unfortunatescnâ:
Truthfully, the last person Andy was interested in running into with Desmond Grayson. He understood that the other man was important to Lettie, and Lettie was important to Andy â So he should try, but the kid was a punk. Not to mention, he surely knew all the gory details of Andy and Lettieâs botched job. Andy didnât want to hear his opinion, but he was flying too high to care much about it right now. Instead, he takes another drag of his cigarette watching the scene unfolding in front of him. The sound of Desmondâs voice pulls Andyâs attention, a brow arching as he spoke. It was surprising to hear the other man approve of anything club related felt worthy of suspicious, given his history of being openly against their presence in town â And Andyâs first conversation with him, where heâd threatened lighting the man on fire if he hadnât backed off snooping around. His eyes narrow for a moment, taking another drag of his cigarette before actually speaking. âGuess so.â Andy settles with, before adding: âWhat are you doinâ here?â
There was no one that annoyed Desmond more than Andy did for the most part, and it was easy enough to avoid the old man generally. Not to mention, Desmond wasnât exactly pleased with Andy that he was just letting Lettie take responsibility for the murder. It had lowered Desmondâs opinion of the man incredibly, as he wasnât sure such a thing had even been possible. But apparently it was. Perhaps his words had been a bit more civil towards the gangs, but his eyes were still daggers in Andyâs direction. âYou canât expect the town not to be curious about what happened, maybe even wanna see it for themselves.â The words were bit out, as Desmond was deciding whether or not to pick a fight over Lettie taking the fall for Andy.Â
