all i have to say is don't believe everything you read on the internet. people have a way of making complete bullshit sound like facts. and never listen to one side of a story either.

you know what the fuck we need to leave in 2016? ABUSIVE MUN RELATIONSHIPS. everybody who thinks it’s okay to stalk, taunt, intimidate, harass, manipulate, pressure or attack their writing partner needs to pick up everything they own in the box to the left and go. i’m sick and tired of seeing people who feel as though they are entitled to something—whether it be their ‘friendship’, ship, plot, resource, etc—and taking abusive measures to try and get it. it does not matter if you’ve known the person for years or if you just met them 6 hours ago, you have no right to pick at someone’s psyche for your own gain. you have no right to tell someone who they can and cannot roleplay with you do not have the right to toy with their thoughts / emotions to ensure that they don’t, and you don’t have the right to go after them when things don’t go your way. there are people who are scared, legit SCARED, of other people within the rpc. why is that within a community that literally exists to provide both escapism and a constructive outlet for creativity, are there people who suck the life and healthy intent right out of roleplaying? why do muns like to establish themselves as additional sources of anxiety and stress for their fellow muns? why are we driving people away from rping by the bus load, knowing full well that if everybody leaves - nobody gets to rp? and most importantly, why are we trying to kill the safety in a safe haven? none of it makes sense, my dude. and i’m sick of it. stop treating your writing partners and fellow muns like they’re not every ounce of human that you are. just because you’re not face to face with a person when you abuse them doesn’t make what you do any less harmful.
