hi!! i just wanted to say i think your reddie hcs/works are always so cute and i wanted to offer you one of my own!! so i think richie is kinda bad about keeping up with a regular shaving schedule so sometimes his stubble is really grown out. it’s usually not that big of a deal but eddie’s particularly sensitive (yes sensitive, because eddie kaspbrak is not ticklish!!) and richie knows this so he’ll be a jerk and target eddie’s weak spots like his neck or ears getting eddie all riled up and yelling at him to stop (yes yelling, because eddie kaspbrak does not squeal and giggle!!)

omg!!!! thank you so much this is so sweet!!!! i know i haven’t posted any writing or anything in quite a while but it makes me so happy to know that my hcs are still being enjoyed 🫶🫶🫶

BUT AAAAAHHHHH I LOVE YOUR IDEA SM!!!! and i definitely agree 🙌🙌 richie only shaves when he remembers to which isn’t often and he’s used to that like ……… not mattering at all when he was single but now that he’s dating eddie…… well now his lack of a consistent shaving routine actually affects someone LOL

i can for sure see them cuddling in bed and richie sleepily nuzzles his face against eddie’s neck ……. which immediately wakes eddie up as he feels SANDPAPER SCRATCHING AGAINST HIS NECK AND HOLY SHIT RICHIE SHAVE IT OFF meanwhile richie is just giggling pretending like he doesn’t know what he’s doing……

i can also imagine eddie being at a sort of dilemma himself and like, he thinks richie looks hot when he has that sort of messy unshaven stubble look…….. but he still hates it because again. the aforementioned sandpaper against his neck.

AAAHHHH tysm for this ask, i really love this hc for them!!!! richie being a menace will always be my favourite……… and it was nice to talk about my beloved reddie again for the first time in a while :’)

“My name is Richie Tozier, I live in Derry, Maine, it’s December nineteenth, 1990, I just probably just became the laughing stock of the entire neighborhood because I thought that putting up Christmas lights in a damn snowstorm would be a good idea, and…” He forced himself to look the other man directly in the eyes for the first time. “And you’re Eddie Kaspbrak, my neighbour.” Except, he wasn’t just ‘Eddie Kaspbrak, Richie’s neighbour’. He was Eddie Kaspbrak, Richie’s funny and helpful and sweet and ridiculously attractive neighbour. He was Eddie Kaspbrak… who Richie had slowly been developing a little (well, maybe not so little, he thought as his palms grew sweaty and the butterflies in his stomach went wild) crush on ever since Eddie had moved into the neighborhood three months earlier. And now, Richie was lying on his couch. * * * a holiday fic where richie has a little accident putting up his holiday decorations, and eddie comes to his rescue! it should be as simple at that, but things become a little bit more complicated when a blizzard gets them snowed in.

i was reading through your ghost! eddie prompts and couldn't help but think what about ghost! richie and a scenario I wanted to share with you it's inspired by an anime I watched years ago so in this ghost! richie scenario(no pennywise btw), Richie died at 13 and was reported missing yesterday before the police found his body near the quarry, the losers upon learning Richie's death are absolutely devastated cuz prior to Richie going missing they were joking around as usual until someone ask Eddie if he likes Richie which Eddie denies as them just being normal friendly banter and frustratingly ran back home home not knowing Richie ran after him and just so happens Eddie got the phone call about the police finding Richie's body so yeah Eddie is the most affected of the bunch and is completely denied about it until he decides to shut himself off and the losers slowly drifted away as result, 4 years passed Eddie has become a workaholic and a loner focusing on schoolwork, his part time job and become addicted to his meds even more than before avoiding the losers as well until one day as Eddie was finishing his project a voice chimes in "man this sure sucks balls eds" and Eddie being sleep deprived was like cut it off ri- he glance at the corner of his eyes and his heart stopped cuz standing next to him was Richie still wearing the same clothes and the big ass glasses he died in but something was different he was taller not the height he once remember and appears at the same age as him if he was still alive so yeah Eddie thought he was tripping because of his meds before accepting that Richie is really here and he needs help moving on so the rest of the story is Eddie and Richie figuring out the bucket list on what to do and realizing their feeling along the way some angst and shenanigans happens the losers joins in as well😃

i don't exactly remember which post about ghost!eddie prompts i made but im so happy it inspired this ask because AAAAHHHH i love ghost aus so so much and im always down to hear about more ideas :]

i love this idea so much already, im so intrigued by what happened to richie, oh and the fact that the last thing that richie did before he died was chase after eddie 😭😭😭 and that eddie's last memories of richie were embarrassment and frustration from being teased about his feelings for richie, AAAHHH 💔💔💔 that's so sad but i do love the angst

but i like that richie found eddie again as a ghost!!!! i'd be interested to hear more about what happens once eddie accepts that richie is actually here, and what's involved on their bucket list and what they do once they realize their feelings.... AH i love ghost aus so much and this idea sounds so good thank you anon for this 🙏🙏 and again..... so sorry for taking forever to respond 😭😭

thoughts on phan canon?

ohhhhh my......... where do i even begin to articulate my thoughts on phan canon.

well first of all i started crying about 30 seconds into the video and cried pretty much the entire way through and then cried for some time after i finished. so that's that.

honestly what i feel the most is just...... happiness, not necessarily about the fact that "it's canon", but that they.... ACTUALLY confirmed it??? that they actually made a video about it??? and again im not necessarily happy because they confirmed it, im just so incredibly happy and proud and relieved that they finally felt comfortable and safe enough TO tell the public about their relationship. i guess i always thought that that particular bridge between the phandom and dan and phil had already been burned, that the phandom had just violated their privacy and overstepped their boundaries far too much over the years for dnp to ever confirm anything, so the fact that they have forgiven their fans after everything they've had to deal with and STILL decided to share this with us is just so..... oh my god i love them so much.

it honestly still doesn't feel real 😭 like for the past week i've just been going about my day as normal and then all of a sudden i'll remember PHAN CANON and it makes me so emotional because oh my god what do you mean they ACTUALLY confirmed it 💔💔 i've been watching dan and phil since like 2011/2012 and confirmed phan is something i never in a million years thought would ACTUALLY happen.......

i do have a lot of feelings about the whole thing and it's kind of hard to describe, yeah mostly i just feel so happy for them, so proud of them, and like almost protective of them lol i just wanna wrap them up in a big hug 😭😭😭

it mutuals and it fandom just coming on here to say i miss you. im sorry im not posting on here that much. other fandom is taking up my brain space and not letting me think about anything else but just wanted to stop by and say that i still love you all and that im still lurking in clowntown looking at ur posts and stuff even if im not posting myself. dont worry reddie are still happily living in my mind they've just been getting a long deserved rest after i tortured them with my hcs on this blog.............. they're getting a break while i torture some other gay people for now.........

It Fic Library Comment Fest 2025

Hi everyone! Mod Richie here. Mod Vichael and I are super excited to announce that the library will be holding a comment fest event starting today and ending in November! 

As of this post, there are over 124 pages of fics in the IT (Stephen King) fandom tag, and over 130 pages of fics in the IT (Movies) fandom tag with no comments. Let’s get those numbers down! 

How to participate

To participate, simply read IT fics and comment on them! When you’ve done so, make sure to fill out the quick form here (link)!

When you fill out the form, your points will be counted by us, and compiled at the end of each month into a leaderboard!

There will also be three bingo boards released per week, through which you can get extra points! See the rules below for more info on them! 

If you don’t know what fics to read, we’ll be posting several short rec lists each week, so keep an eye out for those!

Feel free to shoot us a message or an ask if you have any questions!

You can only count comments left between 29/09 and 30/11! 

Only comments on IT fics count for this fest! 

Any comments on IT fics are valid, the fics don't have to have zero comments, but we encourage you to spread the love!

i saw a video the other day of a guy on a walkway beside this canal thing and the caption was "fake proposing to my gf every time a tourist boat passes by" and each time he would do it the ppl on the boat would obviously cheer and stuff and it's silly but then the NEXT video was "fake proposing to my gf in front of the tourist boat but this time she says no"

and so he gets down on one knee and pretends to propose and the ppl on the boat start cheering but then the girlfriend starts rejecting him and trying to walk away but the guy tries to stop her and you can hear everyone on the boat quickly quiet down and just go "oh......." while this guy just got fake rejected and made me laugh like a lot and also. made me think of richie and eddie doing that for fun like richie is always doing bits like that "fake proposing to eddie to get a free dessert" "fake proposing to eddie to get a hotel room upgrade" but one time he and eddie were walking and richie saw this boat approaching and he said "hey wouldn't it be funny if i pretended to propose to you rn." and so they do it and they get a good reaction and find it funny so they add "in front of boat" to their list of "fake proposal situations". every once in a while eddie says no just to spice things up like now, in front of the boat, where there's no real consequences but now they've just made the atmosphere on that boat real awkward. also richie and eddie do this having already been married for years.
