Today’s card from the sublime @rosebudtarot is The World 💚💙 Always feels gently reassuring when this card appears. A reminder of the connection inherent in being on this planet. The World card reminds us that there is no such dichotomy as “like us” and “different” (thought inspired by Layla F Saad). Love looks like relaxing in the sunshine with friends. Love looks like belonging. #tarot #theworldcard #whatdoeslovelookliketoday https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf2M8WpIw_6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
So it finally happened, the day I’d been dreading. Today I pulled the Death card. I had been thinking about a friendship that changed after a miscommunication, and my longing for things to go back to how they were. But years have gone by and that hasn’t happened. It’s different now and there’s no going back. And that’s sad. Things come to an end. Things change. And it’s ok to let them go and feel sad about it. Love is accepting things for how they are, and how you both are now you’re feelings towards each other have changed. And maybe that doesn’t mean letting that person go completely, but letting go of your attachment to the past. Things may not be the same as before but perhaps this new version of your relationship can be cherished too. Card from the incredible @llewellynbooks tarot from a free reading on their website. Question from @ddamascenaa, ‘what does love look like today?’ #whatdoeslovelookliketoday #tarot #deathcard https://www.instagram.com/p/CfzjF0lMqR9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
I can never get over how beautiful @rosebudtarot cards are and this one is a personal favourite that comes up now and again under similar circumstances. I’m glad I’ve known this card before the RWS equivalent as it feels so positive to me. It really evokes a feeling of connection to other humans and makes me think of standing on the shoulders of those who have come before me. It feels like a nice gentle reminder that everything is heading in the right direction; change for the better. Love looks like living your most loving values, moving forward in a way that might not be comfortable but you know is the most honest and truthful way to live. #tarot #judgementcard #whatdoeslovelookliketoday (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfxExY7sLte/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Today’s card pull, The Moon from the Llewellyn Tarot (gorgeous deck with free tarot readings available online https://www.llewellyn.com/tarot_reading.php?).
Love looks like following your intuition, that deep ancient knowing that’s hidden inside of you, waiting to be discovered. Love looks like following your own path and re-enchanting your life even if it seems weird to others.
The Between the Worlds (formerly Strange Magic) podcast hosted by @amandayatesgarcia says that The Moon appears when it’s time to tell your stories. The stories of your deep history and lineage. And to face your fears. I’ve found myself wondering what pre-Roman Britain looked and felt like. What the siblings of Boudica talked about and what their culture looked like, before the people of England were severed from the land.
Really thinking about this wisdom from @peathefeary today too:
“When you move from trying to do the right things to get what you want [approval?], to feeling good about your desires and noticing what you’re already doing that’s serving you, the probability of knowing the next step increases EXPONENTIALLY”.
I think this fits really well with The Moon card and has such a message for anti-racism or any social justice work too, getting to a key issue with optical allyship. Are you doing this because you know it’s honest and true? Or based on what other people might think? Is it coming from a deep place of knowing inside you, a place of love? An intuitive place?
