I'm Admirable Admiral "Chef" Lambert. (He/They)

I'm 21, and joined up with the Helldivers in March, and I'm lucky enough to be my squad's Bot specialist. I'm always down to help folks who need a hand, and always down to chat- so feel free to message me! :D

I have a bit of an... eccentric team of Helldivers that I'm (mostly) proud to call my squadmates. Kitt [K1] is our most experienced 'diver, "Bugfucker" Moth [M3] is our Bug specialist, and "iPad Kid" Salad [S4] is our mine-loving, oblivious newbie.

[R2] Rascal: Former E-710 rancher, current Helldiver. Honestly a really nice guy. :)

[D3] DJ: Helldiver- we think. A little weirdo who seems to think that music is the best solution to treason.

[C4] C1: Helldiver. Forgetful and nervous- Fish really, really hates C1.

"Blue": Helldiver from the First Galactic War. Fascinated by Cyborgs, often paired with an Illuminate enthusiast.

"Zwei": Childlike automaton trooper, extremely curious about Super Earth. Largely AU-based. Blue acts as their guardian.

Notice how in Helldivers 2 with the recent warbonds… they’re all telling a story on how desperate and low on resources Super Earth is getting.

Whether intentional or not, this feels like some really good indirect storytelling for me. Think about it, the Illuminate are hammering Super Earth hard with the current invasion, and I’m sure we’ve been expending so much resources to keep on fighting. Before we had the resources to make equipment like what we saw from Steeled Veterans, Cutting Edge, Democratic Demolition, Polar Patriots, Viper Commandos, Freedoms Flame, and Chemical Agents.

Look where we’re currently at now.

Truth Enforcers: Members from the Ministry of Truth are being drafted as combat troops. All their weapons are short ranged for shooting dissidents, not assault rifles for long range combat. The halt even fires stun rounds intended for capturing, not eliminating threats. The Ministry of Truth’s equipment doesn’t seem to be intended for combat.

Urban Legends: Illuminate are attacking populated areas, so Riot Police and Civil Enforcers are first to respond while also being sent out to the frontlines. Law Enforcement equipment are being used, but we have the resources to make it work, which is why there are Flame Turrets and Anti-Tank Emplacements.

Servants of Freedom: Super Earth is getting desperate because of The Illuminate. Integrated Explosives are put inside the suits, and Helldivers are able to bring portable hellbombs with them, all done to prevent Voteless Conversion and to maximize enemy casualties, even in death. Heat sinks are removed from Sickles, both to maximize damage at the cost of burning the user and to save resources on equipment.

Borderline Justice: Super Earth begins hiring mercenaries, outlaws, gangsters, frontier settlers, and criminals from outer parts of the galaxy to bolster their recruitment numbers, allowing said groups to bring in their own gear and equipment that can be used for other Helldivers.

Masters of Ceremony: Things have gotten incredibly desperate. Super Earth begins sending in Parade Commanders and Honor Guards as emergency reinforcements. All Parade Equipment such as Ceremonial Rifles, Swords, Parade Uniforms, Super Earth Flags, and even Sparklers are being hastily modified as combat gear.

It’s getting really bad out there everyone, but we won’t back down until the last breath. No matter how desperate we’ve become, we will continue fighting so long as we have the determination for it!

The latest Strohmann broadcast also explicitly mentions Super Earth pressing dissidents into service. Super Earth is so desperate, it's forcing it's enemies to fight it's other enemies.

This is a recently-finished cosplay commission for a client on Bluesky! The UF-16 "Inspector" jacket is made from buttersoft faux leather, and lined with polyester. It features a hidden zipper in the front, and an internal breast pocket! I spent about two and a half months making it.

The finished outfit, with armour, helmet, cape, and R-2124 "Constitution", will be making its debut at LVLUP Expo in a few weeks! :D

Switching to regular bots after fighting the new incinerator corps bots for two days in Helldivers 2 felt like I dropped the difficulty down to super easy mode. The incinerators are as fun and brutal as bots used to be back during the Malevelon Creek days.

I wish Arrowhead didn’t nerf the regular bots accuracy so much. They barely ever hit you anymore. Barely ever die on Super Helldive against them.
