unhclynights:
There were only a very small amount of people in the world who could still can Zed by his full name without him snapping back at them. These were people Zed had a lot of respect for. One was his sire, who he hasn’t seen for over 200 years. The other were the Ancient Vampires. As soon as knew about them, Zed was determined to work underneath them as much as possible. He was lucky enough to have gotten close with Alexander. And the younger vampire couldn’t ask for anything else. Zed cracked a smile at Alexander’s words. He might have lost out on a meal, but seeing Alexander here was worth being thirsty a little bit longer. He had to admit the man was nice to look at. Zed’s awe stuck eyes followed the ancient one’s hand, coming close to his face to take his toothpick then run along his shoulders. If he had a heart beat, it would be pounding so fast. Zed realized he was just staring and blinked out of awe. “Yeah. I know. I’ve gotten a meal from them a while ago. I just try and avoid coming into the church. Not a huge of these places. I must have been more drained then I though seeing I actually walked in here.” Zed looked back down at the body. “I didn’t interrupt anything, did I?”
"no, nah you didnt.” alexander muses indifferently, taking a step back from zed as he places arms behind his back, scanning the old church he hadnt been to in over a century. eyes fall back onto zed, nodding along at his words. alexander wasnt ever one for many friends, he could count on one hand a list of people that never bothered him. zed was one of them and it wasnt because of the admiration he held for ancients. alexander just enjoyed him, he was sure he could never interrupt anything where alex was concerned. “you hungry? lets get someone to eat.” an arm wraps around zed’s shoulders, pulling him closer as he leads them out of the church, abandoning the dead man in the distance. “what do you have in mind? pretty little witch? testy wolf? or are you like me and still like the good ole human option?”
vampireroxy:
“Hallelujah, brother.” She teased him as she got closer to him. Alexander meant so much to Roxy that she really missed having him around. She remembered when she was still a newborn vampire, when they first met. Centuries passed by and their relationship remained the same, they still cared for each other, despite their differences, they’d protect one another. “Everything’s peachy. Kinda busy, As I mentioned. But still walking on sunshine. And don’t it feel good?” She chuckled and bit her lower lip. “What about you and your little one? I must say, I love daddy Xander so damn much. I wanna get in touch with your kid so bad! Can I be aunt Roxy? Pretty pretty please!” She pouted, blinking her eyes. Would the ancient vampire be able to resist that face? Maybe. But she really loved when she walked in on Xander and the kid playing Barbie. Roxanne didn’t see that coming and that night she saw his soft side and that was beautiful.
eyebrows furrowing at her pout, he cant help but to crack a smile, shaking his head at his long time friend. “ellie is good, shes four now, still making me want to retire from being the big bad vampire i spent all these centuries making sure people knew.” there were reasons why none had known of alexander’s life, why he had only been spotted every other century. between century long slumbers and fostering a child that belonged to a now six feet under friend of his, he didnt need anyone taking advantage of people he cared for out of their own vendetta’s against him. reasons why he had promised roxanne that on her life, she’d never utter a word beyond the barriers of their friendship about ellie to anyone. he trusted her more than anything. “shes probably asleep at this time but you can meet her tomorrow if you stick around long enough this time.”
bringthedemonout:
“Wait, are you claiming to be a Leo now?” He asked, giving a breathy laugh. Though, as the other slapped his hand away, Raine cackled and let his head fall back in his bout of mirth. “You’re such a prude!” Raine expressed, letting the other walk away from him. He stood there, arms crossed against his chest loosely while he watched that backside shift with each step. “Oh, I know it’s for me. Who the fuck else is going to appreciate it like I can?” Nipping his bottom lip, he walked forward and quickly slapped him on the rear before flitting to the dead man at the altar. “This one is a good sacrifice, hm? My Darkest Father would appreciate such a delicacy like this pervert.”
"the other day i was totally a libra.” he grins a genuine one raine’s way in response to his laugh. alexander could see the change of state when around roxanne and raine, two of the people hes known longest in his life. it was refreshing. “am not a prude, just a gentlemen. are there many of those these days?” hes silent after the slap on the rear, a small grin forming until he takes a whiff of something, someone that isnt raine. he begins to look around, taking a step with each scan of the room, eyes wild as he recognizes the scent as a threat. no footsteps, no human heart beat. no one besides the two of them stood there in the church of the night. blue icy eyes land on raine and it isnt long before he puts two and two together. “you into lackluster hunters now?”
I realized I didn’t get a chance to respond the other day after you spat in my face and yelled at me, and you stormed off like a child.
kxde:
“Proudly.” Kade answered through clenched teeth, though his tone was more smug than it was defensive. It was true after all. Kade didn’t exactly get along well with his family and those who knew the Wesson family, knew him. “Glad you remembered.”
Alexander sure did enjoy the sound of his own voice though. The hunter ripped away and rolled his shoulder as soon as he felt the pressure release. “What can I say, you got a spooky face” Kade answered dryly. “Glad to see you’re finally confessing though. Not sure how much good it’ll do you though.”
"why lie?” was all he said, stepping towards the alter as he looked around, his mind rampaging to figure out just what kade had been doing here while he was here. “i’d say mind your manners and business when it comes to your elders but we all know words only serve one purpose. to go in and out of your abnormally large ears.” he tilts his head in the hunter’s direction, a sly grin evident.
bringthedemonout:
“Only for you, gorgeous.” He said, winking at him before blowing him a kiss. Snapping the man’s neck to make sure he stayed dead and didn’t become some disgusting ghoul nor become inhabited by a Lower Demon, Raine walked over to the ancient friend of his and smirked to him. “Oh, babe. You really think people actually throw welcome parties for souls as damned as yours? No. The only thing I could think of you being welcomed for is if you went down to Hell and became something like Simon; a Lower Level Demon. Even then, you wouldn’t be anything special.” Stepping up to him so he was close enough so their noses were almost touching, he reached up and dragged a manicured black-painted nail over his jawline painfully slow. “I mean, not that it means anything to Lucifer, but I could possibly put in a good word for your perky ass and fine abs.”
"being ignored... huh. i better not die any time soon then. i dont think the leo in me could take it.” alexander had been alive for so long he had eventually forgotten his own birthday, instead claiming himself as whatever zodiac sign he felt he was that specific day. raine is close and alexander stops speaking, staying put as his eyes follow that of the demon before him, eyes lifeless as he watches raine in his true element. and suddenly he brings his hand up, slapping raine’s away lightly at the mention of his ass. if there was one thing about alexander, he had been born during a respectful time, carrying it with him through the long centuries, not daring to even whisper anything inappropriate unless in the bedroom, especially in front of raine. “you think my ass is perky?” he muses out flattered, a small smirk on his features as he walks towards the alter of the church, taking in his surroundings. “i do those squats just for you, handsome.”
xblvsphemy:
“ My question here, is why you confessing? “ Amara mused about as she licked her lips. The body she just drained dropping to the floor with a loud THUD that echoed throughout the church. She never gave the thought of there being a higher being. Sure, demons existed. Meaning the devil was real. Which in turn made GOD real. She just didn’t care.
“Look at you—you almost sound as hopeless as you may look. The dead are gone, love, and the living are hungry. No point in looking back in what you can not change.” Amara looked at him, a small smile gracing her lips, one that tricked many into thinking she was harmless. Such a lovely little thing. Of course, the bit of blood on the corner of it said otherwise.
"last time i checked, i didnt require life advice from someone who’s younger than me.” he mused, leaning back into his chair in the booth, staring at her through eyes that held little to no emotion. they follow the body as it falls down and once again are back on her green ones. he hadnt seen her for what felt like centuries and he wasnt sure if it were because of his recent half a century nap or her hiding out. “cant a man muse about losing the love of his life a few millenniums ago in peace?” he sighs out sarcastically, standing up on his feet with his hands behind his back.
vampireroxy:
“Oh…” The youngest vampire watched Alexander wipe the evidences and she stood still, connecting the dots. Of course he was there to feed from the fresh vein. Of course the blood she could smell wasn’t from her blood bag. It was from someone else, who was now dead. All those centuries and Xander still managed to shock her in every way possible. “May we pray for their soul, then?” She asked as she motioned to the corpse and her smile widened when he got closer. “If I had to spend two centuries confessing, you’d have to spend at least a thousand years or more, grandpa Xander.” She chuckled and winked at him. “Ouch.” Roxy repeated, jokingly grimacing. “Busted, maybe?” She shook her head, opening her bag and showing him the content: the blood bag. “I’m way too busy with my bar and I finally got enough time to feed on the low, y'know?” Even if there wasn’t anyone (alive) near them at the moment, the vampire couldn’t help but lower her voice. “I was planning on calling you, though. I’m glad I found you.”
apparently still on the blood bags, his eyebrows furrowed at the sight in the bag. he hadn’t been one to judge but he always wondered how she managed to even enjoy it if it wasnt from the vein. “no we may not.” he muses out loud, leaning against a statue of what appeared to be a large dragon, he wasnt entirely sure. alexander wasnt one for hugs, living life as long as he did meant he went lots of time without seeing people, he never made a big deal over it but there was something about seeing roxanne every few years that made him smile. she had always managed to make the natural clench of his jaw relax into a smile that screamed admiration. “well im glad you found me too. hows everything? still walking on sunshine?”

kxde:
In an instant, the vampire was close. Too close. And wasn’t it just too damn bad he wasn’t packing heat for his date. He had this particular vampire’s name engraved on a special silver bullet and it belonged right between his pretty blue eyes. Maybe then he’d manage to get a nice thick steak into his heart. “Alexander.” The tone was patronizing at best. Perhaps not the best move. Then was the crushing grip on his shoulder. The hunter nearly dropped to his damn knees the pain was so bad. But with his own pride’s at stake––for his family’s sake, he had to grin and bear it. “Being creepy’s still your full-time gig, huh?” The hunter winced and leaned away.
"being a complete and utter failure is still yours, huh?” and with that, a sudden crack of a smile that hadnt yet reached his eyes forms, slowly letting go of the pressure used to cause the other pain. “kade, come on, you look like you’ve just seen a ghost in me. technically im not that dead and well... arent you hunters supposed to be fearless and strong despite your numerous defeats in life? i take it you finally managed to take one of us out? is it one of the pretty little dark witches around here? nah... cant be... so why are you so spooked?”
helena-theriot:
“Usually people are allowed to use the rest of the church when confessional is in session, not that anyone was listening. There’s a distinct pitting of death in the air. Is it wise to leave your scraps lying about after you’re done with them? Assuming you were the one to kill whatever it is slowly starting to cool and decompose.” She didn’t like the way he smiled, it looked like it pulled painfully at his face. Turning her eyes from him she went back to staring at the pew in front of her. Already she missed New Orleans but she couldn’t go back.
"is it wise for anyone to question me about leaving my scraps lying around after i’m through with them?” he shoots back almost instantly, almost as if he’d enjoy it if they did. it was always fun to pick a fight, especially when he was a fighter. his eyes linger to where helena is staring and because no one has ever mentioned his lack of understanding of personal space, hes behind her in an instant, less creepy than before. he seems curious, intrigued by her melancholic disposition. “have you lost something... someone?”
