So what all are their civilian jobs anyway? They manage the military junk yard, repair cars, and now apparently run a tow service. Not sure how they have the time to do all those at once.

And that’s in addition to having enough free time to build out a massive underground air hanger, build and maintain a high tech jet with all sorts of fancy missiles, and fight crime.

While I can see that Scaredy Cat show being a comedy for our world I have a hard time buying that it’s a comedy in theirs. For us there’s the disconnect of being animated and being an anthropomorphic cat, further divorcing his suffering from us. Even if it is animated for them, hard to tell when the entire medium for us is animated, it would be akin to having a cartoon where a realistic looking person is tormented endlessly. Maybe good for some dark humor but not what we’ve seen in the random bits shown so far.

Isn’t overanalyzing things fun?

I bet if it featured a tortured dog, it would have been more amusing to human audiences. (And if it was a tortured human, with no other mention of humans, well, that would put an odd tone to the show wouldn’t it)

Why isn’t she running the city as mayor right now again?

You know, as opposed to running the city as deputy mayor like she is right now.

I’d just like to remind everyone that this underground facility was made by two people, in their off time, out of stuff in a military junk yard.

Makes me wish I had even a hundredth of that kind of dedication.

It should have taken years for two people to construct, I mean. I wonder how many years it took for them to become Swat Kats? I guess that’s filed under “don’t think about it”
