I will say despite the Meowzie lookalike getting barely any screentime, she seems nicer than the original, who considered Meowth a freak for his learning to walk and talk like a human.

I also like the return of the running gag where someone gets his name right, but correcting them is such a reflexive action that he gets his own name wrong.

I mean, it obviously doesn't stick, they're main characters about as much as Ash is, but still a tearjerker moment.

Team Rocket's had it awful today. Blasted away by Lucario and Swablu, then eaten by Wailord, now they freeze after losing track of Wailord in an icy tundra.

Also, I want to get the rest subbed since next they meet Butch and Cassidy, so this is it for now. (That and I was up till 4:30 last night playing Legends and am in dire need of a nap 😅)

It is definitely a “Butch and Cassidy responsible for their gacha failures plot” or something else where they try to fool JJM and make them quit TR or something??? Strange, in any case, might turn out funny and well done or… completely brainless like some other stuff regarding Matori/TRio. Red flags here are the mention of TRio’s part time jobs (FUCK! FUCK! FUCK!) in the episode written by Yonemura right after the previous two-parter written by Yonemura in which the writers used TRio actually as Team Rocket doing their jobs albeit it was just alt tr and regular TR seems busy with… part time jobs for reasons all of a sudden… even though characterized properly in many places but never allowed to act accordingly in plots. The dichotomy continues, and even their main motivation behind the plot of this ep is BECOMING EFFECTIVE TR MEMBERS WHO CAN DO SHIT hence blaming the gacha
