四月,我先去了鎌倉,那是我一直想去的地方。之後去了中國,故人來接機。
七年未見。車上,他馬不停蹄地update一眾舊友的消息,聽來幾乎全是壞消息。
我忍不住懷疑,我們這個班是不是中了什麼魔,怎麼比混黑社會的風險還大。人到中年,怎麼聽起來已經折損過半?
他升官了。可是,這似乎也是一個壞消息。
他渾身上下都寫著疲憊,整個人像淹沒在微信的海洋裡,偶爾才能趁著一點空隙,把頭伸出水面,喘上一口氣,說一兩句人話。
我們去吃宵夜。我發現自己廢話連篇——因為我的那些「埋怨」,在他眼裡大概都只是小兒科。
我一沉默,他便得開口說話;只有我不停地說,他才能歇一歇,低頭吃上一口東西。
曾經無話不談的朋友,如今只能用廢話填滿難得的空隙。
一個被生活吊打的人,已經沒有多餘的心力做別的事了。敘舊、傾聽、傾訴,通通成了奢侈品。
這樣的情景,在之後的幾個星期裡,一再出現。
我親愛的朋友們,我真的很生氣。
你們怎麼就讓生活,把自己變成了這副模樣?
那一刻,我忽然明白了王維的「寒梅著花未」。
原來那並不是沒話找話,而是有太多話無從說起,最後只能問一句:
窗前的寒梅,開花了沒有?
