“For a Change”

Once there was a lonely tree who is standing ashore. No sound can be heard, not the winds that pass, nor the waves that crash. He feels so lonely inside, and he cant do anything about it. One day, while he is sleeping. He felt something strange, something is hanging on his branch, and started singing. As he hear the hum of the ugly bird the tree was so happy because he knew that he will never be lonely again, yet the tree doesnt want the bird because its very dirty. Every day the ugly bird sings for the tree. But the tree doesnt appreciates it. And then one day, the bird flew because of misery. The tree shouted "Come back bird!". But it only made it farther to him. The tree suddenly feel the loneliness, he wept. After a year or another bird came, but this time it doesnt have the gift of voice, but its feathers is smooth as a new made silk. The tree enjoyed that he has someone to accompany with again,they were happy that they have each others backs. Storms, droughts and even floods cant stop them. So many years passed,the tree started to get bored because the bird just stood still for a whole year. Then the beautiful bird flew into the heavens as far as she could. He again became lonely. As time pass by,The tree started to get old, he is beginning to fall,leaves by leaves, branch by branch, and as he did the beautiful bird came back, flew to his branch and said. "I will always be with you, for better or for worse"The tree died happily. For he knew the that the problem is himself.

If being happy for what you are is illegal , then why? that is the only thing you can be truly be happy with. It’s kinda weird being an alien to others they stare at you just because you don’t dress or talk like them, well just what? it’s ok to be different cause we are all different in our own ways. When I was in grade 3 my teacher told me it’s ok to be different being different is a gift because if we were all the same? Then what’s left for others? . Just embrace the YOU you have and be proud of it :) cause someday when you look back? All you caould say is “I’m happy” .
