you like that?"
"Yes, yes!" you cried, his fingers entering you while still rubbing your clit, you could feel your orgasm coming closer.
"You want me to make you cum, don't you?"
"Yes-" the room was filled with the sound of your moans, and then - his fingers slid out of you, his hand out of your panties, just as you were nearing the edge.
"Not yet," he said simply. "No, I think you need to be taught a lesson. You can't come here, looking like that, parading around in front of me with him. Take off your panties."
"We're going to do my favourite position," he continued, picking you up to wrap your legs around him. He leaned against the sink then. "And then I'll see about letting you cum."
He lowered you onto his cock, the feeling was euphoric, something that you had missed with every fiber of your being. He watched you closely as your mouth formed an 'o' shape, adding the image to his mental memory. His strong arms held your legs, him doing most of the work to help you bounce on his cock, his familiar words of praise washing over you.
"So good baby, fuck I've missed you," he whispered. "Let me hear you."
You moaned, directly in his ear, panting his name. He could have came right then. "You're my dirty slut, aren't you? Coming and getting fucked while he's out there waiting on you?" He drawled, watching your face as you stared at each other with intensity. "You fucking love it, don't you? Tell me what you are."
"I'm your dirty slut," you moaned.
"Tell me he can't fuck you like I can," he increased the speed, slamming you down onto his cock, hitting your g-spot every time, making you cry out for more.
"He could never fuck me like you could!" You cried. "Please, Alex- please let me cum, I'm so close.."
"Cum for me then baby, only because you probably haven't had an orgasm this good in months.."
It was true, you hadn't. And when your orgasm did hit you, it was like your brain went blank, and all you knew was pleasure. Your legs shook, your head threw back, as he continued fucking you through it. When you looked back at him, he was staring at you like you were the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen in his life.
The sound from him was rough and guttural as his own release came shortly after. He held you for another moment, not really wanting to let go. Because he knew once you opened that door, the feelings of uncertainty would return, you’d be going back to Manchester, leaving him here.
When he set you down, you kissed him again, deeply and slowly this time, then turned to clean yourself up and get dressed.
Once you were both dressed and fixed up, both of you had completely come down from your highs and were left with an emptiness that seemed like it might never be filled.
“I- I have to go,” you said, your voice breaking as you said it. “He’ll be wondering where I am.”
Alex just nodded, wanting to say stop, run away with me. But he didn’t. He let you go, and stood standing in the bathroom, feeling worse than ever before. So much so that when he found the lads again, he fibbed that he was ill, and got the tube home by himself. He got into bed that night without even getting undressed, and lay staring at the ceiling for hours.
watched before sunrise last night and im inspired to write an alex fic with this idea……..

let me know if you like it!
He’d always dreamed of starting a band. Growing up around music, it was a passion that had been nurtured and developed over the years. Himself and Matt would watch the clock in school, yearning for the clock to hit 3pm, so they could race home and learn songs by The Strokes. The band soon materialised as more than a dream, with Jamie and Nick, boys from another school who had answered Alex’s ad on Myspace, coming on board. They practiced for hours in the garage of Alex’s house, covers and a handful of originals. Alex’s dad would scold them for being too loud, but having a passion for music himself, could never quite convey enough anger in his voice, and would walk away from the garage with a smile on his face. He was proud of his son for having a passion.
There was to be no practice today, as they had secured fake IDs, and were going to attempt to get into a club in the town. This made a difference from their usual Friday nights, by stealing their parent’s alcohol, and getting drunk in either the local park or Alex’s garage. They were going along with Nathan, Sean and Stephen, Sean’s older brother in the year above, who was a handy contact to have in that he was 18 and could buy alcohol. Alex had been quite lonely in primary school and early secondary school, only really having Matt to call a friend, so he was glad to be part of a group at this stage in his life, at the grand age of 16. Despite that, he was wary of Stephen, who always seemed to be on the lookout for a way to take the piss out of someone. He liked Sean and Nathan well enough, but really, he would have preferred to sit in the garage and continue practice, and he preferred hanging out with Matt, Jamie and Nick, despite never really seeing Jamie and Nick that much outside of practice. They had nearly mastered the whole album of Is This It, by the Strokes and he was very proud of this.
“Come on mate, it’ll be fun,” Matt nudged him at lunchtime. “Don’t be a downer. Nights like these might end up giving us inspiration for songs, anyway.”
Alex perked up at this. He liked writing, but he had to admit to himself, maybe Matt was right. The best writing does come from one’s own experience. “So, will we have a few beers in the garage first? No music, I promise,” he added quickly, seeing Sean’s raised eyebrows.
“Your dad won’t mind?” Nathan questioned.
“Not so much him we need to worry about,” Alex shrugged. “More my mum. But she doesn’t finish work until 10pm, so we’ll likely be away by then.”
The boys agreed they would ask Stephen to grab them some cans from the local off-licence, before meeting Jamie and Nick. At that point, Stephen came into the canteen with a group of boys from his year, the leader of the pack, a role he seemed to take on in any group that he was a part of. He was tall, broad-shouldered and had a commanding presence that could make even the manliest people feel small. Upon spotting Alex and the rest, a grin spread over his face and he bounded over.
“You lads looking forward to tonight?” He clapped his hands together, before ruffling Sean, his little brother’s, hair. “Clubs are great fun. Lots of drunk girls with low self-esteem looking for a good time, if you know what I mean.”
It was this sort of talk that made Alex wary of Stephen. But he forced a laugh, so as to fit in.
“I think even a monkey would know what you mean,” Matt laughed.
“You would know Matt, the only girls you’ve ever been basically are monkeys,” Stephen boomed. “Let’s hope you have better luck tonight.”
“Can you get us some cans, Stephen?” Sean inquired. “Gonna have a few beers at Alex’s first.”
They exchanged money, Stephen agreeing to call later tonight. Stephen took a seat at the table beside Nathan, and the chat about the club continued. Alex was feeling both nervous and excited, wondering what to do in the event that his fake ID isn’t believed, and also wondering what a club would be like.
Alex could tell Stephen was in a taunting mood, as he glanced around the canteen. Many people were clearing out, getting ready to go to their next classes. Only a few tables remained.
You were sitting at a table by yourself, minding your own business and reading “The Catcher in The Rye.” You were really enjoying it, not minding so much that you were by yourself. You weren’t hated at school by any means, and were pretty friendly with everyone, but you didn’t have a solid group of friends. Sometimes this got you down, but you enjoyed your own company, so you could usually entertain yourself.
Alex watched Stephen’s eyes wander, before they landed on you at the table next to them, a smirk displayed on his face. “Oi!”
You looked up as the light was blocked by Stephen’s broad figure. He was smirking down at you, his expression making you uneasy.
“You know, it’s been said that I can make a girl wet really easily,” he taunted.
You were both confused and disgusted in equal measure, and all you could find yourself saying was, “What?”
“I can make a girl wet really easily. Look.”
And before you could say anything or do anything, water was being poured over your head, all over your book, leaving you completely soaked and your book ruined. It felt like laughter was the only sound that could be heard in the whole world, as you grabbed your stuff and raced from the canteen, tears burning at your eyes.
Alex watched you go, feeling terrible, wanting to run after you and make sure you were okay. But all the lads were laughing, even Matt was chuckling slightly, and he didn’t know what to do. So he laughed as well, not wanting to risk being criticised.
But you were all he could think about for the rest of the afternoon, wondering if you were okay. He didn’t know you that well, the extent of your relationship was that you sat a couple of desks away from him in English. You seemed sweet really, delicately pretty and never saying much, keeping yourself to yourself. Sometimes, when he was bored and his eyes wandered, he could see you underlining lines in your books during class.
You had a double period of English that afternoon. You tried to dry your uniform and hair under the hand dryer. You attempted to do the same with your book but soon gave up and accepted that it was ruined. Despite this, you shoved it in your bag and made your way to English.
Your eyes fell on one of the boys from earlier, Alex, when you entered the class. You could have sworn he was looking at you sympathetically for a split second, but when you looked again, his head was down and his eyes focused on his notes. You sat down, sighing, wishing for the day to be over.
You walked home alone that day, as you always did. On your way home, you spotted the boys from earlier all walking together and laughing. The one who threw the water over you had one of the others in a headlock. You didn’t understand boys, and the ways they acted towards each other with such violence that they claimed was fun. You put your head down anyway, and walked briskly, hoping to make yourself invisible.

Friday night at the club consisted of sticky floors, the smell of sweat, and more drinks than Alex could count. Due to this, Alex spent more or less the whole weekend recovering from a hangover. He hadn’t thought about you all weekend, until Sunday night when you popped into his head out of nowhere. He wondered how you felt after the incident, and hated himself for not saying anything. The book you were reading, The Catcher In The Rye, was one of his favourites. He pictured you, sitting in English class, underlining your favourite lines as you always seemed to be doing.
Over the next week, Alex found that you seemed to be occupying his thoughts more and more. Whether it was guilt or not, he didn’t know, but he found himself watching you every chance he got. The way your hair seemed to fall so delicately over your shoulder as you leaned over your book. The way your chin fit perfectly in your hand as you concentrated during class.
“Alex? Are you listening?”
He was struck out of his daze as his English teacher called on him. Embarrassed, with everyone’s eyes turned to him, he mumbled an apology before determining to put you out of his thoughts and concentrate. Exams were coming up, and between that and band practice, he had enough on his mind.
After English on Tuesdays, Alex had a free period, so he took a walk into the town to take a browse in the music shop. There was an absolutely beautiful Fender Jazzmaster that he loved to spend hours looking at, and tracing his fingers over the strings when none of the staff were looking.
His free period was nearly over, so he left the music shop and started the walk back to school, when the book shop caught his eye. He couldn’t help but wander in for a look, flashes of you passing in his mind. Images of you further cemented in his head when he came across a copy of The Catcher in The Rye, and before he knew it he was at the till, purchasing the copy.
He fished a pen out of his bag, and leaned on the windowsill outside the shop, scribbling a note in the front page. He wrote, “Make sure to underline your favourite lines.” He didn’t sign his name.
When he got back to school, he looked in to the English classroom, seeing that it was empty. It was nearing the end of the day, and as you and Alex both had English first thing tomorrow, he concurred that it would be safe to leave the copy on your desk.
The next day, Alex arrived early to class so that he could both watch for the safety of the book, and see your reaction. Seeing the pleasant surprise on your face made his stomach fill with butterflies.
He felt both afraid and desperate to talk to you, and enraged at the fact that in your mind, you probably lumped him in with the likes of Stephen. He watched you all day in English that day, you seemed to become more beautiful with every passing moment. At one point, you put the end of your pen in your mouth absentmindedly, and he thought he might pass out.
The thoughts were becoming more obsessive every day. Perhaps it was puberty talking, but he started to imagine kissing you, you running your hands through his hair, him grabbing you by the waist and pulling you closer to him. He needed to catch a grip on himself, really. He had barely spoken to you, maybe a few passing words, here and there.
It seemed that Stephen had set his sights on you as his new victim since the day in the canteen. From then on, he made efforts to trip you up, taunt you, shout after you in the halls and in the street. Still, Alex said nothing.
You just hoped that things would be better after school ended. You would go off to university, make new friends, and look back on these school memories and laugh. You comforted yourself with these thoughts. You couldn’t catch a break lately. The only good thing that had happened was the mystery copy of The Catcher in The Rye. You wondered who had gifted it to you. You thought maybe it had been your teacher, but you were too embarrassed to ask and you thought it might lead to questions about what had happened in the first place, which you really didn’t want to get into. You didn’t want to make things worse than they already were.
On a rainy Wednesday, you were walking home, when Stephen pushed past you, making you fall on your knees onto the wet ground. The horrible sound of laughter filled the air again, when it was suddenly broken by an angry voice.
“Hey! What the fuck is wrong with you?”
At first you thought it was directed at you. You turned around, seeing a short and stocky girl with flaming red hair storming towards where you were. Her eyes were furious, but they weren’t directed at you, but at Stephen.
“Where do you get off, Stephen, huh? Pushing a woman? Is there something wrong with you?”
She held out a hand to you to help you up, and you took it, brushing yourself off.
Stephen just smirked, and shrugged. “It was an accident.”
The redhead scoffed. “You were an accident, by the looks of things. Come on,” she turned to you. “Let’s get you cleaned up. My house isn’t far from here.”
It turned out her name was Katie, she was in your year, but you didn’t have any classes with her. She didn’t possess your shy disposition, which you admired. You walked with her back to her house, a small townhouse tucked at the end of the street.
“Make yourself at home,” Katie said, when you went inside. You sat down on the edge of the sofa in the sitting room, feeling incredibly shy.
Katie returned with some cotton pads. “I’ve stuck the kettle on,” she said, passing you the damp cotton pad to dab your knees with. “And I’m starving. Fancy a cheese toastie?”
You followed her into the kitchen after you cleaned up your knees. You didn’t really know what to say, apart from a mumbled thanks, to which she just shrugged and said “Anytime. Those guys are dicks.” You watched her as she assembled the toasties and tea, accidentally brushing the crumbs onto the floor and shrugging again when she noticed.
“So, what’s your name?” Katie asked when she sat down, putting the toasties and tea in front of you both.
You told her, munching on the toastie, not realising how hungry you were. “This is amazing. Thanks.”
“It’s my secret recipe. Cheese and bread,” she joked. “So, you okay?”
“Oh yeah, don’t worry. I’m fine. You know that guy?”
“Cunt from the year above. Picks on the vulnerable, you know the type.”
You just nodded, slurping your tea.
“So, you smoke?”
“Oh, no. I’m okay, thanks.”
“You mind if I do?”
You shook your head, and Katie leaned over the table to pull open a drawer in the sideboard. She pulled out a grinder and papers.
“Is that weed?” you chuckled, under the impression that she had meant cigarettes before.
“Yeah, you wanna try it?”
And from then on, you had a best friend, something you had never experienced. You and Katie walked to and from school together. You smoked weed together after school before her parents got home and listened to Steely Dan. You made more cheese toasties and cups of tea than you could count. You talked about the books the both of you were reading, and swapped them afterwards. You spent every moment not in class or sleeping with Katie. And your parents liked her, and were glad to see that you had a friend.
“If I’d known that him doing those things would have helped me make friends, I would have asked him to start doing it a long time ago,” you laughed one afternoon out Katie’s back garden, passing the joint between the two of you.
“Well, now you have one,” Katie smiled. “I’ve never had loads of friends myself. Though, there are some people I’d like to you meet, I met them down at the skate park. Sometimes I hang out with them and have a drink. One of them is the fella I get weed off.”
You had pictured this guy to be a really scary man, bald with face tattoos and generally unapproachable. His name was Jamie, and he was a year older than you like Katie. When you told Katie how you pictured him, she nearly spat out her tea in laughter. “He’s literally the opposite of that,” Katie laughed. “I think they’re hanging out there today, if you fancy calling?”
“I can’t skateboard.”
“Half of the people at the skate park can’t skateboard. It’s just a place to hang out. I can though,” she added cheekily, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
So you made your way to the skate park, full of graffitied half-pipes and kids with long hair, falling flat onto their knees and then getting back up, unfazed.
“There they are,” said Katie, pointing to a group of two boys and one girl, gathered on a staircase, passing a joint. You made your way over to them and Katie introduced you.
“Hey,” Jamie greeted you. “Nice sticker.”
He pointed to the Stone Roses sticker stuck to your bag. “Oh, thanks.”
“Controversial opinion. Stone Roses self-titled is better than Oasis’ entire discography,” said the girl. “I’m Holly.”
“That’s ridiculous,” Jamie scoffed. “Yeah, they’re good, but they only have that one good album. Oasis have built an empire.”
They continued to bicker, and you found yourself laughing along as Jamie nudged her on the shoulder, telling her to shut up. The teasing all seemed to be in good fun, and you and Katie sat down, the joint being passed to you, as well as a beer.
“Jamie and Nick are in a band,” Katie told you.
“If you can even call it that,” Nick laughed. “We’ve only got a few of our own songs. Alex pretty much wants us to be a Strokes cover band, at the rate he’s going.”
“Plus, we haven’t even had any gigs yet,” Jamie sighed.
“The end of year formal is coming up at our school,” you said, and then immediately regretted it. “But, that might be kind of lame.”
“Might be a good place to do a first gig,” Nick considered. “Think you could get us in?”
“Oh, I have no contacts,” you laughed.
“I might,” Katie shrugged. “I used to be pretty friendly with the girl who is organising it. Emily, she’s called. As far as I know they haven’t got anyone yet.”
***
Over the next few weeks, you ended up spending a lot of time with Katie and her group. They were all really nice, Nick was quiet, Jamie quite cheeky, Holly bubbly and opinionated. You drank and smoked at the skate park, sometimes just you and the girls when the boys were practicing. You found out little bits here and there about the band, what instruments Jamie and Nick played, what type of music they were into, but you hadn’t met the other members yet. You were really hoping to see them play at some point, which is why you were glad when Katie brought news at lunchtime on Wednesday.
“Well, we’ve got the boys in to play at the formal,” she grinned, plopping herself down on the bench next to you. “It didn’t take that much persuading. I think Emily was desperate as she’d blown all the budget on piñatas.”
“That’s great,” you said. You’d been wanting to bring up something with Katie but you weren’t entirely sure how to approach it. “So, have you got a date?”
“Yeah, we both have?” Katie said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “Jamie and Nick. Jamie’s taking you.”
“Oh,” you blushed. “I didn’t realise.”
“Normally I would go stag,” Katie took a bite of your sandwich. “To defy the patriarchy. But, we need a lift there and I figured they’re going anyway to play the gig, so what the hell? So, I asked Nick, because his parents have a seven seater, and Jamie overheard and said he would take you.”
When Alex heard the news that they would be doing their first gig at the formal, he nearly had a panic attack. From then on, it was practice every day, rehearsing The Strokes, The Beatles, The Kinks until their fingers bled. He could barely sleep with fear and excitement. He hadn’t even realised that he hadn’t thought about you in weeks, until Nick said something at practice.
“So lads, we’re taking my dad’s seven seater to the gig. Should be able to fit all the gear in the boot, if not, someone will have to take a guitar in their lap. By the way, we’re bringing dates.”
“Dates? How?” Matt asked incredulously. “It’s not even your school!”
“Yeah, but it is Katie’s,” Nick shrugged. “And her friend. Jamie’s going with her.”
“This is supposed to be a gig! Not a night out,” Alex rolled his eyes.
“Same thing,” Jamie grinned. “C’mon, lighten up. We’ll do the gig and then we can have a bit of fun after, surely? Please tell me that cunt Stephen isn’t going,” he added. “I hate that guy.”
“He’s going with Nathan and Sean,” Matt said. “They all have dates. We were going to meet them there.”
Jamie put his hands out on either side, with his fingertip touching his thumb, in mock meditation. “Can’t let anything ruin the gig.”
The boys all laughed, Nick shoving Jamie playfully. Alex’s mind was elsewhere, though, as you had taken up presence in his mind once again. He was imagining taking you to the formal, how beautiful you would look with your hair pinned back and a flowy dress, your hands around his neck as he slow danced with you, smiling sweetly up at him.
“Oi!” Matt was clicking his fingers in front of Alex’s face, snapping him out of his daze. “What do you wanna do next?”
“Um, let’s do “You Really Got Me”. The Kinks,” Alex mumbled, trying to push you out of his mind.
The day of the formal, you and Katie rushed to your house after school. Katie had left her dress at yours already, a simple black dress that came to her knees, that she was wearing with Doc Martens, claiming that heels were a bitch. You, on the other hand, were going to wear a pale pink dress, also stopping at your knees, with silver heels that your mum had gifted you for the occasion.
“I agree though, heels are a bitch,” your mum laughed as she walked past your bedroom that afternoon while you and Katie were getting ready. “But they do look lovely on you, sweetie.”
“Thanks mum,” you replied, making the finishing touches to your make-up, before turning to Katie who proclaimed herself as useless at make-up, and kept blinking at the wrong times.
“So, when are the boys picking you up?” your mum inquired.
“In like, 5 minutes,” you said, rushing around and piling random stuff into a handbag, while Katie picked up your mascara and stared at it curiously, as if it were going to attack her at any second. You grabbed it and shoved it into your handbag. “C’mon,” you said to her. “We should wait downstairs.”
“Photos!” your mum clapped her hands together happily when you went downstairs. She took a polaroid camera from the drawer, lined you and Katie up against the wall and directed you into different poses, classy, silly, fun, smiley. Before you knew it, Jamie and Nick were at the door.
“The lads are waiting in the car,” Jamie grinned. “Think they’re embarrassed they don’t have dates. You look great by the way,” He added, smiling at you.
You tried to not let your face go completely red as your mum started to include Jamie and Nick in the photoshoot. Jamie seemed in good humour about it though, putting two fingers up behind your head and sticking his tongue out. When the photos were done, your mum gave you a kiss on the cheek and told you to be home for 12.
“I will!” You shouted happily, as you ran down the driveway towards the seven seater, hand in hand with Katie.
Alex and Matt sat in the seven seater, and Jamie was right, they were sort of embarrassed that they didn’t have dates. To be honest, it hadn’t even really occurred to Alex, being so focused on the gig itself. He sat in the 2 back seats with Matt, who was grumbling. “How do those two have dates and we don’t?”
“I don’t k-“ Alex stopped mid-sentence.
“What?” Matt said, following Alex’s eyes, who was staring out the window, his mouth agape. “Wait a second, is that-“
“Yes,” Alex scowled. “Yes, it is.”
He watched as you skipped down the drive, a grin taking up your whole face, hand in hand with the girl who had confronted Stephen that day after he pushed you. Anger bubbled up inside him as Jamie opened the door for you, his hand on the small of your back. He could have jumped over the seats and punched him. Especially, when you got into the car, and saw their faces, your face dropped.
“Oh no, not you,” Katie rolled her eyes.
“What?” Nick laughed, confused.
“These aren’t the guys in your band, are they?” Katie folded her arms.
“Yeah, why-“
“Nothing,” you interjected. “It’s nothing.”
Katie saw your face, and said nothing further. You were looking forward to tonight, and you didn’t want anything to ruin it. You felt amazing in your dress, and Jamie was fun, even though you were certain that this was just as friends. You put your seatbelt on and faced forward, trying to pretend that Alex and the other guy (you thought maybe his name was Matt, he wasn’t in any of your classes) weren’t there. You could feel eyes burning into you, but you just tried to focus on Katie, Jamie and Nick.
It was right that eyes were burning into you, the eyes of Alex. He was staring at you, basically drooling, at the way your hair was styled half-up, half-down, showing your shoulders. He could smell a fruity, flowery scent coming from you that was intoxicating. He could feel himself going into another one his trances, and tried to snap himself out of it. Tonight was about the gig, he needed to focus.
When you arrived at the venue, Jamie took your hand to help you up the steps. Alex could have murdered him, right then and there. He didn’t know why he was getting so worked up, it wasn’t like he really knew you. He’d just found that lately, he’d discovered something magical that he had been too stupid to notice had been there the whole time.
“Okay, well, we’re going to go play our gig,” Jamie said. “See you girls after?”
“I might have to take Katie home early, from the looks of things,” you joked, as Katie pulled a hip flask from her Doc Martens and began swigging it. “Now I know the real reason she wanted to wear DMs.”
You and Katie made your way over to the drinks table (and by drinks, it consisted of lemonade and coke, “mixers” as Katie said). The band made their way to the stage to set up their gear. Stephen stumbled up with Nathan and Sean, clearly already having had too much.
“Well, faggots,” he boomed, a fierceness in his eyes that seemed particularly intense today. “Should we start giving out the earplugs now?”
“Ha-ha,” said Jamie, who had never been afraid of Stephen, despite being smaller, and not as broad. He followed the philosophy that a bully only continues bullying when you don’t stand up them. “Do you have any earplugs by chance? I’ll need them, if you plan on continuing to talk.”
Jamie and Nick shared a look, sniggering. Stephen backed down, partly because he was very drunk, and partly because Jamie’s philosophy was correct. He turned his attention to Nathan instead, getting him in a headlock and dragging him away, towards the drinks table.
The boys finished setting up their gear, and Emily, the girl who organised the formal, introduced them as “Arctic Monkeys”, a name that Jamie had coined randomly the other week. They couldn’t think of anything else, so they got stuck with it.
They played a few Strokes, a few The Kinks (“You Really Got Me” proving to be a good choice, as it got the crowd going), a few Beatles, and 2 originals, “Matt Dave Rock Song” and “Ravey Ravey Ravey Club”.
You watched in admiration. Their sound seemed both really unique, but reminiscent of a sort of garage rock that you had listened to before. Your eyes seemed drawn to Alex, no matter where you tried to look, they automatically moved back to him. He possessed a disposition that appeared both shy and confident at the same time. It was really attractive, and you hated yourself for thinking it, since he was part of a group in school that seemed determined to make your life hell. When you really thought about it though, it was Stephen that was the perpetrator, the only crime Alex and the other boys had committed was laughing. You really were the bigger person, because you started to feel sorry for them, they were probably afraid of Stephen too – who knows what went on behind closed doors with them.
At one point, you and Alex locked eyes, and you could have sworn something in his eyes was trying to tell you something. But, that certainly wouldn’t have been the case, you told yourself. You were being delusional. Besides, you were here with Jamie, even if it was just as friends – Jamie was nice and good-looking, your energy was best spent on having a good time with him, Katie and Nick.
You could see Stephen slumped over a chair in the corner, eyes closed, drool dripping from his mouth, shirt half-buttoned. He looked really stupid, and it pleased you. Maybe you weren’t the bigger person after all.
The band finished their set. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it, but Alex noticed that you and Katie cheered the loudest, his stomach once again filling with butterflies.
“Right then lads, few cans? Katie’s got a free house,” Nick said happily, rubbing his hands together.
“Yeah, for some people,” Alex turned and saw Katie standing beside him, arms folded.
“Aw come on, Kate, they’ll do no harm,” Jamie said. He gestured over to the corner where Stephen had been slumped, where Nathan and Sean were currently trying to haul him up, an arm each. “Plus, looks like the ones we were worried about have got their hands full.”
“Well, all right,” Katie relented. “As long as it’s okay with you?” She turned to you.
“Oh yeah, that’s fine,” you said, just glad that Stephen wasn’t going to be anywhere near.
The crowd filed out of the hall, some couples rolling over each other in bushes, other groups of friends waiting for their lifts. The group consisting of you, Katie, Jamie, Nick, Matt and Alex piled into the seven seater again, and took off for Katie’s. Somehow you had ended up next to Alex this time, and an anxiety seemed to be radiating from him. At one point, Nick turned a hard corner and you nearly fell into his lap.
“Oh! Sorry,” you squeaked, pushing yourself up and fixing your hair.
“No problem,” he said quietly.
Alex was finding it hard to breathe. The perfume from you was right under his nostrils now, and he could barely concentrate. The thoughts were back again, imagining that it was just you and him in the car, you crawling onto his lap and kissing him hard as he ran his hands up your sides. It didn’t help that now he had a perfect view of your legs, fuck they were gorgeous, which kept knocking into his every time the car turned a corner. He didn’t know what the hell was wrong with him, but he knew that whatever it was, he needed to stop it. Maybe if he hadn’t been such an idiot, he could have made a move months ago, before Jamie got there first. He considered asking Nick to just drop him off so he could go home and wallow in his own stupidity. But, before he knew it, they were already at Katie’s.
When you got inside, Katie passed you a Smirnoff ice with a straw and set to rolling a joint. “This weed is way better than that over shit you gave me, Jamie. Make sure it stays at this standard.”
“What, you think I grow it myself?” Jamie laughed. “Take it up with the chief of police.”
“Music?” you suggested, as everyone found a seat. “Steely Dan?” You raised your eyebrows playfully at Katie, holding the vinyl up hopefully.
“I’ll never say no to Steely Dan,” Nick agreed.
You bent over the record player, placing the record on and letting the needle fall, “Do it Again” began playing. You had had some of Katie’s vodka at the formal, and you were starting to feel it. You and Katie started dancing, the joint was being passed round, and you could feel Alex watching you. Usually, you would be nervous of someone watching you, but right now, you didn’t really seem to mind. In fact, you kind of liked that he was watching you. You wanted to portray a different version of yourself to him, and to Matt as well, that you weren’t just some shy girl who could be walked over, and that you had confidence.
Jamie came over to dance with you, taking your hand and spinning you round. You were dancing in front of the record player, and as he grabbed both of your hands to pull you towards him, you were suddenly separated by Alex cutting in between you to get to the record player.
“What else have you got?” He said shortly to Katie.
“Calm down, you’re not Julian Casablancas yet,” she scoffed. “Have a look, the records are underneath.”
Alex chose “The Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd.
“We’re only smoking weed, not acid,” you joked playfully, but he just glared at you. You weren’t hurt though, it may have been the alcohol and the weed, but you were kind of spurred on. If anything, you wanted to annoy him even more. It seemed to be that the more you danced and got closer to Jamie, the more agitated he got. You thought maybe he had a crush on you, you definitely did on him, despite everything. Even if that wasn’t the case, you let yourself enjoy the thought that maybe he did.
So you danced closer to Jamie, and the night progressed. You drank your Smirnoff ice, delicately placing the straw in your mouth, watching Alex shift uncomfortably in his seat as you did so. Jamie was watching you too now, and you giggled at his jokes and placed a hand on his chest, flirting with him. It was fun, you had never really been given this much attention before. Maybe it was getting to your head. You decided to step out into Katie’s back garden for a bit of fresh air by yourself.
You didn’t want to play with Jamie, yes he was good-looking, but he seemed to you as more of a natural friend rather than anything else. After a couple of minutes, he came outside to check on you.
“You okay?” He asked, sitting down on the step beside you.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just needed a bit of fresh air. Getting a bit drunk now,” you laughed, trying not to slur your words.
“Don’t tell me you’ve got the underage drinking blues,” he nudged your shoulder with his. “Come on, this is the type of stuff we’ll look back on when we’re older and wish we could re-live.”
Jamie took out a cigarette and lit it. “Can I have one of those?” you asked.
He handed you one and lit it. You shivered, only wearing your spaghetti strap dress. Jamie offered you his jacket, and you said yes. He was just placing it round your shoulders when the back door opened.
“Oh, sorry-“ Alex said awkwardly, with a tone of annoyance. “Matt and I are going to head. Was wondering if you wanted to walk with us.”
“It is getting a bit late,” Jamie said. You looked at the clock and saw that it was 2am.
“Fuck! I was supposed to be home by 12!” You jumped up, dropping the cigarette and rushing past Alex. “Sorry Katie, I have to go!”
“No point panicking now, you’re already late,” Nick laughed.
“We’re all walking that way anyway, we’ll leave you home,” Jamie said.
“Oh yeah, that’ll look good to her parents, walking with four boys she’s never met before,” Katie raised her eyebrows.
“It’ll be fine,” you said hurriedly, grabbing your bag and giving Katie a quick hug. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
You walked a couple of streets with the band, and said good-bye to the boys, who walked on down the street a bit. Jamie walked you up to the step. “I had a really good time tonight,” he said. “You look absolutely gorgeous.”
“Thanks,” you said shyly, as he reached and placed a strand of hair behind your ear. You looked down to your shoes, but he reached a put a finger underneath your chin, bringing your face up to look at him.
He was leaning in closer to you, and your lips met. It was your first kiss, and you didn’t know what to do, but Jamie led the way, softly running his tongue over your lips, asking for permission to enter. You obliged, letting his tongue massage your own. His hands rested on your hips, while yours made their way up to his neck.
You pulled away for breath, and all you could say was “Wow.” It was great, and Jamie was definitely hot, but a nagging thought in your mind was that you hoped Alex was watching. He probably didn’t even care, but again, you let yourself enjoy the thought of Alex being enraged at you kissing his bandmate.
Alex was watching, and he was fucking furious, there was no other way to describe it. Apparently, Matt seemed to pick up on this, because he said in a concerned voice, “Mate? Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” Alex snapped. “I just-want to get home. It’s fucking freezing out here. If I’d known we’d have to stand here and watch Jamie get some then I would have just gone home earlier.”
“Lighten up, Alex,” said Nick. “You’ll get some too. There’s plenty to go around.”
You went inside, and Jamie walked back over to them, looking very pleased with himself.
“Well?” Nick asked. “How was it?”
“Fucking amazing,” Jamie said, grinning. “Seriously, where the hell has she been? A girl that is that hot and funny and likes good music.”
“Oh, she’s the only girl in the world that likes good music,” Alex scoffed.
“Do you know any?” Jamie asked, shrugging.
“Katie and Holly, to be fair,” said Nick.
“You’ve got a point,” Jamie nodded. “Anyway, let’s get home.”
“Yeah, Jamie’s got a stiffy he needs to sort out,” Matt teased.
“Wouldn’t you have?” Jamie said unashamedly.
Yeah, I would, Alex thought to himself.
***
The next morning, you woke with a pounding headache. You were extremely lucky in that your parents fell asleep before you got home, so you managed to evade punishment for being late. You also felt kind of ashamed of yourself, a feeling that grew bigger over the following summer weeks as you and Jamie seemed to be getting closer, in more ways than one. You enjoyed the relationship with Jamie, he was your first kiss and had also now been your first time, but Alex seemed to be etched permanently into your mind. Also, Jamie would be going to university at the end of the summer, so it wouldn’t make sense to have a relationship with someone who would be moving to a different part of the country. The more you thought about Alex, the more obsessed you became, coming up with all kinds of theories that he had gifted you the new copy of The Catcher in The Rye. After all, he had seen the incident happen and he was in your English class. You tried to deny in your head that it was him, but you couldn't deny the facts.
One day, you, Katie, Holly, Nick and Jamie were hanging out at the skate park, when you asked Jamie if the two of you could talk.
“Listen,” you said, once you’d got him alone. “I’m really sorry, but I’m not sure we should continue whatever it is we have going on. You’ll be leaving soon, and I- well, I’m not sure I’m the right girl for you.”
Jamie sighed. “I thought this might happen. Can’t say I’m not disappointed, but I think you might have a point. Long distance stuff never works.”
You nodded, feeling really bad, but also kind of relieved.
“Though, I’m not sure about the part about not being the right girl for me,” Jamie grinned cheekily. “Yeah, that part I’m certain is incorrect.”
You blushed, staring down at your shoes.
“Gonna miss you blushing like that,” Jamie said. “But, what’s meant to be will be. Who knows what will happen in the future. For now, friends?”
He held out his hand for you to shake. “Friends,” you agreed, smiling.
Jamie and Nick both departed for university at the end of the summer, and that was that. It was weird for Alex, both a blessing and a curse that Jamie was gone. Yes, he knew that you and him had broken off whatever it was that you had going, but it also meant that the band had went into hiatus, and that – he wasn’t too pleased about. Stephen had departed also, to somewhere in Scotland. One thing for was for sure, Alex wouldn’t be making an effort to keep in contact.
In fairness, over the next year, he wasn’t sure that he would have even had time to think about the band with all the homework and revision he had to do. This was their final year, and though the band was his priority, he also wanted to go to university to study English Literature.
The year seemed to fly in and drag in at the same time. By the end of it, the entire year was exhausted. You weren’t sure that you even had the energy to go to Leaver’s Night, as it was called. With everyone now 18, you all went to a nightclub in town to get drunk and celebrate the end of secondary school.
One good thing about the situation with Jamie and the absence of Stephen was that your confidence had greatly increased. You had no qualms about wearing short dresses, skirts, wearing your hair up, anything. Your body had certainly matured into an adult, with your chest filling out and your curves accentuated. For Leaver’s Night, which was fairly casual, you chose a denim skirt and a low-cut top.
Things with Katie were the same as always. You had never known anyone like her, and you were grateful for her friendship every day. You both planned to go to university in Manchester, Katie to study History of Art, and you, English Literature.
“You look HOT!” She proclaimed, as you were both finishing getting ready. “Seriously, if Jamie could see you now, he’d probably shoot himself for leaving.”
You just giggled, but you knew Katie was right. Not only did you look hot, you felt hot. Alex had never made a move on you after Jamie left, so you knew it must have been in your head. Despite this, you couldn’t help but wonder if he thought you were hot. You were pretty much desperate for him to have those thoughts, so you did everything in your power to maintain it, even if it was just in your head. You had purchased black lacy lingerie with flowers embroidered, even though it was likely pointless.
Alex made his way to Leaver’s Night with Matt, Sean and Nathan. He was excited to be finished school, and even more so to reunite the band in London where he and Matt were planning to go to university, and where Jamie and Nick currently were.
He felt like a stalker though, as a big part of his year had consisted of watching you. He continued staring at you in English, and some part of him thought that maybe you knew. For example, you seemed to have developed a habit of dropping pencils on the floor that you never had before, and then bending over in such a way to pick them up that drove him crazy. He also noticed that your skirts got shorter, your perfume stronger, and your lips redder.
He couldn’t stop himself from staring when he saw you in the nightclub. The two of you locked eyes, and you shot him a quick smile before returning to giggling with Katie and sipping your Smirnoff eye through the straw. Fuck me, he thought, Does she always have to drink with a straw?
Alex was determined to get as drunk as possible tonight. After a few drinks, he was certainly feeling it. When he saw you dancing, he was about to make a move, then you started approaching the bar alone. Now was his chance.
He sidled up behind you, placing an arm over your shoulder, his palm flat on the bar. “Pint of Stella please,” he said to the barman. “And a Smirnoff ice. With a straw, please.”
You turned to look at him and he was grinning sloppily at you, clearly a bit of dutch courage seemed to be working for him. “What?” he said. “Isn’t that your drink?”
“Yeah, thanks,” you said. You were a bit drunk yourself, and you felt a flutter between your thighs as his arm remained in the same place, seemingly keeping you there. The drinks came, and you immediately put the straw in your mouth, making sure your lips were pouted.
Alex was looking at you hungrily, there was no denying it. You looked up at him through your eyelashes as you continued sipping through your straw. "Want a smoke?"
He ignored your question. "God, don't look at me like that. You know what you're doing."
"What am I doing?" you asked innocently.
"Oh please, don't act innocent," He leaned towards you, whispering, his breath hot on your ear. "You don't think I've seen you, your skirt getting shorter, bending over to get your pencil, giving me a full view of your ass? Maybe I'm crazy, if I am, then tell me to stop..."
Then he was kissing your neck, your cheeks, and finally your lips. He grabbed you roughly by the waist, like a man who had been waiting forever for this moment, and now that he had finally got it, he couldn't let go. You couldn't help but press your body into him, your hands immediately went into his hair, your fingers grabbing the tips and pulling. You were moaning into his mouth as his hands were applying pressure on your hips, his thumbs pressing deep, you imagined they were leaving bruises. The thought of that, God, it turned you on even more, him leaving his mark on you.
You finally pulled apart. "So, I'm not crazy then?" He grinned.
You shook your head, biting your lip, his eyes burning into you.
"You don't even want to know the thoughts I've been having over the past year," He said breathlessly, his hands still gripping your waist, his property.
"I bet I do," you responded, sipping your Smirnoff ice again. "Only, I don't want them to be thoughts anymore."
That was it for him. "Let's get out of here," he said hurriedly. "I can't wait. My parents are out at some dinner party. They'll not be back for a few hours."
You quickly grabbed Katie, telling her you were going home. "No way!" She pouted. "Holly just got here!"
"I know, but I gotta go. Give Holly a hug from me."
You left with Alex, and got a taxi together. You sat together in the backseat, Alex's hand resting on your thigh, drawing circles on it, driving you crazy. You wanted him to crawl on top of you and fuck you senseless right there, but you had to wait.
After what felt like an age, you finally made it to Alex's house. He fumbled with his keys, got the door open, let you in and closed the door behind him. You stood looking at each other for a moment, Alex's chest heavy, the tension between the two of you insurmountable. Then he moved towards you and pressed you up against the wall, placing his mouth on yours, roaming his hands all over your body. You responded with the same force, grabbing onto his shoulders. Your tongues massaged one another's, greedily exploring each other's mouths. You could feel the heat rising in your belly.
"You don't know how long I've waited for this. Having to see you with Jamie, fuck, it killed me," Alex admitted breathlessly.
"Really?" You replied. "Sometimes I thought you hated me..."
"I could never hate you," he whispered, cupping your face. "Ever. I'm an idiot. I should have stood up for you."
"I know," you conceded. "You should have. But, you did replace my book."
Alex grinned. "You knew it was me?"
"Well, it was never confirmed until now," you said, smiling. "But I had my suspicions."
"I'll never let that happen again," he promised, kissing your forehead, and your face. "I promise. I've hated myself ever since. I'm really sorry."
"It's okay, Alex," you said, putting your arms around his neck. "I forgive you." The alcohol was rising to your head, making you braver than ever. Your lifted your skirt slowly to show the lingerie you were wearing, that you'd put on with him in mind. "This is how much I forgive you. When I put this set on today, I was thinking of you."
"Fucking hell," Alex whispered helplessly, dropping to his knees. "Can I see it all?"
You nodded, pulling your top off and discarding it, him pulling your skirt down, leaving you standing in just the lingerie. He groaned at the sight of you, drinking you in. "I never wanna forget this," he said. "Can I touch you?"
"Yes," you breathed.
He touched you through your panties, where there was a damp spot. "You're so wet, baby. All for me?"
"Yes, Alex," you gasped, as he moved your panties to one side, putting his fingers between your folds and gathering your wetness, dragging it up your pussy to your clit, moving his fingers in circles.
You were a moaning mess. You couldn't believe this was finally happening. You had dreamed about it, all sorts of fantasies, him fucking you in a car, in class - you had no idea he was having these fantasies too.
Before you knew it, his mouth was on you, his tongue massaging your clit slowly. He inserted a finger inside you, then two, dragging them in and out at a maddeningly slow pace, before increasing it, his fingers fucking you quickly. You grabbed his hair, fisting it in your hands, your head lolling back against the wall. His dirty words were turning you on even more, if that was possible.
"You like that, me eating your pussy? Bet you've been thinking about this, haven't you?" His mouth hot against you. "You taste fucking amazing, I could stay here forever."
You were nearing the brink now. "So close, Alex, yes..."
"I love it when you say my name. You don't know how I've dreamt of making you scream it. You gonna cum for me? Come on, let go.."
And you did. Your orgasm hit you like a ton of bricks, your legs shaking, his hands attempting to hold them still. He stood up, his mouth shining, looking very pleased with himself. You could see how hard he was through his jeans, reaching out, you palmed him, earning another groan from him.
"You feel so big," you said, looking up at him through your eyelashes as he stood, looking down at you hungrily.
His hand covered yours, massaging him through his jeans. "See how hard you make me, baby? God, I've been wanting to fuck you for so long, I can't believe this is happening..."
"Me either," you admitted. Come on, say it. Be brave. "I've dreamt of being on my knees for you, your cock in my mouth..."
"Oh Christ. You're gonna make me cum in my pants if you keep saying things like that."
"How about in my mouth?" And you were kneeling down in front of him, pulling his jeans and boxers down, letting his cock spring free. It was as big as it looked through his jeans, you weren't quite sure how it was going to fit inside you, never mind in your mouth. But you went for it anyway, spitting on your hand and moving it through your hand with a fist, before putting it in your mouth and hollowing your cheeks.
"Fuck," groaned Alex. "You're so fucking sexy... just like that."
His hand was in your hair now, making a ponytail, manoeuvring your head back and forth. The hallway was filled with the sound of each other's moans, you hadn't even managed to make it to his bedroom yet. You were gagging on his cock, his sounds and words of encouragement spurring you on, before he pulled you off, and lifted you off your feet, carrying you upstairs.
"Sorry, babe, but you were gonna make me cum. And I really, really wanna fuck you, if you want to."
"Hmmm," you pondered playfully, watching his face drop. "I'm kidding."
"Thank God for that," he said, laying you on his bed. He grabbed a condom from his bedside drawer, rolling it on, before propping himself up on his forearms above you, positioning himself at your entrance. "You sure?"
"Yes," you answered, and he wasted no time. He pushed himself inside you, the stretch was amazing and you threw your head back against his pillow. "Oh my God, yes..."
"Feel good?" Alex grinned. You nodded, barely able to speak, as he started to move inside you slowly. You stared into each other's eyes, the way he was looking at you was like he could devour you in a second.
Then he picked up the pace, slamming his cock into you, watching your face for every expression to memorise. Your eyes were closed, your mouth agape, as he hit just the right spot over and over. His fingers found your clit again, moving in furious circles. You arched your back into him.
"Look at you," he growled. "Can barely control yourself on my cock. Does that feel good?"
You nodded, opening your eyes to take in the gorgeous view above you. His forehead was soaked with sweat, dripping onto you as he bit his lip, staring down at your face like it was the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen.
"Use your words, baby," he commanded.
"Feels so good, Alex," you panted. "I love your cock inside me.."
"Yeah? Better than Jamie?"
"So much better, oh-I'm gonna cum-"
"That's it baby, cum all over my cock."
And you did. Your walls clenched around him, your legs shaking, your head thrown back as he kept hitting that spot and rubbing your clit simultaneously. Your pussy tightening made him groan. "You're so fucking tight, I'm gonna cum."
He followed shortly after you, collapsing on top of you, the both of you breathing hard. After tossing the condom in the bin, he pulled the covers over the two of you, holding you in his arms.
"I can't believe this, I've wanted to hold you like this for so long," he laughed, like he couldn't believe his own luck. "That was like- better than anything I've ever dreamed of."
You giggled. "Me too."
He kissed your forehead, brushing your hair out of your face. "That fucking lingerie... Jesus Christ. You really put that on for me?"
"Well, I never thought you and me would happen, but I just thought, you never know," you admitted.
"You got that right," he grinned. "Can you stay over?"
"Yeah, I'll just call my mum and say I'm staying at Katie's. Will your parents be alright with it?"
"Yeah, they'll be cool."
"Can I use your phone?" you asked, and he agreed, so you both got dressed and went downstairs to dial your mum's number. You left a message, and then went back upstairs, falling into bed together, exhausted.
"I'm so glad you've forgiven me," Alex said, kissing your head gently. "I'm not sure I deserve it."
"Of course you do," you said. "You were like, 16. Don't beat yourself about it."
"It's hard not to," he admitted. "I always wanted to run after you, make sure you were okay. It must have been Hell."
"It was," you said. "But it's all good now. Plus, I'm pretty sure I just went to Heaven in the last half an hour."
You both laughed, Alex wrapping his arms around you. You cuddled until you both fell asleep, feeling safe in his arms, like you should always have been there.
