Might be a weird question but how do you think the 141 would react to finding out reader is trans (ftm)
TF141 finding out that reader is Transgender (FTM)
Warnings: mentions of transphobia, suggestive comments, Soap being kinda horny, mentions of dysphoria, mention of shots/needles (testosterone and very brief)
Price knew that you were trans when you joined the task force. He's the captain; he's seen and read your medical history. In all honesty, Price couldn't care less about your being transgender. You could secretly be a werewolf, and Price would not care, as long as you're a good soldier.
Price wouldn't see you as any different from the others. If anything, he thinks you're a little stronger. You're brave enough to be yourself, your true self, in a world so full of hate and prejudice. To Price, that's absolutely beautiful.
If you asked Price not to tell anyone, he wouldn't tell. He knows damn well that the military isn't exactly known for its kindness toward queer and transgender people. Of course, Price doesn't think that the others in the task force would treat you any differently, either, but it's about what you're comfortable with. Johnathan Price would never, ever out somebody.
Price would probably take extra caution to make sure nobody bugged you, if people did find out. He would punish those who disrespected you a little more harshly than he should. Not that either of you minded.
If you're scared of the shots, Price would 100% offer to help you. He'd give you the shots himself. "Shh, easy, lad. Deep breath... There we go. All done."
Ghost found out completely by accident. He knocked on the door to your quarters, didn't wait for a response, and walked right in. Ghost walked in on you giving yourself a testosterone shot. His first thought was that you were shooting up, probably with steroids or something similar.
"What the fuck are you doing, corporal?" Ghost demanded, reaching for your hand to knock the needle away, "Are you fuckin' shootin' up?"
"No, no!" You defended yourself, setting the shot aside. "It's testosterone, not drugs, I swear!"
Ghost gave you a confused look, "The fuck do you need testosterone for? You're more manly than half the twats on this base."
You couldn't help the rush of gender euphoria. That hulking beast of a man called Ghost just called you manly. With a slight flush on your cheeks, you choose to tell Ghost the truth. It's better to tell Ghost that you're trans than have him think that you're a drug addict.
"Sir, I'm transgender." You said, trying to suppress a laugh. "The testosterone is for my hormone therapy."
"Oh, okay." Ghost hummed, "Right then, finish up. I just came to tell you that Soap wants to spar with you."
In all honesty, you expected more than that as a response to your coming out. Evidently, it doesn't bother Ghost in the slightest. You're a capable soldier in his eyes, so it doesn't matter. He wouldn't treat you differently, and he won't tell anyone else.
Ghost would keep a bit of a closer eye on you, just to make sure that you aren't doing drugs.
You told Gaz on your own. There was no accident there. You felt comfortable with him.
One evening on base, you pulled Gaz into your room, telling him that you wanted to talk to him about something important.
"What's goin' on, mate?" Gaz asked, flopping down on your bed like it was his room, not yours. You grimaced at the sound that your bedframe made when Gaz put his weight on it.
"I need to tell you something, okay?" You said, nervously wringing your hands.
Gaz furrowed his eyebrows. Why did you look so nervous? He nodded either way. Gaz felt himself getting a little anxious. What could be making you so nervous around the man you puked on once?
You puffed out a quick, nervous exhale, "I'm trans."
"You're trans?" Gaz asked, a little surprised.
"Yeah," you breathed, looking nervously at Gaz.
"Okay." Gaz said, propping himself up on an elbow, "Have I been using the wrong pronouns this whole time?"
You laughed, smiling, "No, no. You're good. I dunno, I just wanted to tell you."
Gaz nodded, smiling with you, "Cool. Did you get top surgery or do ya jus' wear binders?"
You raised your eyebrows. You were a little surprised that Gaz even knew what a binder is. So, you told him that you had top surgery a few years after you enlisted.
Gaz was curious about the steps you took to transition, how you knew you were trans, and what kind of experiences you've had. You told him without a complaint.
If anything, you were happy he was asking you those questions. It made you feel more seen, more comfortable with him.
Soap found out when you accidentally flashed him in the showers.
The two of you had been working out together. You were both sweaty, so you hit the showers.
You, as always, elected for one of the more private shower stalls. Soap got into the stall next to yours. The fucker sang awful pop music while he showered.
After your shower, you wrapped your towel around your waist and left the stall. Soap was already getting dressed.
Partially dressed, at least. Soap was busy flexing and checking himself out in the mirror.
Since the universe hates you, Soap happened to turn around just as you dropped your towel to put on your boxers. And Soap, being the perv that he is, looked down. He was about to say something, but his mouth just opened a couple of times, like a fish.
Your face flushed, realizing that Soap had seen you. All of you. You quickly pulled up your boxers, hoping that Soap wouldn't realize that you were trans, and maybe just think you have a tiny cock.
"Wait, wait." Soap said, his hand grabbing your wrist as you pulled your boxers up, "You're trans?"
You sighed, scratching the back of your head, "Yeah, I'm trans."
Soap let go of your hand and plopped down on the bench in front of you, his eyes locked on yours. "I don' care tha' you're trans, ye know tha'?
You nodded, reaching for your clean t-shirt. "It's good to know you won't treat me any different, Johnny."
Soap's hand darted back to your wrist again, stopping you from grabbing your shirt.
"Don't." He said, "I like lookin' at ye. Bleedin' handsome, lad."
You were surprised. Soap flirted with you, sure, but he also flirted with Gaz, Price, and Ghost. You hummed, "I didn't think that you swung that way."
"I swing every way. Take yer boxers off, I wanna see ye again."
Uhm. I'm trans (probably???) myself, so this hit a bit different.
