Crownsville was a place that Cherie came and left when the time felt right, sometimes it felt right to leave due to mental health or perhaps she just wanted to explore but she had always come back when she wanted too and felt like it was time too; “So today I finished a series I love so much and I don’t think I can wait for another season to come out and I honestly do not know what to do with my life. Does anyone have any tips for what to do when your favourite series comes to an end?”

     “Honestly, I just never watch the finale,” she admitted with a small laugh. “In my head, if I don’t watch the finale, I never get closure, so it makes it easier to rewatch... I’ve seen The Office like four times and I have yet to watch the finale. I do the same thing at the end of the season. I don’t watch the finale until the next one is about to air.”

IF there was one thing tierney was good at, it was being a busybody. she felt like she was constantly on the move. whether it was for personal reasons, or for teagan and blake, or for the music store – tierney was ALWAYS on the move. today was no exception. she was currently running around trying to complete a list of errands for the store. glancing down at the notes app on her phone where she’d saved the list, tierney tried to figure out where she needed to go next. however, she spent SO much time looking at her list, that she completely lost track of the fact that she was still walking down the sidewalk and ran directly into a person heading the opposite direction. she hadn’t even realized that she was about to bump into someone before it was too late and whatever they’d been carrying fell to the ground. quickly, tierney glanced down at what had fallen and brought her hands to her face in embarrassment. “ oh my gosh, i am SO sorry! please, let me help you pick that up. ” she spoke quickly, already leaning down to retrieve what had been dropped on her account.

      It wasn’t exactly that Sutton was an incredibly busy person, it’s that her mind was incredibly busy, constantly working and thinking about her previous, current, and next thought. Her brain was in every direction, therefore she was. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be walking down the street, jotting reminders to herself on a notepad, like she was at this moment while juggling her water bottle, phone, keys, and wallet in her hands. She wasn’t completely sure what happened, but one moment she was hurrying down the street then suddenly she was on the street, and a young woman profusely apologizing. “Oh, god, no you don’t have to be sorry, I totally wasn’t paying attention,” she said with a light laugh as she was tried to get her bearings.

“why can’t i be drunk and fine?” harrison asks, raising a brow over at the blonde. “i don’t have a car.”

      “Well, I’ve found that people who are stumbling and saying they’re fine, means they usually aren’t,” Sutton stated. “How are you getting home? Do you need a ride?”

harrison was drunk. he knew he shouldn’t be, but he was. with last call upon him he closes out his tab, tossing back whatever’s left in his glass, grumbling under his breath when the bartender tells him to get a move on. moving to his feet, he stumbles slightly, catching himself after a moment. “i’m fine.” the blonde mutters, swaying for a moment before taking a step away from the bar. “see?”

     “You’re definitely not fine,” Sutton stated, standing up from her barstool and coming up to the other’s side. “You better not be driving home.”

for someone who typically presented himself as though his entire appearance was magically effortless, jed was having quite the crisis before a mirror in the middle of the store. he twisted here and there, unfazed by anyone who might be witnessing the whole debacle until he sighed, remarking in defeat, “i look like an asshole, don’t i? i feel like an asshole.” and what exactly he meant by that, even he didn’t know, but he spun around once more. at this point, his tone over this disastrous jean shopping was a mix of seriousness and jest. this was exactly why he stuck to the trusted wardrobe of the same two pairs of old pants. “how can these things make me look even shorter?”

      Sutton turned to look at the person who was talking to themselves in the middle of the store. She wanted to compliment them and make them feel better about the outfit, but then she saw it. “No... you look...  great,” she said, attempting to sound convincing, before breaking out into laughter. “I would try and find a different pair of pants,” she laughed.

“GOD.   I   walked   into   the   bar   and   some   guy   literally  pointed   at   me   and   shouted   at   the   top   of   his   lungs   ‘DIBS!’   before   turning   to   his   friends.   Sometimes   I   really   fucking   HATE   men.  Anywho,   care   to   join   me   for   a   drink   before   I   do   something   I   severely   regret?”

     Sutton rolled her eyes at the other woman’s story. “God, men are trash! What I really don’t understand is if they honestly think that’s going to get them anything. Like... has any woman ever responded kindly to crap like that?” she ranted, just completely done with men and their bullshit today.  “Anyways, yes, I would love to join you for a drink.”

“I know. There’s gotta be some horses for dumb dads course I can take”, he said. His daughter had hobbies she was so excited about, which was exciting for him - he really couldn’t care what it was, she loved it. “They’re stunning creatures. And really fucking expensive”, he said. He liked horses, but he had only ever had dogs before - and in comparison, horses were very expensive. It didn’t really even make a dent in his multi-millions, but still. “Why are you reading about breeding citrus fruit? How do you even breed fruit.”

      “I don’t know about courses, but I’m sure youtube will have some video series that’ll help,” she offered with a playful shrug. “Oh, they are. So are exotic fish, which I would have a million if I had the money... but if I had enough money for exotic fish, I’d probably have a  horse too,” she said, accidentally going on one of her famous tangents. Not that any of her tangents were on purpose, but they were definitely frequent enough that she should probably put more effort into stopping them. “I don’t know, I just like reading about things, I guess,” she said. “You cross-pollinate them,” she told him as if it were common knowledge.

“probably because we all watch too many horror movies.” thoren replies, chuckling. “i want to die a normal, boring death. not that i get to pick, but still.” 

       “Oh, we’re definitely watching too many horror movies,” she agreed with a laugh. “I mean, I still can’t look at clowns the same way after watching It,” she admitted. “I do too. I want to die in my sleep at a ripe old age. In reality, I’ll probably die of a jellyfish sting or something stupid like that.”

“Of course”, Declan said with a nod, a grin pulling at the corner of his mouth. The childlike excitement was adorable. “My daughter has been going on and on about horses all day, surprise me with a different topic.”

      “Well, I’m glad you want a different topic, because I actually know nothing about horses,” she said, frowning slightly.  “Anyways, I do know that lemons aren’t a naturally occurring fruit! It was man bred from sour orange and citron. And even the sour orange is man bred fruit between mandarin and pomelo!”

     “Yes, definitely. Also, elevator deaths tend to be sensationalized, I think. We hear about all of them because they tend to be so out of the ordinary. Meanwhile, we only hear about a handful of car accidents, because they’re everywhere.”

“You’re fucking with me. No way that’s true.” She definitely had to be bluffing. And if she wasn’t, what type of person had random facts like that stored in their brain? “Who are you?” He was curious now. Forget the facts. 

      “Oh, no, I promise you it is. They can be up to six times their body length! They’re also hermaphroditic so two barnacles can actually simultaneously inseminate each other,” she said excitedly. “Also, Charles Darwin spent almost a decade studying barnacles, and without them, we wouldn’t have the theory of evolution,” she added, with a smile. “Sutton Campbell,” she said proudly, reaching out her hand to shake his.

            Winter Flores usually had some type of filter when it came to the words she spoke, but right now, it seemed to be a concept she didn’t care about; alcohol had that effect. “ We can both agree that your employer hates all of you, definitely,” Winter agreed, raising the the glass to her lips once more, “ You always had the option of changing, too. Wouldn’t really want to show up to a bar in .. that. ”

       Sutton was growing increasingly intimidated and uncomfortable by the interaction she was having with the woman. Sure she was in her work clothes, but she didn’t look that bad, did she? At least she wasn’t covered in fish guts. “Well, I guess that’s true,” she said, tight-lipped. If she were a more blunt person, she’d make a comment about how if she didn’t like the outfit she could look away, or ask her if she always insulted people’s clothing when she went to bars, but unfortunately, she wasn’t. So Sutton kept her mouth shut.

laughing along with the other, romeo happily exclaimed, “that’s the spirit!” he cheered the woman on to continue. “then why do you continue to waste your time with those bores?” he wondered through laughter, loving how this was helping to cross certain occupations of lovers off his list. turning to make the femme a vodka soda, romeo licked his lips, “how about we find you someone entertaining tonight, lets speed date.” he chuckled at the idea knowing it was crazy especially since he was working but it’d be fun.

      “Well, it was a blind date. I really only did it as a favor to a friend,” she admitted with a laugh. “What exactly do you mean by speed dating?” she questioned, raising her eyebrow at the male. “Because while it sounds fun, I’m wondering how you’re going to find me a man from behind a bar.”

      Sutton could tell the other was unamused, which she would admit bothered her a little. She would much rather someone tell her no than indulge her if they genuinely didn’t care. So she decided to mess with him a little, and give one of her weirdest facts. “Did you know that barnacles have the largest penis in the animal kingdom relative to body size?”
