Eddie’s face turned a bright red once he saw that Suzie wasn’t dressed, “I-I, oh my.. I’ll just.. Uh-I’m sorry.” He just stood there, he didn’t have the sense to leave but just stand there nervous and blushing a ridiculous shade of red.

Suzie was surprised when Eddie walked in. “Eddie!” She tried to make the situation more lighthearted. “Didn’t you ever learn how to knock?”

"I’m sorry! I thought you were in the other room.." Eddie stuttered, "I’ll just go." Eddie turned away walking out of the room quickly.

"Oh Eddie don't be such a prude." Suzie teased as she put some clothes on. "We are living together after all."

Eddie nodded and smiled widely, “yes, you make a great Audrey, Suzie.” Eddie felt like a fool in his costume but he does a lot of stuff to make Suzie happy.

Suzie giggled and kissed Eddie's cheek. "Thanks for doing this Eddie, it means a lot to me. Now, how about we get going?"

He came back out dressed as Agent Cooper awkwardly adjusting the suit, “are you happy now?” Eddie asked chuckling slightly.

Eddie stood in Suzie’s doorway, he sighed nervously afraid of what was going to come out of his mouth. He knew he told her to leave, and he knew it’s been a long time since he talked to her but he hadn’t felt alive, he was living but he hasn’t felt alive since she left. “I held on, I know you didn’t, I know I told you to leave, but I held on. I’m lost, I’m wounded, I’m hurt, I just need you with me. I need you to come back with me, come back to Gotham Suzie. Suzie swallowed thickly and held back her tears. Why did he have to show up now? It had been months since Suzie left Gotham…why did he have to do this? “You don’t mean it.” She said softly. “You don’t mean it and you know it. You were Eddie long before I came along and you’ll be Eddie long after I’m gone.”

Eddie stood there taken aback by her response, “I mean it Suzie. I wouldn’t come to Canada if I didn’t mean it. I was the Riddler, I wasn’t Eddie, I was just some guy trying to outsmart a man who dresses up as a rodent. You gave me a reason to be Eddie, I hid from the Nigma name, I was the Riddler. But you made me Edward, I am Eddie with you. But, if you refuse to come back there’s nothing I can do.” Eddie knew if he couldn’t convince her to come with him back to Gotham he wouldn’t be able to carry on living. She made such an impact in his life he was dependent on her to continue living his life.

Suzie bit her bottom lip. "I need to know you'll trust me." She said after a few minutes of silence. "I need to know that even if you do hear things about me, and something tells me that you will, I need you to talk to me before start believing them. Can you do that?"
