  2012年春夏、ポール・スミスは英国のサーフブランド、Swami’sとコラボレートし、サーフィンにインスパイアされたウェアのコレクションと、カスタムメイドの限定サーフボードを発売します。

ブランド名Swami’sはカリフォルニアにある有名なサーフポイントから命名されており、もともとは1937年に断崖の上にヒンドゥー教の僧院を建てたインド人聖職者の名前に由来しています。

クラフツマンシップ、芸術性、人間工学に基づいた卓越性で名高いSwami’sのスピリットを生かした今回のコラボレーションでは、カラフルなプリントがほどこされたアイテムや、サーフボードが登場。

ウェアのコレクションにはTシャツやパーカーが含まれ、50本限定生産のサーフボードにはポールのサインが入るほか、デッキにイニシャルを入れられるサービスも。世界最高水準の技術を誇る職人によりオールハンドメイドされたボードはサイズ9’より展開。（ボードに関するお問い合わせは代官山のPaul Smith BOX まで。）

Paul Smith BOXでは2月24日 (金) から3月24日 (土)までPOP UP SHOPを開催中。
