Virgo: Personal Planets & The Ascendant
Virgo Ascendant: Mercury is expressed in a more reserved way than that of Gemini. Here we see a native that is focused on improving themselves and the world around them through their skills. They enjoy bringing the problem solvers and do not mind lending a helping hand to those that need it. It can be hard for them not to beat themselves emotionally, because they want to achieve the highest of standards for themselves. The energy bounces off and radiates off the native, but this is different from Gemini. Virgo here wants to expand but it is restricted to emotions and therefore all it can truly do is observe and take things internally. Here the mind meshes with the heart; the native striving to find an order and balance to make things work. Emotions are guarded but they will not be abashed to let you hear a piece of their highly intelligent mind.
Virgo Mercury: Exalted in this placement for great reason. Virgo is the perfectionist when it is in Mercury; it does not mess around here. Unlike Gemini, Virgo is analytical and wants concrete facts. It seeks the truth in the same way Scorpio does but not with the same intensity. Virgo thrives on facts, order and sensibility. It will be ruthless when it notices someone say something foolish. Here, the person with this Mercury can become a great teacher. The Sciences will allow them to thrive as well as subjects related to death and mysteries.
Virgo Mars: When the Virgin is in the sign of Mars, this can make for someone who is hard working and does not lose focus. This is an underestimated Mars placement, but it is very valuable because it gives the native the tenacity needed for them to succeed. These are the people planning light years ahead to make it to the top. They may not aspire to be the top dog but will like their place with the others.
