Cardverse content! My cardverse au is really popular with my followers on Instagram- I kinda have my own version and story of it that revolves around the king of spades (Alfred), falling in love with the queen of hearts (Kiku), and they begin running away together to escape their restrictive life as royals… In the meantime, the queen of spades also finds love with an unexpected partner… aaahhh the lore is really long and complicated in my head, I keep saying one day I’ll write a big fic of it but when that might happen, I do not know…

I hate it when people call the Walt Disney Corporation "the mouse."

No. Leave Mickey out of this.

Mickey has always been and always would be on our side. He supports the people around him unconditionally. He loves "evil" people, and his enemies, despite being a bit of a trickster and knowing when not to pull his punches. He's determined to help. He always looks for the bright side of things. He is a ray of sunshine in a dark and horrible world.

He was made in the 1920's and became such a popular figure in the 1930's because of the Great Depression, when people looked up to him to make them laugh and bring joy back in their lives. And he did that. There is a very likely chance that Mickey saved real people in the real world just be showing up and being himself, something corporate Disney would NEVER do.

Even when fighting Pete or the Beagle Boys, even if he doesn't pull his punches, he always shows understanding and compassion towards them if the situation calls for it and he's able. He always prioritizes the safety and well-being of his actual friends, but he has never, EVER told someone they didn't deserve love, or support, or unconditional acceptance.

Mickey is on our side. Don't group him in with homophobic, transphobic, bigoted corporate Disney. He's better than that.

He has always been an excellent and fun toon, but also one of the purest, humble and golden-hearted people who have ever existed in the world.
