We think so!
Furiosa

Find it here in the shop
As always, I dye in small runs, but I can make more! If you want more than is in stock, or the yarn shows out of stock, please contact me and I will be happy to dye some up for you.
MAD MAX THEMED YARN <3
Organizing my sock yarn stash this weekend. So many wonderful colors to (eventually) play with!
Finally, OFFICIALL finished Jon’s socks! Ends weaved in an everything. He’s wearing them right now so I guess that’s a good sign he likes them! :)
Yarn: Opal Sweet and Spicy 2 - 8614 Weintrauben
Finished the socks! Gotta weave in some ends but they’re pretty good to go! They’re so big the sock blockers don’t quite fit - the socks are baggy on them!

Hello I saw the yarn from the Maryland Sheep and Wool. Is that a shop or a festival? The gradient yarn was beautiful and I was wondering if I could find it online since I live in the South.
Hello! Yes the MDSW is a festival held here in Maryland every May.
The gradient yarn is made by Fiber Optics Yarns and is called Paintbox Gradient. You can find it here - https://www.kimberbaldwindesigns.com/
They update the site on Saturdays but at MDSW they told me they tend to sell out very quickly! Best of luck in grabbing one! :)
#MDSW2015 Day 2 haul... and then my entire MDSW haul for this year.
Yikes.
Today’s haul from Maryland Sheep and Wool! Such yarn yummies <3
also how the hell did I talk myself into getting TWO Footnotes Paintbox Gradients... eep
Snow day! Been working on some socks for myself <3

End of 2013
Heyo! Sorry its been a while since I posted but I got into Christmas knitting and I didn't want to start posting pictures and spoiling presents!
BUT! Now they've been delivered I can post!
First, I made a plush dinosaur for my nephew:
It's crochet, not knitting (gasp!!) but was still fun to make all the same. I actually had to stop work on it for a few days as crocheting made my wrist hurt something fierce. I've become primarily a knitter these days, so going back to doing something in crochet made my wrists all confused and achy. :/
He loved it! And of course it went straight into his mouth but I don't care because he's adorable :D
I also made my brother a pair of Ravens socks with that Dragonfly Fibers Dragon Sock - Baltimore Ravens colorway I bought earlier this year. I honestly had trouble figuring out what to do with this yarn for the better part of this year until it spoke to me and asked to be socks.
Okay, that's not exactly what happened, but there was always a strong inclination that it was going to be socks. Just WHAT kind of socks remained a mystery. I originally was going to make them for me, but I'm not a huge football fan, and while I support the Ravens I figured my brother would probably get more use out of them than me :)
This was one of the earlier attempts before I ripped it back out and decided just doing a plain stockinette stitch for the sock would be easiest to rock through for maximum sock in minimum time.
Let it be said that also making socks for other people is HARD! Especially when they're supposed to be a surprise. I asked my brother what his shoe size was (as discreetly as possible) and also consulted every sock measurement chart I could find, but found that they were misshaped. I then eventually had to go find friends and family members with that size so I could make sure I was re-doing the sock in an accurate size.
Long story short, I'm probably going to be under-measuring socks from now on. Either my gauge is off or the charts are, perhaps both. Maybe I'm working off an odd pattern for socks, who knows?? But socks stretch a bit, and I figure if I measure a bit short then some stretch can make up for it. Woo!
Then I also made a cowl for my sister in law! This one I did post already actually... HAHA! ;) Sneaky.
And then finally--or at least what I have completed at the moment--I made a hat for my youngest brother!
Woohoo!
There are still a few random Christmas knits that I need to complete, so I'll post photos of those as I go.
Stay tuned!
After working on a bunch of Christmas knits, I'm taking the evening to work on a pair of socks for me :)
