Had the best best day ever. After lots of training I finally got to have my first proper day volunteering at the drug service. I'm so happy happy and I'm so glad I got thrown right into interacting with clients. A lot of the other volunteers are getting freaked out and scared and I'm like whaaaat it just feels so natural and right to me. This week I did drug screening for those on methadone scripts, next week I'm doing the same and observing assessments, and the week after I'm helping with the needle exchange. Fsoifhsnf just so excited for the future.
