👀 who in your family are you closest with?
It takes her some time to think of a response.
❝ Truthfully? ‘Tis difficult to say. I caused many a problem in Anor Londo. As such, interactions with mine siblings are… fleeting. I fear they see me as a mere acquaintance. ❞
A pause, punctuated by a sigh directed towards theclouds.
❝ Yet they are family still, and they each hold a high position in mine heart. But I suppose… I am closest to my father. ❞
👀 some say you're your father's favorite, do you feel that's true?
She bites her lip, fingers grasping mindlessly at her longsleeves, as if it will eliminate her discomfort.
❝ ‘Tis difficult to say. I know little of father’s relationship with mine siblings… for many a reason. So… Nay, I do not think that is the case. ❞
Send me a “👀 + a question” and my muse has to answer honestly!

I don’t want him to become a memory.
I loved him dearly. He was real and I loved him dearly.//E.M.//8 words #98 (via emotionalmarigolds)
bound-by-golden-wings:
Ornstein held his head up with pride and once the Princess stood before him, gave her a long and deep bow. A soft smile formed on his face, but would be impossible to notice with the amount of armour he had going on.
“Princess Filianore! At long last we can finally meet again. My travels were peaceful, I saw a great deal of the world and met all kinds of new people’s. Even managed to kill another dragon for my collection.” He replied and although he had a fondness of collecting the heads as trophies, it never was because he was killing dragons for sports. “I hope Smough did a good job watching Anor Londo? Not like, I don’t believe in him. He knows what to do.”
❝ Oh, that sounds wonderful! I do hope father will allow me to accompany thee someday. ‘Tis far too uneventful, being cooped up within these walls... ❞
Perhaps her honesty towards the subject was uncouth, for one in her position; she had yet to take it seriously. The Dragonslayer’s words brought sparkles to the princess’ eyes, and her childlike admiration for the golden knight voiced itself in brief, sweet laughter.
❝ Mm, of course. Smough is every bit as capable as thee. He is a fine guardian... I tried not to cause him too much trouble. ❞

Silence was a rarity when it came to the young princess. Her hotblooded nature and occasional childish outburst had long since given her a less than favorable reputation; rarely did she see eye to eye with the courts, and, less often than she liked to admit, her own family.
The prospect of a long and dreadful sleep, however, would surely be enough to calm the shortest of tempers. The gravity of her task had yet to settle. If anything, Filianore felt as though she would soon be tossed away and left to rot.
But Gwyn wouldn’t allow that, surely.
Filianore trudged through moonlit halls, head hung low as if in defeat, paying little mind to her surroundings. The glow of white skirts drew her attention upwards. Her lips parted in surprise.

litatio:
Despite his status as Lord of Sunlight, Gwyn had his darkest expression yet upon his face.
[“Yes, My Dear Filianore. You won’t be sleeping for a terribly long time I’d say- you will be seeing my face again before you know it.”]
His generally grim looking expression could say otherwise- but he would rather die than spill his thoughts on the matter.
He opened up his arms in what looked to a a request for embrace, and gave his best attempt at a smile.
[“Come here.”]
It’d taken countless centuries for the princess to mature, perhaps, but she was no fool; her father’s stormy expression sent waves of fear through her. She attempted to ignore it, and simply relish in the dwindling time she had to spend with him. He was her father. He would not simply leave her to rot.
His open arms brought tears to her eyes. Biting her lip, she leaned into Gwyn’s chest and fought to ease her emotions.
❝ I-I am... Afraid. That I may never see thee again. What if I never wake...? ❞
ersatzsun:
Ah, to be that young and hotblooded again… Gwyndolin had thrown many a fiery tantrum in her youth (not that she was old, mind you), but as she’d grown into adulthood she’d learned to reign her anger in, hone it into ambition and determination. She follows Filianore’s shouting to her bedroom once her father has stormed off, softly knocking. “Fili… What’s the matter, dear? Would you like me to come in and listen?” Gwynevere was so busy these days, as was she herself, but someone had to be around for the poor girl to talk to.
Her elder sister’s voice startles her, prompting her to bolt upright in bed and wipe the tears of frustration from her cheeks. Sniffling, she slides onto the cool tile floor, hesitant.
❝ Gwyndolin... Um, if-if thou wishes, then yes. Thou may enter. ❞
Slender fingers run through her dark, tangled hair, and she sends a quick glance at her skirts. She may as well appear somewhat dignified in front of her sibling - not that it mattered, at that rate.
