i think a lot of my love for kirishima comes from the fact that he was this sad unconfident guy who decided what he wanted to do to make himself happy was dye his hair firetruck red and spike it into horns and be loud and bright and physical, unabashedly emulate what he admires, show off his shark-tooth grin and deck out his dorm into a “den of manliness”, scream and yell and fight with all he has because that’s is what he wants to be and how could you not look at a character like that and think “you go, man, i’m so proud”
