Summer reading first book
To start my summer off, I read a book I had never heard of before called: The Misadventures of Benjamin Bartholomew Piff, You Wish. Overall a cute book, but certainly not one of my favorites. The lightheartedness, easy to read writing style, and setting in a world with magic make me think that I would have really liked this book as a kid. However, as an adult, the book was painfully predictable. I had considered not finishing it, but Iām rather stubborn, and as Iād already spent a decent amount of my time reading this book I was determined to see it through. So in a word, this book was meh. Not atrocious, but not one Iād recommend to a friend.
