The project submitted, representing the Republic of Sudan, by the graduates of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning achieved first place in Africa in a regional architectural competition organized by the African Union of Architects in cooperation with UNESCO on the digital transformation competition to showcase architectural heritage of ancient buildings in Africa.

Sudan University of Science and Technology was distinguished in this classification as the only Sudanese university to feature among the top 100 among the Arab world, where it ranked 92nd. In Africa SUST ranked 77th.

Part of Sudan University of Science and Technology

The College of Graduate Studies was established in 1990 to become one of the most important colleges of Sudan University of Science and Technology.

It has graduates from various scientific disciplines who hold a doctorate, masters and postgraduate diploma from inside and outside Sudan.

During a period extending between 2002-2014, the college graduated 1,771 PhD holders, 9,236 master's holders, and 3,384 postgraduate diploma holders.

The college accommodates a large number of students, over 9000 students registered in the college who are enlisted in more than 120 programs that are subject to development every 3-5 years to keep pace with scientific developments.

The college also has overseas students from 25 countries in various programs.
