First of all, I hope you're feeling better soon. It's really sad that some people reacted so negatively toward you. You were always the tarot reader who never claimed that what you posted was a fact.
The problem is that you got caught up in what other people were doing. Some readers (or one reader??) claimed that Will and Mack weren't talking to each other anymore and presented it as a fact just because that's what they saw in the cards. That made some fans angry, and now, unfortunately, all tarot readers are being viewed in a negative light because of it.
I hope you enjoy your break, take good care of yourself, and that you'll be back for the new season. Hopefully with Will and Mack readings again.
You know I realized it is kind of pointless and toxic to think about these things. I agree I am getting caught up in something I didnt mean to start.
I have thought about deactivating (it happens on a monthly basis)
I was the first to read tarot in wm’s fandom and other people started doing it (I’m not in contact with any so I don’t how many or who posted what tbh)
But I should not be held responsible for what people think and discuss on other blogs, especially since I cant even view it. I often present the reading, always add a disclaimer and you guys are free to think what you want.
Now maybe it’s a few disgruntled users whom I blocked going around and causing trouble (basically childish behavior) I’m not sure who is reposting my answers tbh
This will probably offend a few people but a lot of people dont understand tarot and lack common sense.
I see it a lot and some are just bored with too much time on their hands so they write up a fake a reading of whatever story/narrative they support and send it in as “anon reader” and kept sending crap in my inbox for 3 days straight then disappeared after I called them out.
The point of all of this is dont believe everything you read. A lot of people troll for fun or boredom and many that I have spoken to privately have no idea what theyre doing, even with proof of photos
Also, as soon as I announced that I am stepping away from wm reads for a while, some people started unfollowing so there you go.
A lot only followed because maybe they think these readings fill in a space of wm they have in their head? I dont know what to think tbh
I wonder if I can restart it all as a purely tarot blog and can read hockey on the side? It’s just my crack posts and shipping attracted a portion of the fandom that made this space a bit unpleasant
