Heyyy guys! As many of you probably know, AAC comes in many different forms.
One popular form of no tech AAC are called communication cards. communication cards cost money though, and you can diy them if you have the right materials, and i bit of help if you need it. (my grandma helped when i made mine) anyways, there are lots of ways you could make communication cards, but for now im just going to post a little of phrases that are good to start with on your communications cards, and you can add more as needed.
here’s the list of phrases i thought were good to include, becuase when u started making mine, my brains sort of froze and couldn’t think of anything. it’s taken me awhile to refine this whole list, and took lots of trial and error to find out phrases that i might need in the moment, so having a starting point might help, and i love to help people out!

And if you can't/don't want to pay for the extra space, sites like File Garden and Catbox let you host files for free that you can easily link into NeoCities pages (I do this to host videos on mine!) (It also lets you share files NeoCities wouldn't let you upload for free anyways, this is how I upload the .zip files for my 3DS themes on my site.)

if y'all were for some reason what the fuck all these ao3 reblogs were about i was fuckin around with skins and needed ✨️inspiration✨️ and ✨️code bases✨️ and heres the result of like 2 days of fuckin around (one full day spent om that fucking permablock skin 😐 90% of it is blocking ai tags)
this is a super simple site skin that’s slightly more than just a recolor. i originally set out to create a skin that would get rid of that darn muted users notif and then found myself procrastinating fic writing by customizing a site skin lol
it should be fairly simple to recolor if you like the look but don’t want the pink (or cream), however, the icons are linked images and therefore a set color. so if you’re wanting to change that, the source code uses gray icons so you could refer there (linked below), or you’ll have to upload your own icon images and change the urls accordingly.
other features besides recolor:
-hides “you’ve muted users” notif (ty @ao3commentoftheday for sharing how to do that!)
-changes work stat labels to icons (code from @ao3skin, specifically Tide)
- makes buttons flat (ty to @ao3skin again for sharing how to this!)
