Lola laughed as he took her hand and nodded her head. “Oh, I love superheroes but I think pirates is more fun. Right?” She giggled, skipping a little as she tugged him a little further away so they wouldn’t be found. “But you can choose, it’s your game!”

He was almost bouncing up and down now, clearly happy - clearly excited at the idea of playing, “They is both super duper - fun.” He happily follows her, a little laugh bubbling from him, “We can plays pirates today - we gotta get our swords firsts - so we can protects our treasures from bad guys!”

Lei smiled gently down at him and she nodded. “Sure. We can play a game.” She said. Lei didn’t have much experience with children but he was cute and she didn’t want to end up making him cry or whatever. “What games do you like?”

Levi wiggled around, his eyes darting around them before smiling back at her, “All kinds’a games - specially fun games! I makes up lots and lots of games - they is super duper fun. Does you like pirates? Ands Sup’aheros? Or - or we can be knights - they fight dragons!”

Lola smiled. That was more her thing anyway. Messing around. Playing games. All this work shit was doing her head in. That and well the kid clearly needed some cheering up. “Of course. Do you have any favourite games?”

Levi was already feeling better, his young mind easily distracted from what he was worried about before. His head nodded quickly, small hand reaching out to grasp onto her own, “I has LOTS of most favourite games - they are real fun too! Do you knows how to play sup’aheroes orrrr pirates?”

Lola found the little boy and couldn’t help but laugh. ”Well, how about we find a game to play instead?” She asked, though she knew technically she should be taking him to get his medicine from someone.

“Games is good!” He happily latched onto the idea, although almost anything would have worked - as long as he didn’t have to get his medicines. He still didn’t know WHY he even needed it, he didn’t feel sick no more. “Can it be a fun game?”

“Well, okay… since it’s not like Lei could force him and he’d ran away from the doctor. She could tell them where he was but that felt mean, he was so little. “What do you want to do instead?”

Levi blinked, peering back at her curiously when she didn’t tell him anything else. Most of the adults would try and take him back to the doctor, “... can we play a games? I like games!” He quickly spoke up, maybe this adult wasn’t a meanie like some of the others.

“Well I think I’m supposed to,” Lukas said. “Because I know medicine isn’t very nice, but bad things can happen if you don’t take it. I know a really nice nurse though, and she’ll make everything better…”

“But...” Levi mumbled, already feeling upset again, “Don’t want no nurses OR doct’ars.. they is mean!” Although he had now been here for awhile, the fear he still had because of being brought here with a doctor was not gone. He still thought of it as part of the doctors fault he couldn’t see his Daddy and his sister.

“Well luckily for you, I’m not in charge of giving medicines,” Lukas smiled, crouching so he was level with the child. “Unluckily for you, this is a staff only area and you’re gonna have to find another place to hide.”

Levi’s eyes widen as he is spotted, by a staff member - “Uh-oh...” he murmurs and shakes his head, blinking back up at him, “Is you gonna tells on me?” Levi’s head tilts, a little suspicious even as he is already trying to think of another hiding spot.

“But then in the end it will make you feel all better.”

“Don’t wants it.” He firmly stated, lips pressed together as he shook his head, “It makes me feel ickies - med’cine supposed to be GOOD not bad!”

Rogan did a double-take when he saw the little kid hiding in a rather obvious spot. Smiling lightly, he crouched and asked what he was up to, his heart pounding in his chest as he remembered finding Jeremey hiding once in a rare show of fear. “Your medicines make you feel icky, huh?” he sighed and held out his hand, “I bet we can make them give us some ice cream after, would that make it any better?”

It was hard to find super-good hiding spots here, all the real good ones were outside or in places he wasn’t allowed to go. But he did his best, a firm pout on his face as he peers up at the older male, giving a firm nod at the first question, “super-duper icky!” He added before frowning, “I likes icecreams... but foods are icky after medicines my tummy gets icky..”

Levi wasn’t particularly happy as he darted off, quickly he found a hiding spot and had been there for roughly twenty minutes. To Levi it felt longer until he was spotted by someone, quickly he spoke up - his nose scrunching as he answered why he was currently hiding, “I don’t wanna get my medicines - it makes me feel icky.”

Emelie hoped he didn’t say anything important and she’d miss it but she kept her eyes on him, finding this game pretty fun and cute. “Nope..” She shook her head, pretending to look slightly wary. “Have you?” She wondered, keeping her voice hushed.

Levi was more excited by the fact that he had someone new to play with, to try and beat this dragon with! Than the fact that they might not hear all he was saying, he talked a lot when excited - at least his daddy said that a lot, He shook his head, thinking for a moment before answering her question, “Nopes! But I gonna one day, I gotta be strong and braves and carefuls.” He pointed out, smiling happily back at her, “Maybe we can do it togethers.”

Emelie grinned. It was cute and she didn’t have a problem playing along. Kids were pretty great, she just hoped she’d be able to keep up and not tire. She kept her gaze on him so she didn’t miss a word and nodded, pretending to hunch over a little. “Okay…” Her voice lowered, smiling still. “Let’s go…”

Levi was moving around, carefully moving as he kept an eye out for the ‘dragon’, occasionally glancing back, a wide smile on his face as he saw she was playing still. “Has you beaten any dragons a’fore?” He questioned carefully, still keeping his voice low - his eyes alert. He was gonna find this dragon!

Tic bounced up to his feet - something like a karate artist who was laying on his back one second and on his feet the next. He crouched down near the young boy, his own sword at the ready as he slowly creeped along the path. “So we have to be very quiet then,” he whispered in agreement, pretending as if he were hunting down animal tracks. “We don’t want the dragon to see us before we see it, yeah?”

Levi was having a blast, he always loved to play ‘pretend’ - grand adventures and fighting dragons, superheros was his favorite of course but being a brave knight was a lot of fun. It made him feel less afraid, not that he was going to tell anyone else though - no, he was brave! His head nodded, a finger going to his mouth as his other hand clutched his ‘sword’ “Super quiets... if dragon sees us it will burn us with the fire from its mouth!” His eyes were wide as he looks around, little nose scrunched slightly as he thinks, “We gotta be smarts!”

“Dragons eh?” He grinned and proceeded to pick up a random stick from the ground. “Lead the way.”

“Uh-huh. Dragons are big - but strong and super duper sneaky.” He nodded seriously, watching as the other picked up a stick - er.. sword. “We gotta keep watches, make sure no dragons gets to here and hurt our friends!”
