This is a recently-finished cosplay commission for a client on Bluesky! The UF-16 "Inspector" jacket is made from buttersoft faux leather, and lined with polyester. It features a hidden zipper in the front, and an internal breast pocket! I spent about two and a half months making it.

The finished outfit, with armour, helmet, cape, and R-2124 "Constitution", will be making its debut at LVLUP Expo in a few weeks! :D

Aegis, Defender of Earth

I finally got around to redesigning my superhero OC! I'm really happy with how she turned out, especially with all the shading and details that I was able to give to her this time around.

For those who don't know, Aegis is a character I've had for a while, where her basic gist is that she's a human that was raised by aliens after she gained superpowers during an attack on earth. Later on, she returned to earth to become its protector.

Her powers include super strength, manipulating the air and weather, and having some affinity towards sensing disaster.

I originally wanted to have this done for Liberty Day, but life MASSIVELY got in the way. I'm pleased to finally show off Version 0 of my Helldiver OC (C2) cosplay!

Why Version 0? Mostly because I am fairly small and the armour was rather large. 🤣 Everything was too big on me and I need to print a smaller version. (Coming 2025? 👀)

I made quite a few mistakes, and I have a lot of new techniques I learned that I want to try now! This was my first time doing armour at all, and it was such a fun experience. Making C2 in cosplay form really taught me to fall in love with the ebb and flow of the creative process again.

oh yeah! and while i eventually want to have a working Hellpad (gotta get my Stratagem Hero fix on-the-go, y'know?), this is what I put on it this time around as a neat little nod to the character and the (sometimes batshit insane) way I play Helldivers 2.
