Is error aroace?

Calling him aroace, implies something a bit more simplistic then what Error is really like.

Error is very unstable, mentally and physically because of his glitching. His mood can shift wildly from one moment to another, and despite how much I joke about him being a manbaby, he’s genuinely dangerous and frankly I’d wish him on no one in the universe.

Even if he has some capability to ‘fall in love’, he’d be too unstable to recognize it, or even pursue it. Glitching affects the mind pretty hard, so much so, I think any error can’t really attach themselves to other people much at all. Especially in a romantic sense. Even friendships require a level of consistency of thought, and ‘errors’ are anything but consistent.

So I got rlly excited from this post because of the representation here and I thought I'd share my genuine reaction with the voicemail I sent to my friends (I did have to explain a bit)

Theres no such thing as too much representation. There's not just one singular rep of something that can perfectly describe everyone's experiences. KEEP REPRESENTING EVERYONE

Id also like to point out that the reason WHY I love it so much is because most of the time when characters get headcanon or are this specific sexuality its tied to their personality/obsession. There is of course nothing wrong with that! I do it too admittedly

But I absolutely just LOVE it when a character j happens to be that sexuality. It's not tied to anything, it j exists

Sorry for the ask, but I’m confused about the aroace terms you’re using! You’re saying Cuphead is aroace spec and Jessica Rabbit is just aroace. What’s the difference? So sorry again…!

The reason i said "spec" for cuphead was bc he's unsure where he falls on the spectrum. He's just never had time to think about it, nor has he really cared at all.

The concept of toxic Chodark is delicious I can't believe I've never realized it until now

TDL could never choose to love TCO but he would. If his code allowed it. He was someone who stood by his side and my god did they have fun. There's nowhere else to go, not when they're wanted criminals, not when they're hated netwide. It was always just TCO. The very thing he was created to kill.

He loved him because of how entertaining he was, how much fun he brought and most importantly: brought him into a life that meant more than serving Alan.

But TCO isn't The Chosen One anymore is he? He's No One now... He's not in his code anymore. he CAN love him now. But will he? He's not the same person now. Both of them aren't.

The sexualities given to these guys are just the ones we had in mind when writing the cast

The ace characters in our brain are

- Cuphead: Aroacespec

- Dyle: Aroace

- Jessica Rabbit: Ace

- Michael Theodore Fieldmouse: Ace

and many more that i'll update the list later with.

I see a common myth (haha get it) that people are spreading around that says that means these guys CAN'T be in relationships. But thats not true.

Aroace people can still be in relationships, its just that their attraction will look a bit different.

Point being: Don't throw these guys into a jar. Sexuality is a lot like gender: never a solid consistent thing. A fluid spectrum!

Most characters who R labeled/HC as pansexual tend to be those who are extra kind and friendly, but bendy is selfish. He's willing to lie kill and even leave ppl behind as long as it means he gets his way.

Most characters who R labeled as aroace tend to be aloof, selfish or have a goal that takes up their entire life. Cuphead doesn't have that, he's willing to continue living for mugsy, he doesn't seemingly have a lifelong goal and by the gods is he ANYTHING but aloof.

BUT OF COURSE IF THIS HAS HIT YOU IN ANY WAY NEGATIVELY I assure you this is NOT an attack in any way. I'm simply happy that this kind of representation exists and that I'm here to see it. Stereotypes can be hard to break and that's ok!

I don't see a lot of aroace-spec rep and the one I did see caused a lot of controversy within the fandom and a few other ace characters as well since they ^^

Aroace cups makes me so happy cuz he rlly is j a guy who's most important person to him is his brother. He doesn't solely care about anything else like gambling or fighting, it's just things he enjoys but not essentially downright obsessed with. It's not his main goal or life long dream, it's just a part of him, things he loves.

Cups is j a guy, a guy with mental problems, a bad situation, and his closest person is his brother. He's just a character who happens to be aroace and I LOVE that
