I’m a broke college trans guy of color, and I’ve been relying mainly on scholarships and financial aid for the semester. Any money I had saved up from working during my highschool year was sucked dry during my first school semester.

This winter while I stayed at my parents house I was planning on getting a job, so I could save up during the break so I could have a head start on my finances for next year. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a job. I tried all the chain stores, retail, and even tried to get my old job back but none of them gave me a call back. I go back to school in roughly 10 days with -51 in my account. I’m planning on applying for whatever job can take me as soon as I get there. But as of now I will be extremely grateful to take any bit of help at all. Anything donated will go to buying school supplies, hygiene products, and other necessities for my physical wellbeing.

I will be making an emergency commissions post aside this- I’m just freaking out because I’ve never had my account in the negatives before. Any cent helps, Thank you. If you would like something in return please contact me through dms regarding commissions.

ATTENTION ARTISTS: Need help calculating your commission prices?

A tool that I’ve found is really handy is a called the Cash Clock. It’s a simple program that measures both the time that you’re working on a piece as well as how much money you should be earning. You can adjust the hourly wage to whatever you feel is right. Simply start the clock whenever you begin working on a project right up until you’re finished. It can give you a clear indication of what you should charge for commissions.

No artist should make below minimum wage for their artwork.

The topic of what the player characters in the Pathfinder game I’m in wear to bed came up so I decided to draw my tiefling rogue Nailo (nye-low) in her (probably stolen) pj's.

I’ve been playing with the idea of a rokurokubi yokai girl with an interest in harajuku street fashion... Not sure why this combo came to mind, but I like her.

 A couple gem ocs and their fusion.

It started as a doodle, but I actually love them and will probably draw them again at some point.

The little story I came up with for them is that  Violet, a sweet, mildly scatter-brained sapphire, emerged near the end of the war and was meant to be a member of Pink’s court but was moved to Blue’s after Pink’s “shattering”. At some point, she was given Lilac, a quiet, patient pearl, who became her confidant and best friend. At some point they fell in love and fused which was obviously not good, considering their drastic class differences, and they are now hiding somewhere on homeworld (probably).

Their story (and fusion name?) is definitely subject to change, but idk, still love them.
