Stories like this both hurt my soul cause I've been in similar situations but also make me so happy because that stage of acceptance is one that I have also seen and I know how much of a difference it can and does make and just how good it feels. Fuck aphobes. People exist in all shades, just because you are a certain color doesn't mean other colors don't exist. The fact that some people have been taught to be so hateful is genuinely incredibly sad, more so when they are a decent way into adulthood and still haven't looked inward or had any self awareness at all about how harmful their opinions are.

I'm tryna make a blog that gives as accurate descriptions of sexuality, gender, and romantic orientation as I can cause the clear cut, black and white definitions online don't do it for me. I have experience with people of a buncha backgrounds and can make the foundation on my own with minimal research, but that's no fun. I want good descriptions. Accurate ones. Ones that show off the nuances, differences, and struggles. Ones that acknowledge the shit some people go through just by being themselves... But I don't have knowledge in every category and everyone's story is different.

If you are comfortable, please share a story or just a sentence or two of things for me to look into. It doesn't have to be super specific, just something beyond what's common knowledge.
