ive been doing soooo much cooking while my mom has been gone!!!
lunch box (greek yoghurt + homemade kitchen sink granola and pesto gemelli + bell pepper stars)
pesto tofu (experimental marinade)
coconut strawberry granola
also made some banger banana bread, accidentally fucked up some pumpkin bread, one horrible batch of pumpkin granola, and banger nachos with homemade harissa-lemon tortilla chips ♡
(living in an "ingredients house" has changed me...in what world is 20 minute from scratch nachos a quick snack)

its been so gorgeous and rainy today (because maryland is on tornado watch lol) so i turned down all the blinds and lit sum candles. i've been putting off burning this candle for almost four years (just thought it was too pretty and smelled too nice) and it made the afternoon feel extra special.
made myself a cup of genmaicha + a ristretto and sat down to work on my rookie magazine spoof i'll never finish/publish >:P
in a greta gerwig interview she talks about there being a "state of play" children enter that we are pushed away from in adulthood; i think working on projects without intending to ever finish them, just planning things out and imagining is a sort of "state of play" too. i have so many unfinished projects and it makes me so happy to always have multiple things to just think about and tinker with that i'll never have to complete :)
