Blue is the warmest colour:

Yesterday I sprayed an orange/pink heart with "nein" (engl.: no) in it on a tree and stood in front of it for probably 20 min, thinking about couples writing the first letters of their name in a heart. Most of them just wanted to leave a sign of love. But at the same time they want to distance themselves from others, because they found each other as the best person on earth. But now there was "nein" in the heart but it perfectly fits to "nein" being written alon in a heart. It always says "no", it has everything what it needs. If someone just says "no", he is not connecting to you. It is selfish and happy with itself. After I realized this meaning of this sprayed something I thought about th right colour for it. It is: red. Red not because of the common love colour thing. It is a warning colour that deterrents people. Again the "nein" in the heart distances itself from the rest of the world by being red. To explain the title: In the opinion of most people, red is a warm colour and not blue, like the film title says. But I think that blue is much warmer than red because of its effect to the spectator. Blue has an relaxing effect, red is like I said earlier quite deterrenting. Of course I can understand when people are thinking about this in an other way, but for me it was a awesome time standing there thinking about the sprayed heart.
