※ the missing eye in her previous design was a leftover feature from an even older, outdated, concept and it doesn't have an in-universe reason to be that way, so it's removed for the time being while i rethink that part of the lore

ok i'm not sure how long this title will stay for but i'm hoping it's good enough to stick in my mind. it almost sounds cliche / basic? but i chose this title because i think it fits the vibe and theme of the story. maybe not so much the "haunted house" part but you'll get it once you know. now time to update my tags..........

ooh i have one!! this is skyen (they/he)!! my favoritest boy (they're nonbinary but you get the point)

the drawing is vaguely based on their backstory (and also a song lyric lmao), but lowkey,, his gender is the least interesting part of the lore ngl. their story is themed around inadequacy, in more ways than one. they're never good enough to be wanted by most people, including their parents. but since they don't go through physical trauma or anything generally considered "major" they don't really get help because people don't believe they've suffered bad enough.

have i told y'all about the club house rewrite here? i mentioned it on the ask blog but for those who maybe aren't following it i'll say it here anyway. now the plot is basically that a teenage friend group (the 4 oldest "club members" are all high school aged now) visit a "haunted" house to find out what's going on with it. this does mean that the name "club house" no longer fits anymore so i have to rename it. which i haven't got around to doing yet. sigh.
