It's funny, you know. I think about December all the time. December is one of my favorite years. It's always been like that, and until just recently, when I discovered synesthesia, I understood why. Because December isn't just a month, isn't just a time. He's a person, with a beautiful personality. He's kind and gentle, and loves to tell stories. He's the only blue month of the year and somehow it makes him unique. I feel as though I am in his presence these days and it's relaxing. Soon it'll be January and I won't see December for another year. That makes me sad. And I've never really liked January, but don't tell her I said that. I don't want to leave December, but I guess I have no choice. I mean, how can you stop time turning?
