#SoundWin AU with Win being a thief specialized in pickpocketing, who doesn't really have a place to stay/call home, sleeping in random different places
And Sound is still the guitar player of the Chinzillas band
One day Win tries to rob Sound but Sound catches him
After getting into a scuffle they call truce, with Sound offering to treat Win's wounds
They flirt a little and end up kissing, and Win spends - innocently - the night at Sound's apartment
When Win wakes up, he disappears without a second thought, leaving a disgruntled and genuinely pissed Sound behind
Except he ends up getting that second thought, and even a third, and somehow by the end of the next day he's in front of Sound's door
And Sound really should just close the door on his face but he happens to really enjoy Win's company
So Win starts spending the night at Sound's place, and gradually they get less and less innocent, to the point where Win starts referring to Sound as his boyfriend
But since he refers to him as such only in his head, Sound is convinced Win is still treating him as a casual hook up, so he establishes a single rule : when Sound's friends - Chinzillas - come to visit him, Win can't show up to his house
This creates miscommunication, as Win is convinced Sound is ashamed of him, while Sound simply doesn't want to explain to his friends why he has completely and utterly fallen in love with his one multiple-nights stand
This works for a while, until one night Win is lightly stabbed on the arm, and makes his way to Sound's apartment, only to see from the window two people making out in Sound's room
And he wishes he could control his anger but despite never having really verbalized their situation, he won't let anyone try to seduce Sound and steal him from the thief in charge
He starts climbing the fire escape staircase to get closer to the scene, but accidentally opens the window very loudly and startles the two people inside...both of which end up being NOT Sound
The same people, after a moment of genuine surprise, finally catch up with the scene and start yelling for someone to call the police, except everything quiets down when a livid Sound appears in his own bedroom and just tell the others to go in the living room
Win is genuinely apologetic and tries to not anger Sound further, which completely backfires once Sound takes one look at his arm and looks ready to stab the other himself
"Why aren't you in the hospital right now"
"It's not that deep, I wanted to use the first kit aid, but I completely forgot you were having your friend over tonight..."
Sound still looks mad but less murderous when he all but orders Win to get in the bathroom, before taking the first kit aid and starting to dress the wound
Win feels incredibly stupid but can't stop wishing he could just walk in the adjacent room where the whispers haven't stopped since he appeared, just to tell everyone that he's crazy in love with Sound and wants them to be a couple for real
While in the meantime Sound knows that he will have to come out to his friends and tell them he's fallen head over heels for a man who's interested only in something casual while Sound spends restless days only waiting for him to show up
Sound works silently and efficiently on the wound, before taking a deep breath
"I'm leaving with the band for a six month tour" and he adds, almost as an afterthought "you can use the apartment if you need"
Except why would Win use the house, if Sounds is not there? He's been alive and on the streets for long enough to know how to survive even without a roof on his head
"Why would I come here if you're not around" there's a pause, as Win tries to control the emotion in his voice "please don't go anywhere I cannot follow"
Suddenly Sound's breath hitches, almost as if he can't believe the other man's words
"what are you saying, Win"
Win takes both of Sound's hands in his, while looking at him deeply in the eyes
"I know you're ashamed of being seen with me, but that's fine, you know I can hide well, I just don't want you to leave this, to leave us behind"
"I'm sorry what---I'm not---how could you---" Suddenly Sound his up and pacing in the bathroom "How could you think I'm ashamed of you, I've asked you multiple times to move in with me---"
"I didn't want to put you in danger with my lifestyle---"
"And to get your ass back in here at least once before sunset ---"
"I didn't want to be in your way while working----"
"All this time I've been trying to make you part of my life, but you decided time and time again you wanted to stay on the sidelines---"
"I didn't want to ask you more than you were already giving to me---"
"And now I get accused of being ashamed of being with you??"
Win bowes his head, trying to make himself small
"You said you didn't want me to meet your friends..."
"Because I didn't know what I was supposed to tell them! Because it might surprise you, but trying to explain you've fallen hard and deep for a thief who only appears in the dead of the night to steal your heart, body, soul and breath away, makes you sound like you're crazy or addicted to fabricating elaborate lies!"
Sound tries to calm down after his outburst, but can't control the tears leaving his eyes
"I don't want to be your every-night-stand anymore, Win. I want to be you boyfriend"
"But you are" Win is fast to get closer to Sound, hurrying to wipe his tears away "I've been referring to you as my boyfriend for the longest time, even when talking to some of my acquaintances, that's why I went completely crazy when I thought you were kissing somebody else..."
Sound seems surprised by the confession, but also thoughtful
"Are you sure you saw two people kissing? Those were my bandmate Por and our manager Tiw, they just mentioned they needed to discuss some matters in private--- but that's not important. Tell me again what I am to you?"
Sound is finally smiling brightly, and Win can only match his enthusiasm
"My boyfriend" a small peck on the lips "My smart, beautiful boyfriend" another peck on the lips "My feisty, strong-willed boyfriend" another peck, followed by some giggle "I'll never let you go too far away from me..."
(Win finally gets introduced as the boyfriend, to the greatest joy of Gun, who was the only one who knew the truth and had been forbidden by his best friend to utter a single word to his own boyfriend Tinn.
Win also figures out pretty quickly that Tiw and Por are hiding their relationship from the others and agrees to keep the secret only if Tiw guarantees him a spot on the tour bus and at every single concert venue.)
