INSTRULOID by archiebalt
An awesome experimental track that shows the unique musical potential of vocal synths. By pushing conventions of how vocalists are used in music, Archiebalt has created something uniquely diverse and atmospheric.
ローズガーデン by Shiki_
This song follows the vocal synth tradition of being both dark and super catchy. Flower's hoarse delivery gives me a powerful sense of guttural desperation.
BLACK LOVE by ukai
This song feels like an old vocal synth classic, embodying all the best traits of addictive hooks and emotional intensity we associate with vocarock. A hidden gem from the Korean scene.
I'm Glad You're Here, P by ZiePan
In the vsynth scene, there's been a lot of art hypostatizing the relationship between user and vocal synth. This song's meta exploration of the concept pushes it beyond simple fantasy, creating a touching piece of self reflection.
Golden Days by Pomegranola
This song perfectly captures the bittersweetness of nostalgia. The production and vocal harmonies make the track feel timeless. This is the type of song to sing with the windows down, driving home on a long summer afternoon.
Still Shining by Mayonazy
With unconventional soundscapes and familiar melodies, this song feels both comforting and fresh. Despite their speed, Teto's heartfelt vocals make me want to sing along.
百鬼夜行 -Pandemonium- by dim
This dramatic orchestral arrangement could fit right into a film score. The blend of modern and traditional instrumentation comes together skilfully, an example of controlled chaos that lives up to its title.
佐行声鳴 - Shadow of the Spotlight by Sagyo Sena
Miku sounds ethereal on this impressively complex IDM track. I was immediately hooked by the intertwining of haunting vocal melodies with intense, otherworldly production.
ネームレス・シンク by Kihira
Sweet and delicately composed, the production here is filled to the brim with ear candy. I've no doubt this producer will become a rising star in Japan.
høre du mæ by nure
A beautifully melancholic song with incredibly intricate production. The way SEKAI's quiet voice soars on the chorus tugs at the heartstrings. (My personal #1!)
