四月，我先去了鎌倉，那是我一直想去的地方。之後去了中國，故人來接機。

七年未見。車上，他馬不停蹄地update一眾舊友的消息，聽來幾乎全是壞消息。

我忍不住懷疑，我們這個班是不是中了什麼魔，怎麼比混黑社會的風險還大。人到中年，怎麼聽起來已經折損過半？

他升官了。可是，這似乎也是一個壞消息。

他渾身上下都寫著疲憊，整個人像淹沒在微信的海洋裡，偶爾才能趁著一點空隙，把頭伸出水面，喘上一口氣，說一兩句人話。

我們去吃宵夜。我發現自己廢話連篇——因為我的那些「埋怨」，在他眼裡大概都只是小兒科。

我一沉默，他便得開口說話；只有我不停地說，他才能歇一歇，低頭吃上一口東西。

曾經無話不談的朋友，如今只能用廢話填滿難得的空隙。

一個被生活吊打的人，已經沒有多餘的心力做別的事了。敘舊、傾聽、傾訴，通通成了奢侈品。

這樣的情景，在之後的幾個星期裡，一再出現。

我親愛的朋友們，我真的很生氣。

你們怎麼就讓生活，把自己變成了這副模樣？

那一刻，我忽然明白了王維的「寒梅著花未」。

原來那並不是沒話找話，而是有太多話無從說起，最後只能問一句：

窗前的寒梅，開花了沒有？
