Even though this was a serious conversation Ellis was never one for being fully serious, especially with her. He couldn’t help but laugh a little, but fought to hide his frown when she knocked herself. Then came the severity of what was about to happen between her and he douche, reoccurring ex and part-time, boyfriend. “It’s in my best interest that you don’t come knocking on my door again with tears. I’m not good at consoling anyway and we’ve been through this before, haven’t we? Why do you need to click with a bastard who acts like he loves you, but treats you like your feelings don’t matter. I’m not the jealous type, don’t flatter yourself.”
"Hate to break it to you, Elliepops, but your 'best interest' is like, way way down my list of priorities." she shot him that same teasing smile, a mock-pitying look in her eyes directed at him as her lower lip jutted out into a pout after a moment. "Behind, well, me, and also my mom, and what happened on last week's Keep up with the Kardashians." She lifted herself up and allowed her legs to slip underneath her, perching herself further up as she sat. "We click genitally. Y'know, like, not like trying to fit a cucumber into a coin purse." She already knew she'd given way too much information, but that was her philosophy in a nutshell; gross out as much people as she could in the shortest space of time given. It was actually kind of like a challenge to her. "He's hot, I'm hot, we'd make cute babies if I could have kids. Simple as that." Adriane hunched forward, head resting on her hands as her elbows propped her up. "No? Because you're sounding kinda jealous, right now."
"Sounds like you need to boil off. You are pretty cute. You wanna get out of here in a minute."
Kylie paused, momentarily thinking it over before she gave a small nod of her head. "Can't really say no now you've offered," she cocked her head to the side, lips curved up still in that smirk.
Blatantly scoffing in her face, he rolled his eyes and chuckled lowly at her stupidity. “You’re better than this, I can’t believe you’re actually gonna give him another chance. What the hell did he conjure up this time?”
She felt him move ever so slightly in a direction closer to her as he laughed bitterly, her eyes cast sideways and formed a glare as she jerked away. "Don't come near me, I'm valuable," she shot back, although it was obvious she was joking as she finished it with an almost playful smile. "I'm better than this. Have you met me, by any chance? Or, wait, you must be high. Yep, definitely high, your eyes are as red as a red thing." she cocked a brow, head canting to the side as she continued to tease. But pushing back any of her insecurities, she then just shrugged. "He didn't 'conjure' anything up. We just click, is all. Don't be too concerned, might start to think you were jealous."
He grit his teeth irritably. “No.”
Biting back insult, he sipped his scotch. She was pretty hot. Maybe…
"Calm down, it was a joke." One hand leaving her phone to lift her own glass, she tipped her head back and took a long drink. And then setting it back down again, she let out a small half-laugh huff. "Kind of. I just need some sort of outlet to be a little less than 'good' today, and, you drew the short straw. Do you know how much tension arises from having to be 'Little Miss Sunshine' every goddamn hour of the day?" But she wasn't really asking... or really confiding. Just blowing smoke.
     ”Are you seriously fucking around with him again? I’m not gonna pick up the pieces this time when he does the same fucking shit —- are you fucking kidding me? You’re serious, you wanna do this again?”
"Nice to see you too," she remarked sarcastically, tipping her chin up as she looked away from him, a hint of an amused smile spreading out across her lips. But then her tone became uncertain, along with her smile. "He'll stop. He's been screwing with me, but he'll stop. I got it right this time."
"I’m not crushing on anyone." Yeah. Psh. Feelings. Like he had those.
But he was definitely not interested in this chick.
"Coulda fooled me, but hey. I did hear somewhere that that same look could also be a sign of nauseousness." she huffed softly, subtly rolling her eyes as her gaze travelled back to her phone. "You nauseous?"

"It's so sad that you're crushing so hard, because you'd be so much hotter with me than them. Just, FYI." Kylie let the words slip nonchalantly as she momentarily glanced away from her phone, a small yet no-way-innocent smirk playing at her lips.

His body suddenly tensed at her touch. A warm finger traced the eight inch scar down his spine. “P-please stop. It still hurts.” He whispered. It’d been 20 years since the accident yet the scar was still sensitive. Tyler slowly backed away from her then quickly put his shirt on. Great, now it was hurting again.
Tyler grabbed his drink from the table and downed it then turned his back again, now facing her. “It’s a long story but you’ve been asking me for a while now.” He sat down on the couch, his back gently resting against a cushion.
“I was only 7 years old, my uncle was out and my little brother was asleep so I finally had a chance to watch TV. While my grandma was cooking in the kitchen, I watched some cartoon show for about half an hour. Then trouble arrived. My uncle came home drunk and demanded me to hand the remote over. I don’t know what was wrong with me…but I refused.” He swallowed hard, his eyes wide as he spoke. “He asked again and I refused. He lost his temper and picked me up and smashed me on the coffee table, the first two times nothing happened but I was in hurt badly. Third time, the coffee table shattered in pieces and so did I. I was in tears but if I made a sound, he would’ve probably killed me.” Tyler looked down at the floor and sighed. “Long story short, I broke my back and they’d to put a metal plate in. Luckily I wasn’t paralyzed but I still couldn’t walk properly for months. Unfortunately, the metal plate shifts every few years so I need to undergo surgery again. Not now, next year.”
As she shuffled on her feet, watching him sit down on the couch, Chastity had already grown to regret her asking once she saw the pain in his expression - even before telling this story. And silently, the dainty brunette sat down on the floor across from the couch, legs crossing underneath her as she parted her lips to instruct him that he didn't really have to tell her, if he didn't want to.
But he spoke before she had the chance, and she immediately felt her mouth open more. She still stayed quiet, just listening as her eyes drifted from him, to the floor, to him and back again; not quite able to keep eye contact for as long as she wanted to - to just let him know she was listening. That he wasn't alone. And once he'd finished, the brunette took a breath, her voice coming out soft and quiet. "I...I'm sorry. I had no idea, Tyler, I... that was insensitive. Forgive me." she shook her head slightly, biting down on her lower lip as she dropped her gaze fully to the floor, avoiding his own eyes.
Klaus rolled his eyes “I don’t need to write it down love, I have an impeccable memory.”Â
"I'm sure you do." Her lips curved into a sly smirk and her eyes travelled his frame, before they fluttered back up to meet his once more. "Now, could we maybe think about cutting the pleasantries and getting right to what we both want out of this? I gotta tell ya, as fun as imagining you out of those clothes is, it's only making me all the more impatient."
"Okay, okay." he said, putting his hands up in defense. Why was she so tense today? "I know. Sometimes you can’t help but remember the past, though, and I get that completely. I mean, I do."
"Y'know, I would kill to have your life... in fact, I probably have, somewhere down the line." she murmured, attempting to lower her voice to the extent he wouldn't hear anything but soft muttering. But then she cleared her throat, eyes cast downward still. "Yeah, but the longer I don't talk about it, the easier it'll just... fade away. A guy I used to know taught me that." And it was a complete lie, but she'd fooled herself into believing it.
"Look, you knew about my condition when you told me you wanted to be with me, so I don't know why me fucking another guy has you so surprised. I'm sorry, but I can't change, and I won't."
"I mean, I respect that." Rocky said with a nod as he sat back. "I just really don’t know why you’re so ucomfortable about me asking. All I really care about is your well-being, after all."
"I'm fine," she responded quickly, although, sitting up straight she realized it might have sounded a little snappy. Maybe not for most, but for her, it seemed mean - being so sensitive had it's drawbacks. "I mean, I'm adjusting, fine. But I'd rather just forget about how things used to be, y'know?"
