Blue
The blues sucking me in the melancholy
A melancholy of chaos, of joys unknown to me
A world as cold as ice that freezes everything it faces
And a world as warm as a strand of some light
Travelling alone from a distance, burning the way
The blues encompass the world in their grasp     Â
A color misunderstood in a thousand right ways.
Firefly
For she was the firefly
Loved the fire burning bright.
Always Dreamt a lit world’s dream
Always Woke up with a loud scream
For in hers it always went dark
Way before the dreams could park
Itself on the edges of reality.
She dreamt again opening eyes pretty.
And it would just go on and on
Till luck played its twisted charm there on
She was blown away to a world so bright
Light would penetrate through eyes shut tight.
But not fire lit these giant points of teasing hopes
These were hurting electrical pricking ghosts
Fallen in love and shattered by the shock
She soon realized the game in which she was caught.
Hurt by the millions of what she loved
She saw her world falling when it trembled.
Soon she missed the small fire lighting a small world
She looked for a known hug and a comforting word.
Finding none she ran and ran looking up the sky
For the stars had stayed even when the fire went by
And she couldn’t see a single twinkling delight
They had all been engulfed in this ever hungry light
She screamed and cried calling them names
Deep within, she knew that it was one of their games
Never could she have been so badly wrong
This was not a game; all of them had really gone
Now all she wanted was the dark black night.
The stars had gone and the fire had died...
An impromptu trip to Kune Mission happened last weekend where a bunch of us were taken to this small society in Lonavala. The deserted place gave a strange feeling of eerie environment and yet when the night came in, It couldn’t have been more peaceful.
The interesting structure of the Church which was closed down didn’t give us a chance to go in, but the stairs in front of it  was the area were most of us sat  and discussed our time in the college while some immersed themselves into the tunes of their favorite song.
The dark afternoon in the lunch room was a lazy one where most of us just wanted to laze around and just be there.
The verandah was filled with chairs were we had a soothing session of Indian clasical music, an entire and unexplored genre which calmed everyone down.
The backyard was the green place which shined brightly due to the blazing sun, it did gave chance to the couples to have a moment with the beautiful view.
As the heated noon turned into cooling evening, the view became more soothing and beautiful, the busy life on the highway was visible from this strangely isolated place.
As the sun decided to bid us goodbye for the day, some of us resigned from the entire day’s session and just enjoyed the moment where the day ended and the night began: looking at the busy lights on the other side and thinking a time would come to return there.
Kune Mission Memories. A day before exam kinda morbid adventure. #studytour, #college, #Anupictures
