"An actual butcher and not like, off a guy you found off on the side of the road?" He hates that he has to clarify. "And I'm not sure . . . she's never gone after any of the barn animals, but I have seen her eat a demonic and something that looked like a sentient lawn gnome before, so she does eat."

"Wow, did you hear that, Shelbs?" Sam tilts his head to stare at something that isn't there. It's about at waist level. "She'll just hang out around back and if you have any customers who can see her and ask, you can just tell them she's a fae-dog. Folks seem to be much less wary of them than hellhounds, though they sure as hell shouldn't be."

she's learned to take a very non-intimidating form which is kinda a fat shiba but scaled up to the size of a wolf

sam accidentally manifested her when saying no one was allowed to be king of hell ever again

because this is a dog manifested by a mentally ill sam winchester, she is very anxious and is hell's least functional hellhound

she wants approval very bad

Sam doesn't want to say the Spot is an inherently magical place, but it's an inherently magical place and the solstice might light it up like a beacon. "I didn't know you liked her . . . did she do something?"

"I don't think the summer solstice is anything ya' need to worry about, maybe the fall equinox when the veil starts thinning? Shiloh might start seeing or interacting with some more things, but no, not tomorrow. I don't see any reason why tomorrow would be different from any other Sunday. "I hope you're not here for the biennial summer solstice witches gathering, the hostess of which has passed—probably—I, uh . . . inherited her property . . . and I really didn't discover it was a whole event until yesterday." Sam had found out from a very confused and irritated harpy as she attempted to disembowel him. Fortunately, any misunderstanding that he'd murdered Rowena to take residence in her unsettling compound has been cleared away and she's currently in his hayloft either sending out a much needed newsletter or opening a door to a lesser plane. Ideally, it's the former. / @wavrlynatural
